Update: Shortly after Nithyananda's sex scandal broke, commenter to this blog, 'Swamiji is God (SIG)' realized and admitted that Paramahamsa Nithyananda was no Paramahamsa. 'Swamiji is God' wrote us a nice post and admitted that we were right, and thanked us for our efforts in exposing the fraud of Nithyananda and his cult. 'Swamiji is God', like many of us, is a sincere seeker who got taken in by Nithyananda. This is our story too. So, we're glad to have helped. We are leaving this post and 'Swamiji is God's comments up as an archive to help others see and realize the Truth. We hope that 'Swamiji is God' is able to carrying on his/her spiritual journey and has not suffered too much emotional and spiritual damage from Nithyananda's fraud.

Nithyanandam, the objective of your blog is to educate all about the wrongdoings and lies of Swamiji and his organization, correct ? This is to help people inside to realize that they are following a "fake" Swami and should immediately withdraw from all his associated activities, correct ? I am a devotee of Swamiji, please can you answer these simple questions logically ? 1. If he was really in RK mission, and not a divine person, how did he end up in Bidadi(from Near Erode) of all places in India and that too with the land being donated for free with a Huge Banyan tree in its premises. 2. How did Sec Ayya get cured from Cancer just by a touch from Swamiiji. I am from Tamil Nadu and I know people who knew Ayya before he met Swamiiji and they told me he had cancer and was on the death bed etc.. and that they did not know he was alive until I told them about Swamiji, they had come for Kalpataru and were shocked to see Secretary Ayya not only alive and well but also driving Swamiji's car. They knew ayya from a previous organization and they told me ayya was too weak and sick to even drive a car 11 years back and now he looks so energetic like a youth. How can you explain this if Swamiji was not divine?

I understand lots of the statements on the dhyanapeetam site/ books might be 'exaggerated', but not all are lies. You have like 10 falsified and exaggerated statements, whereas devotees have 100s of stories they can vouch for, like healing, miracles etc.. How do you justify this ? I am for open and honest discussion. There are probably 100 people max who have left/unhappy, and at least 2000-3000 people still connected to Swamiji and happy with the mission. Are you saying the majority are wrong about something which only the smart 100 or so have "Realized". Hopefully one of us is convinced that we are wrong. If you really do not have any animosity towards Swamiji, and you are really trying to get the truth out, then post this and justify the hundreds of people healed, thousands of people living blissfully. Just a few exaggerated statements does not nullify a 100 truths. I pray to Swamiji that all of us attain, experience and radiate 'nithyananda' - Eternal Bliss.

Answer to Anon above if my post is approved ! I agree I am a devotee of Swamiji and I also agree with lot of points on this website. I have even seen the personal side of Swamiji. All the gold etc. is only a front, he is actually very modest in private ! He eats only in steel plates(even refusing to eat in a silver plate in a devotee's house), sleeps in modest accommodations etc. But what I have realized is that Spiritual Masters, no matter how chaste they are, or how careful they are, they are always criticized because of their actions. Let me quote a few examples, Yogi Ramsurat Kumar, a well known saint in Tiruvannamalai once threw a stone at a devotee when that person came to him with a problem and asked him for a solution, that person's wish was fulfilled ! Internet/ blogging was not so popular then otherwise he would have been labelled a mad man and there would have been a blog like this attacking him. Buddha had 6 of his very close first disciples leave because they thought he could not deliver to them the ultimate truth. Ramakrishna Paramahamsa was thought of having some psychological problems and hence his visions of kali. See each master had varying levels of difficulty dealing with society, but when all is said and done they are revered and worshipped and they have long gone by and their ideals have been polished for society, but a big BUT, when they were in the body, they always faced criticism and hardships from society. Jesus was crucified, Osho was poisoned etc.. So what I want to conclude is that we in our plane of consciousness and thinking, we can never judge an Avatara Purusha's or an Enlightened one's actions based on our understanding. And one more thing with Swamiji is with the advances in technology enabling faster transmission of data, every small discretion is glorified and spread faster than fire. To conclude all I want to say is Buddha was criticized by few when his disciples started leaving him thinking he was fake, but in the grand scheme of things say like thousands of years later, the people who connected with him, benefitted and got enlightened, but the people who criticized, history never remembered them, but Buddha still lives on. So in our story in the grand scheme of things, in a large portrait that is the size of maybe the whole world, Existence will exist through the human form through masters like Buddha, Krishna, Jesus, Mohammad, Nithyananda, Ramakrishna, Vivekananda, Ramana etc.. and all the people who criticized or spoke ill will not even be the size of a pizel on that huge canvas. Those who catch the master will become one with it !!!!!

Thanks, so much, 'Swamiji is God' for taking the time to write thoughtful questions, which we'll be glad to try to give a thoughtful reply too. We are not looking at this as a 'debate' where there will be a winner or not, but we're looking at this as a way that we can exchange our views in hopes of getting a better understanding.

Yes, you understood most of our objectives. All of the contributors to this blog have had extensive experience with 'Paramahamsa' Nithyananda. Some of our contributors were even in that first batch of mass 'enlightenment' that occurred in Los Angeles, June, 2007. We have found that Swami Nithyananda really is not what he seems. We would like to let others, who are new to Nithyananda, know our experience so they can make a more informed decision whether to follow him or not. And, as you mentioned, we would also like those who are already very involved with Nithyananda and his mission reevaluate their commitment and see if they really want to continue down this path. We also have a wish (but realize that it is just a wish) that Sri Nithyananda will reform his Mission and emphasize compassion to Divinity without tearing apart families and stop all the other well documented grievances that we have written about.

"Swamiji is God", we are going to skip the order of your posts. Hope that's OK. You wrote that you acknowledged that some of the Nithyananda's (biography) stories might be exaggerated and that we might have written material that was either exaggerated or not truthful. Actually, this is key to us. We did not exaggerate any of our findings. You mentioned that we had at least ten (10) "falsified and exaggerated statements". Please let us know specifically which of our statements are in question. We will be glad to address those. To the best of our knowledge, everything on our site is true. We have even removed some posts that our sources were not able to verify to our satisfaction. So, just let us know, and please be specific. We'll be glad to discuss. We will admit that we have written our posts in a very bantering way. To be honest with you, that is to both humor and heal us. Our experiencing has been painful, and we rather poke fun at it rather than get real serious about it. Based on our feedback, we know that we have a lot of loyal readers who just love our humor (they must have had problems too :-). We also know that many current insiders are not going to appreciate our humor at all, (although this might be useful for churning purposes). We know firsthand, that no one, who is deeply committed with Sri Nithyananda and his Mission, will leave smiling. Before anyone leaves, there will be some energy and lots of 'churning'. We also want to use humor as a means of showing Sri Nithyananda is just human after all. He is not a God. So rather than pound on the cap keys, we use wit, smart alec, bantering, and a lot of Truth. Those are our weapons. We also have plans to post another site that quickly outlines our key points  in this blog with bullet like succinctness and without the humor. Don't worry, loyal readers, we'll be back with our usual banter in future posts.

Speaking of the Truth, we really wanted to show that Sri Nithyananda has projected an image much greater than he is or even much different than he is. So, by exposing the Truths of the inconsistencies and downright fabrications of his biography, to at least us, prove that Sri Nithyananda is not an avatar waiting to liberate us all. These lapses and creative stories seemed to be done to self-promote himself. Is this the behavior of an enlightened master? We say not at all. If someone lied on their resume, would they still be able to keep their job even if they were competent? Usually not. The Truth is the foundation in which everything else spiritually and sattvic (pure) is based on. If that foundation is wobbly and sinking into missing gaps, then anything built on top of that foundation is going to be distorted, leaning, and not inhabitable. That is exactly the case we see with Sri Nithyananda. At this point, any story that he gives without verification could be questioned as being just another story. This includes his ability to give 'enlightenment'.

We recognize that there will be those who believe in the personality of a charismatic leader and the promise of some brighter future over the Truth. Although we admire the faith of such people, we recognize that this is a very dangerous path and has led to the ruin of many individuals and nations. So, we use Truth as the corner stone of our foundation. We are bent to get to it, and then expose it. If people still want to allow their emotions to overwrite their logic derived from Truth, God bless them.

We are not impressed by the numbers game. A whole nation was once mesmerized and willingly followed Adolph Hitler. Did that make them right? Try saying that to the seven million Jews, Gypsies, and homosexuals that were systematically killed. The United States Constitution is based on protecting the rights of the minority from being trampled by the majority. Conversely, we could use the same logic to say that out of total population of spiritual people, only a few thousand are aligned with Sri Nithyananda and the Life Bliss Foundation. Just the same, we would want your rights to also be protected from a 'majority rule'.

We are glad to hear that you consider a lot of people inside Nithyananda's Order to be happy. We hope that they are happy for the right reasons. We have seen what happens when people carry false certificates of 'enlightenment' that are not valid any where else, give up their sense of identity and family for a life where there responsibilities are lifted, but still they do not feel 'light'. This is what we call living in self-denial or in La-La Land.

Yet, it is not our job to check up or even question the ashramites' happiness. We just want to make sure that those insiders are aware of the process going around them and to examine exactly why they are happy. And to the people who are interested in living in the ashram, is this happiness worth breaking up your family, possibly divorcing your spouse, ending your career, drastically reducing contact with your parents, brothers, and sisters, giving up your identity, mortgaging your children's college fund or even your retirement? At least, we would like people to enter the ashram knowing what may happen to them, and what has happened to others before they join. This is much better than later regretting what happened after it is too late.

In the same way, the cult followers of Reverend Jim Jones of the infamous Jonestown all seemed happy right up to the very end. Reports were given that mothers happily fed their babies cyanide and watched as the babies foamed up the content from their mouths; these mothers then happily swallowed the poison. Reverend Jim Jones' followers really thought that they will all be heading toward salvation or 'enlightenment'. We do not believe that Sri Nithyananda has any wild dreams about doing something that horrendous, but our point is that the foundation for doing something like that is there. The same sort of mindset seems of "Swami will take care" seems to be well in place.  Any body who expresses doubt or questions the word of the master is quickly told to drop it. We have seen firsthand followers surrender their identities, thoughts, actions, etc. completely to Sri Nithyananda. Our message is Be Careful!, and constantly check your internal compass for anything that might be amiss. You (who are over 18) are responsible for you. No one else is. 'Feeling happy' and 'doing the right thing' do not always go 'hand in hand'.

In your second post, you mention about how Sri Nithyananda is modest in private. It is our experience that he can be modest, but often these home visits are to 'seal the deal'. We have also seen the private side of Sri Nithyananda. We've witnessed yelling, violence (but only in India, because he's afraid of lawsuits in North America), and extravagance. We seen him make decisions to fly business class why sending his personal assistant to fly coach, order the most expensive cell phone with the most gadgets (Sri Nithyananda's direct criteria in ordering a phone), staying in posh hotels and not in devotees homes, demanding to be driven in 'regal' SUVs, not simple economy cars, hiring bodyguards, etc. Even in his public life, having such elaborate customs and an unnatural love for gold, which includes several gold thrones, is a little hard for us to say 'modest' and 'simple'. Yes, Sri Nithyananda can be quite charming, simple, and likable when he wants to be. Unfortunately, we have seen a big difference between his 'public' side and his 'private' side that this consistent difference cannot be accounted for by just a bad day.

Yes, we agree with you, 'Samiji is God', that all True Masters certainly had parts of the personalities that would seem as quirks. We really are not interest in those aspects or other one-off incidents such as the one you mentioned about Yogi Ramsurat Kumar. We are looking at 'across-the-board' consistent actions from our personal experiences that lead us to believe that Sri Nithyananda is not the Divine Saint he markets himself to be. We will admit that he is a brilliant orator, an outstanding lecturer, and teacher. We could even say that he might be enlightened on the intellectual plain, but unfortunately, lacks common sense to even make up a consistent time line story. Sorry to say, Sri Nithyananda does not seem enlightened to us in the most important aspect of compassion. He really does not seem to have feelings towards those around him. It is all about him! When his followers become 'hurt', it is because they either did something wrong or 'Swami is working on them.' In this way, you compared Sri Nithyananda to Jesus, Buddha, Paramahamsa Ramamkrishna, Lord Krishna, Mohammad, Swami Vivekananda, Sri Ramana Maharshi, and Osho (Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh). We only believe that Sri Nithyananda is on par with Osho. Osho, as you recall, was a gifted speaker who had a huge following. Osho loved material object such as Rolls Royces, had ulterior political motives, and expressed zero compassion to his followers. He left a legacy of confusion and lost lives. By the way, Osho's health was always very poor, and we do not believe he was poisoned by George Bush Sr. and the CIA as his followers would like people to believe. As with Osho, Sri Nithyananda lacks the compassion that true masters have.

Speaking of criticism, we have heard firsthand many times about how 'Swamiji' Nithyananda gave scathing attacks on several masters. Sri Nithyananda had criticized and/or belittled Paramahamsa Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda, the whole Ramakrishna Mission and Vedanta Society, Mata Amritanandamayi (Ammachi), Sri Sri Ravi Shankar, Sadhguru Jaggi Vasudev of the Isha Foundation, and others. (We'll save the details for future posts.) So, Sri Nithyananda really should check his own behavior first before criticizing those that have shined a Truthful light on him and his operations.

We are also happy to claim that we are not doing an anti-guru site. True Gurus who are committed to the Truth and do not have any inconsistencies from their public and private lives.  True Gurus are dedicated to helping society without any personal gain; they are wonderful and rare folks. Yes, they are all around. Some have gotten famous and some are very low key. We give them all a free pass on this blog even if they have some controversies associated with them. We are only interested in exposing one person, who is not a True Guru (in our humble opinions), and that is Sri Nithyananda. That is the one guru who we are qualified to speak on due to our extensive direct experience with him.

Towards the end of the second posting, 'Swamiji is God' you questioned our motives of why we are criticizing Sri Nithyananda. Let us assure you, that we are not interested in fame. We have no plans on writing a novel, no fantasies of appearing on Oprah, (Oprah Winfrey is a famous TV talk-show in America) or dreams of marketing coffee mugs with our picture on them. We just want to get the Truth out so that others may know before they go. And, if we had this information available to us when we first met Sri Nithyananda, we might have made different decisions. So, we want to let people decide.

Yes, we agree. In this digital age, news travels quickly. We remember that 'Paramahamsa' Nithyananda made goals of the number of people that he wanted to 'enlightened' back in 2005. He set a big number which was over ten fold greater than the number of souls Buddha enlightened because he said that there was no 'buddha.com' back then. So, yes it goes both ways. If Sri Nithyananda kept to Truths and lived a Truthful life, blogs like these would never happen, and Sri Nithyananda's message would be broadcast across the internet without critique. (Or at least no one in our team would be doing what we are doing now.) So, yes, technology can distribute information quickly. Something can rise as fast as a rocket, but the gravity pull of Truth, thanks to technology, can bring it right down. Once again, please let us know what on our site you think are lies and exaggerations. We'll be glad to prove that these posts are True and that our pull of gravity is real.

'Swamiji is God', we'll now go back to your first post. You mentioned bout two of the 'miracles' that are often attributed to 'Paramahamsa' Nithyananda. The first one regards obtaining the property in Bidadi, and the second one regards the healing of 'Swami' Nithyananda's Secretary, Ayya, a.k.a. Sri Nithya Sadhananda Swami. We're very happy to know that Sri Ayya is alive, well, and healthy. Many of us have personally met him, and we know that he is hardworking, professional, and fully dedicated to 'Paramahamsa' Nithyananda's Mission. We are also happy to know that he creates wealth in society and employees many people who are able to have a livelihood based on his efforts. This employment has a wonderful knock-on effect, and spreads very wide especially in India. We only have goodwill toward Sri Ayya. The details about Ayya's healing experience are in question because we found so much of the other stories from Sri Nithyananda to be just that, stories. For the sake of this article, we'll assume on good faith that all of the stories concerning Ayya's healing are true. We will further attribute that healing not just to chance, but to 'Paramahamsa' Nithyananda's efforts, although we have well noted examples of when healing did not occur even though it was promised by Sri Nithyananda. Yes, 'Swami' Nithyananda's healing can happen, but it seems so inconsistent even when it has been promised.   (See posts "Swami Nithyananda's Record at Healing Part I, Part II, and Part III, also of interest, Paramahamsa Nithyananda Turns Away Those In Need Out of Greed).

It would be very hard to claim on a physical level that the healing of someone's body is not a good thing. Once again, we're very glad the Ayya is amongst the living. On a spiritual level, we are not so certain if healing is always the best thing to occur, especially for the healer. It is our understanding that karmas must be transferred when 'spiritual' healing is taken on by another. We remember hearing 'Swami' Nithyananda time and time again saying that he heals 'safely' and that he is able to take the karmas and dispose of them properly. We sure hope that this is true. Otherwise, Sri Nithyananda will be suffering lifetime after lifetime (assuming when he gets a human birth again) of all of these karmas. Based on the exaggerations of Sri Nithyananda's biography, his own fallacies, such as having his U.S. Tourist Visa cancelled, his Bay Area Temple shut down for six months, etc., we really doubt that he has the capacity to 'dispose' of these karmas correctly. We also seen a deep desire from 'Swami' Nithyananda to look as 'divine' as possible, so dealing with the messy aftereffects of karmas from healing might be just an afterthought to him. So, we do pray that Sri Nithyananda is not collecting karmas during these healings, and that everyone will be fine. And, yes, anyone who feels that they have been healed by 'Paramahamsa' Nithyananda, we are glad that you are well and amongst the living.

The source of 'Paramahamsa' Nithyananda's energy is a delicate subject indeed. We know that Sri Nithyananda goes to great lengths to appear to be a very holy man erecting very large and grandiose temples with 'biggest Venkateshwara in North America', etc. As we said in earlier posts, we feel that this is a facade. As far as we can tell, the source of Sri Nithyananda's energy seems to be from dark tantric practices. In this field, someone cannot have Divine energy and still practice dark tantra. Someone can practice one, but not both energies. The reason we conclude that Sri Nithyananda's energy is of this dark source is from all of his stories of graveyards and ghosts. We have never seen a 'master' so enthusiastically embrace graveyard worship before. True Lord Shiva is everywhere including the cemetery. Lord Shiva is NOT exclusively in the cemetery.

Here are some of the statements on Nithyananda's own media that support this claim:

(When he was a teenager) Nithyananda would often meditate all night long in the cremation grounds of Tiruvannamalai absorbed in the vibrant silence of Arunachala, and at the break of dawn, he would return home.

Sri Nithyananda would often lead tours late at night into the cemetery. In his own words:

Some of the famous graveyards of the holy town of Tiruvannamalai were serene places of meditation for Nithyananda. A couple of years back, as we walked as a small group with the Master in the wee hours of the morning(that means very late at night, past midnight) in Tiruvannamalai, he took us to these graveyards and showed us the exact spots where he would sit and meditate.

In our post, "Paramahamsa Nithyananda & Graveyard Enlightenment", we disclosed the technique in Nithyananda's "Living Enlightenment Program" where he took his followers, did a fire ritual in the graveyard, and had them run around chaotically? Is this some sort of 'soul matching'?

In another post titled, "Paramahamsa Nithyananda Spreads His Dark Tantric Bliss - This is NOT Lord Shiva" we mentioned one of the more bizarre occurrences that happened in an Acharya (teacher training) program. More recently, in June 2008, at the Vedic Temple in Montclair (Los Angeles) during an Acharya (teacher training) program conducted by Sri Nithya Medhananda Swami, a young male participant became 'possessed' and tried to kill himself by jumping over the balcony at the hotel. (We'll dedicate a separate post just on that.) In another post titled "Paramahamsa Nithyananda Performs a Red Hot Chili Ritual; Fire Away with Dark Tantric Magic!", we showed some of the more unusual things 'Swami' Nithyananda places in the fire ritual and explained some of the possibilities of why Sri Nithyananda was doing this.

The influences from Sri Nithyananda gives us yet some more clues of what kind of siddhis (esoteric power) Sri Nithyananda learned and how he used them.

Moreover, he (Nithyananda) didn't have to suffer at school! If Nithyananda had homework and complained to the Yogi (Raghupati Yogi), the teacher (at Sri Nithyananda's school) would fall sick the next day!

And, yet another unsettling clue from Sri Nithyananda's upbringing:

Often when Nithyananda missed school, he would seek the help of Thatha to escape punishment from teachers. Thatha would make sure Nithyananda's attendance in school was marked.

These are mildly disturbing and almost amusing stories of Nithyananda's childhood that define the 'science' of dark siddhis (esoteric powers) and its application that could be used in the future.

Now, it might seem like a 'miracle' that Sri Nithyananda was able to see the land in Bidadi from Erode and that someone just happened to want to 'donate' it to him. We see this as possibly a misuse of dark siddhis (esoteric power) that has been carefully cultivated from the graveyards. When these siddhis have been mastered, controlling the thoughts and even actions of others is possible.

Getting back to the source, we see all of Sri Nithyananda's powers along this line, for no Divine influence would want to co-exist with such dark power.  The price for using this type of dark power is clearly mentioned in the Bhagavad Gita when Lord Krishna says:

Demigod-worshippers go to the demigods.
Ancestor-worshippers go to the ancestors.
Those who utilize ghosts, go to the ghosts.
And my devotees go to me (and are not born again).
(Bhagavad Gita: 9.25)

We imagine that Sri Nithyananda's ability to heal also comes from this same dark source. Therefore, recipients of Sri Nithyananda's healing, indeed, might get negative consequences as a result. We just don't know, and there is no way that we could prove this. But, for anyone that gives late night tours and performs rituals for/to others in the graveyard, we cannot think that this is any holy act.

In summary, 'Swami is God' we realize that you are probably not going to agree with us on many (if at all) of these points. Regardless, we have our major reservations about the legitimacy of 'Paramahamsa' Nithyananda's claim to being 'enlightened'. We have discovered major holes in his biography that shake the essence of his ability to be even remotely be seen as truthful. We have witnessed followers (including our own actions in the past) who are more than willing to do unquestionably whatever Sri Nithyananda tells them to do. In case of any reservations, we've been told to "drop the mind, doubt, and the ego". Otherwise, it is our fault. We found Sri Nithyananda to be very ambitious indeed, and hence willing to legitimize his 'holy' claims at the expense of the wellbeing of others and even his own karma. We sincerely pray for him. Conclusively, Sri Nithyananda seems to be focused on graveyard spirituality with the mask of Vedic traditions. Although Ravana built great Shiva temples in Lanka, Lord Shiva, in the form of Hanuman, brought the whole city to flames. It might take some major fire to cleanse the negative influences from such a city. Finally, we have debunked the true and tried techniques that Sri Nithyananda uses to discredit us by saying that we seek fame and that we are out to badmouth all Masters, etc.  From our findings, Swami Nithyananda has been the one that has badmouthed and belittled other enlightened masters and has deeply discredited Vedic traditions in a quest for his own power and fame.

In conclusion, we cannot help but think that Sri Nithyananda is leading others down the wrong path and that he is creating huge karma for himself and others that will take thousands of years to burn off. For the good of all, we really do want this to stop.

We hope that we at least addressed your questions, and we look forward to more dialog.

We think this is quite an accomplishment. We mean you had multiple layers of time continuums, overlapping dementia, we mean dimensions of 'achievements', and spiral logic that ends in a whirlpool to nowhere. You know, Sri Nithyananda, you would make Syd Barrett seem sane in comparison. We really have to thank the folks at nithyatales.webs.com to take all the trouble to untangle this mess and flatten it into one clean image available for the World Wide Web. Now people can see at a glance your creative psychopathic insanity or perhaps just how you took everyone for a ride in your Cult of Fantasyland Fraud. Yes, Sri Nithyananda, you heard us right. You run a Cult of Fantasyland Fraud; picture Bernie Madoff with Mickey Mouse ears. We can almost hear your followers sing now; "It's a Small Warped World After All, Fraud a-la-la-land-la-la". So, Sri Nithyananda, knowing about your fraudulent fantasy-filled timeline and still believing in you, does that lock or unlock this chakra? And, if it blocks the energy to the Muladhara chakra, then what is going to happen to all of your followers?  Will they be able to walk OK?  Actually, Sri Nithyananda, we really don't want to visualize that.

'Paramahamsa' Nithyananda Wanders in the Ramakrishna Mission for Five (5) Years

Summary: 'Paramahamsa' Nithyananda claims to have been wandering 'the breadth of India' until his 'enlightenment' on January 1, 2000. Apparently, he forgot about all the years he was at the Ramakrishna Mission in Chennai (Madras) and for a brief time in Ramakrishna Math in Belur near Kolkata (Calcutta). It seems that these studies significantly cut into his wandering years if not completely overlapped them. Therefore, did any of Paramahamsa Nithyananda's stories, including his 'enlightenment' story actually happen? Read on...

Hi there, Sri Nithyananda. Before your became a self-declared Paramahamsa, how many years did you spend wandering? Oh, yes, we talked about this before in our post titled, "Backpedaling Keeper of Revised 'Truths', Nithyananda, Required to Embellish His Story (Again)".

You, Sri Nithyananda, now will say six (6) years of wandering, down from nine (9) years of wandering, and we figured out by using your dates within your stories that it is most likely just four and a half (4.5) years of wandering, or at most just four and three-quarters (4.75) years of wandering. OK, Sri Nithyananda, until you revise your story again, we'll have to agree to disagree over the number of years you did wandering.
Now, Sri Nithyananda, we would like to ask what do you consider 'wandering' as a sanyasi (ascetic monk)to be? Is that the time that you lived walking and traveling alone at their in the wilderness or holy cities without any ties at all and living only off the generous alms or donations of others? Or, does your wandering also include staying at a Math/Mutt (religious order) in some dormitory? "raaaaabhara?" Our gruntanese translator says that means "Why are you asking?" Oh, Sri Nithyananda, we're asking these questions because we want to know how much time you actually stayed in the Ramakrishna Mission during your wandering years.

In your books and website, it is really not very clear that you spent any time at all at the Ramakrishna Mission in Madras (Chenai) in Tamil Nadu, India.  For instance, on your website about the 'founder', Sri Nithyananda, there is no mention of ever being in the Ramakrishna Mission in Madras (Chenai).  It says that you started your sanyasi (renounced monk) wandering immediate from the get-go.  Let's take a look, on your website, www.dhyanapeetam.org, on this URL:

During his teenage years, after a profound cognitive shift in his understanding through an encounter with a Siddha in Thiruvannamalai, the urge which he had since childhood, to leave home as a sannyasi (renounced monk), reached its peak. After completing his diploma in Mechanical Engineering at Gudiyattam, Nithyananda made the final resolve to set out on his spiritual journey as a wandering ascetic. He embarked on what was to be an arduous journey, stretching thousands of miles covered mostly by foot, over a period of 6 years, traversing the land of Bharat. From Tapovan in the Himalayas to Kanyakumari in the South, from Dwaraka in the West to Ganga Sagar in the East, Nithyananda wandered for several years in India and in Nepal, practicing intense austerities and studying with many sadhus.

Wow, Sri Nithyananda, that certainly is a brave new adventure.  We can see where your mother would be worried about her son being alone and wandering all those years without knowing where your next meal would come from.  Yes, we see that this information is consistent with your book, "His Name is Nithyananda" First Edition, November 2007 on pages 18 through 21.

Then again, in "Nithyananda Vol. 1" First Edition, December 2006 (remember this is the revised second first edition of the recalled "Glimpses of My Master Nithyananda", which was the original first first edition.) Anyway, on page 178 of the second first edition you wrote:

"Nithyananda told his parents that he wanted to leave in a week's time. Back then, he was clear that he would not come back to the South (South India in Tamil Nadu where Nithyananda originated) at all. His heart was set on spending his time in the Himalayan mountains."

and again, on page 177 of the same book, Sri Nithyananda, you wrote:

"They (Sri Nithyananda's parents) knew from the time of his birth when the family astrologer had predicted that he (Sri Nithyananda) would be a raja sanyasi (king of renunciants), that he would leave home sooner or later.  Their hope was that it would be later. They were concerned about how he would take care of himself, and where he would find shelter and where he would find food, since Nithyananda had rarely ventured out of Triuvannamalai."

and again on page 178 of the same book, it is written:

"Both parents did not know when they would see their son again or whether they would see him alive again at all."

and again on page 181:

"...she (Nithyananda's mother) was only worried about who would feed her son as he wandered in the wilderness."

And, here again, in your first big coffee table book, book, "The Formless in Form" first edition 2003 on pages 33:

"Two pieces of cloth to cover his body and a kamandalam (pitcher for water) were all that he possessed in the world.  Resolved not to touch money, not knowing where his next meal was to come from - if at all it was to come! - he lived a life of utter insecurity.

Wow, Sri Nithyananda, you were really prepared to rough it.  A very sincere and hardcore seeker, indeed. But, Sri Nithyananda, you never gave it a mention about being in the Ramakrishna Mission in Madras (Chennai).  You made it look you were just staying overnight in Madras (Chennai) at an uncle's house.  Here it is in your book we just referenced on pages 182-183:

"An uncle from Chennai (known as Madras earlier), his mother's brother, suggested that Nithyananda stay with him in Chennai for a while before he decided to leave, Nithyananda thought that was a good idea.  Intuitively, Nithyananda felt that this would help.  He wanted to go north to the Himalaya.  He knew that he had to start from Chennai by train to reach the Himalaya.  It was also a blessing, since he had already decided that he would not touch any money once he started his wandering.  In a train in India it is still possible to travel without a ticket whereas in a bus it is impossible, and to reach Chennai he had to travel by bus, for which he would have no money.  Things were indeed falling into place!"

OK, Sri Nithyananda, we get it.  According to this revised second first edition of your biography, you went to Chennai (Madras) and straight off, you headed to the Himalayas to do your nine, oops, we mean now six years of wandering.

But what are these pictures, Sri Nithyananda, in your book, "The Formless in Form" first edition 2003 on pages 35 and 36, there's these nice pictures of you in what looks like the Ramakrishna Mission in Madras (also known as Chennai) in Tamil Nadu, India. Shall we take a look?

Sri Nithyananda, we noticed that you were always in white and not in the saffron kavi (renunciant) cloth. Were you just a junior at this institution? Why Sri Nithyananda, with all of your experience at the graveyards in Tiruvannamalai and that 360 vision, etc., you should have been teaching them. Why there are no captions under these pictures in your book.  The only thing that even hints that you were at a Ramakrishna Math or Mission was the header on page 35:

"Swami in his 'student' days"

That's it.  Oh, yes, you mentioned that you received Sri Ramakrisha and Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi's divine darshan (Divine blessings) on page 34 of the same book, but that's it.  You, Sri Nithyananda, didn't mention where this divine darsha of Sri Ramakrishan and Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi occurred.  It was nicely glossed over.  On nicely glossed pages of your picture book.  Oh, how mysterious, Sri Nithyananda.  You are a man of mystery.

Let's take a look at the book that you recalled, "Glimpses of My Master Nithyananda", which was the original first first edition, first edition, December 2005, which you promptly recalled and later revised.  Here on pages 165-166:

"Chennai and Beyond
In Chennai (Madras), Nithyananda stayed with his uncle for a few days.  Each day he would go to his uncle's factory with a person who acted as a guide and security guard, so that he would not run away.  After a few days, Nithyananda suggested to this man that they should go (to) the Kapaliswarar (Siva) temple in Mylapore and the man readily agreed.  In the temple, Nithyananda gave the man the slip and melted away in the crowd. His real journey had started.

Nithyananda went straight to a spiritual institution nearby where they allowed him to stay for a few days, telling him that if he wished to stay longer, he would need to become an inmate of the institution, which the boy had no desire to do.  He did not wish to be part of an organization without a living master present.  When the masters are alive, then the organization around them breathes, lives, and flourishes as if it is a living organism.  Once the masters are no more the organism too dies and the dead matter becomes an organization that then flourishes in the hierarchy and bureaucracy.  Wise beyond his years, Nithyananda wanted no part of any such dead institution."

In the next couple of paragraphs, you, Sri Nithyananda, tell us about how someone spotted you at what you consider (but no one else considers) to be a 'dead' spiritual institution, and your parents went looking for you there.  You escaped this situation because that 'dead' (in your opinion) spiritual institution gave you a kavi (saffron rununciant) cloth.  Then, you, Sri Nithyananda, dressed yourself up in a three-piece kavi robe, carried a long walking stick, and a kamandalu (water pot) and off to the central railway station you went to head up to the Himalayas.

So, we are confused, Sri Nithyananda.  There's these pictures of you at some monastery that sure looks like the Ramakrishna Mission in Madras (Chennai), but you made no mention of it in your books, except for a few days at this 'dead' (in your opinion) spiritual institution in Madras (Chennai) that was rife (in your words) with hierarchy and bureaucracy.  If that was the Ramakrishna Math in Madras (Chennai), your words, Sri Nithyananda, doesn't sound very respectful to an organization that gave us a true Paramahamsa and several enlightened beings, non less, Swami Vivekananda and Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi. And you said that you received Paramahamsa Ramakrishna and Holy Mother Sarada Devi's darshan (Divine blessings)?  So, Sri Nithyananda, that 'dead' spiritual institution couldn't have been the Ramakrishna Mission in Chennai (Madras).  And, if that 'dead' institution gave you a saffron kavi (renunciant) cloth, that means that 'dead' intuition initiated you, Sri Nithyananda, into its Order.  It is our understanding, Sri Nithyananda, that this is not a light matter.  The Ramakrishna Mission usually waits up to ten years just to make sure that the aspiring monk they initiate into sanyasi (renunciate monk) initiation is a person of character.  They don't give this saffron kavi cloth out just so someone can escape from their parents.

But what is this here, Sri Nithyananda? In your pamphlet that you wrote sometime in 2003? It's called "Yet to be Discovered" What irony, Sri Nithyananda, we discovered your history called "Yet to be Discovered" on your website. We have to thank your web team for preserving such early digital treasures so we can see through an archeological perspective of how your 'divine' life story evolved. You, Sri Nithyananda, can refresh your memory by going to this URL:

Sri Nithyananda, do you see in the middle of page 47 where it says:

"At the age of seventeen when he made this enormous decision to leave home & go out into the world, his mother wept inconsolably. His parent’s grief never resulted in refusal. According to the rules of the Ramakrishna Mutt at Chennai, both parent & child had to give in writing, that this boy would no more go back home, & that he had renounced all ties with the family. He studied the scriptures here at this Mutt."

That is interesting, Sri Nithyananda. Since it stated that 'at seventeen', that it was the Ramakrishna Mission (Math or Mutt) in Chennai (Madras) that you went to in the year of 1995. And, the fact that both parents and the child (we guess that the child means you, Sri Nithyananda) had to give your written word on the matter. Is this what your father did when he visited you at that 'dead' institution? But, you, Sri Nithyananda, clearly mentioned both parents. So, did your mother come there too, right before you escaped dressed as a sanyasi (renunciant monk)? Oh, Sri Nithyananda, this gets very confusing. Lucky thing that your mother lives with you in your kingdom, we mean ashram in Bidadi. Is she enjoying all of the fruits of your hard-earned fame and 'success'? Perhaps all of the ashramites, followers, and guests should ask her directly about your initial detour to the Ramakrishna Mission in Madras (Chennai) to get the clear picture. After all, Sri Nithyananda, you of all people, wouldn't want your very own mother to get bad karma for embellishing the Truth or telling lies just to protect her son's fame and wealth? That does not seem like something that a genuine self-declared Paramahamsa should do to his very own mother. So, Sri Nithyananda, let all the ashramites, followers, and guests ask her in private, and just let her answer honestly and without fear that you, Sri Nithyananda, will become upset or might even threaten to kick her out of your kingdom, we mean ashram. That would be the best policy, don't you think?

So, Sri Nithyananda, now that we discovered that you did start your wandering journey first at what you consdier to be a 'dead' institution, (oh, we prefer to say the Ramakrishna Mission in Chennai [Madras]), exactly how long did you stay there?... you know, before you started your real wandering journey, you know the stuff that legends are made out of... like receiving the darshan (divine blessings) of Mahavtar Babaji, encountering that old bear in the virgin forest of Omkareshwar, having that out-of-body-death meditation at Manikarnika Ghat in Benaras (Varanasi), healing your own broken back after breaking it on an army truck ride in Tapovan, hiding from a man-eating tiger while in an ashram, vibrating under a big meditation bell at a Buddhist monastery, witnessing bees swarming into a honeycomb that stretched from one mountain to another, a distance of almost 200 feet, walking across a raging river with your eyes closed while miraculously always having your feet on the bottom, and 'realized yourself' (became enlightened) in the forests of Omkareshwar, as Sankara did more than 1000 years earlier, on the banks of the river Narmada. Wow, that was a lot of adventures. And how many miles did you cover in this journey, Sri Nithyananda? Well, we do want to ask, because it is not clear. In that pdf brochure "Yet to be Discovered" it says on page 48:

"He (Nithyananda) has traveled the length & breadth of India, covering a distance of nearly 30,000 kilometers of which 2,000 kilometers was covered on foot."

Wow, 30,000 kilometers is 18,641 total miles and 1,243 miles by foot. That's a lot especially when you, Sri Nithyananda, consider those miles by foot were in the dense virgin jungle or on some very steep trail in the Himalayas. And we're sure that there were some days that there was snow, heavy rain, and even national holidays that made travel impossible. But, Sri Nithyananda, we're not certain if this is the correct number or not. You see, in your book, "Nithyananda Vo1. 1", second first edition, December 2006, in the middle of page 54, we can see that the same amount of kilometers, 30,000 is given. Fair enough. But, 143 pages later, to be exact page 197 or page one of the Appendix of your biography, third paragraph, you, Sri Nithyananda, wrote:

"His spiritual quest started seamlessly as a child. At the age of 12, he had his first deep spiritual experience. At 17, he left home on a journey of self-realization and wandered the length and breadth of India and Nepal. He studied Yoga, Tantra and other Eastern metaphysical Sciences and had many profound spiritual experiences. Of the 70,000 miles that he covered visiting great shrines and practicing intense meditation, many thousands of miles he covered by foot."

Sri Nithyananda, is this a misprint? In just 143 pages, you covered an additional 51,359 miles! (70,000 miles minus 18,641 [30,000 kilometers] = 51,359 miles.) That miracle must have taken a lot of energy! Your vague about the additional miles covered by foot, but rest assured that "many thousands of miles" is greater than just 1,243 miles. Maybe this difference was a 'divine' editor miracle that your sleep-deprived indentured laborers missed? But, wait, what's this? Two years later, in your book "His Name is Nithyananda" first edition, November 2007 on page 19:

"Covering over 70,000 miles, many thousands of miles, he covered by foot."

Wow, so that wasn't a misprint after all. You, a Truth-telling, genuine self-declared Paramahamsa actually went the additional revised distance. OK, Sri Nithyananda, we'll agree that you covered 70,000 miles during your journey of nine (9), oooops, we mean six (6) years, but most likely just four and a half (4.5) years. Minus that brief stint at the Ramakrishna Mission in Chennai (Madras), of course.

Wow, Sri Nithyananda, you really packed the miles and the stories in a very condensed time. So, how much time did you spend in the Ramakrishna Mission (which you, and you alone, consider to be a 'dead' institution)? It couldn't have been very long, in order to get all of these stories and miles in, correct?

Well, some of those very nice and sincere people who have given their whole lives to spread and preserve the teachings of Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda, the Vedanta Society, and the Truth wrote about you, Sri Nithyananda, and how long you were at the Ramakrishna Mission. Let's take a look:

Ramakrishna Witness no. 1:
"Swami Nithyananda was in our Organization as a novice, probably during 1996-2000."

Ramakrishna Witness no. 2:
"Fact:
He had joined the Ramakrishna Order at the Madras centre and then spent 3 yrs there, went to their headquarters and was thrown out after a year there (?? can't say for sure, some-time in 2000)."

Ramakrishna Witness no. 3:
"Before becoming the Paramahamsa Nithyananda he was a Brahmachari of Ramakrishna Order of India. He left the Order after 4 years of his joining."

Ramakrishna Witness no. 4:
"Before becoming the Paramahamsa Nithyananda he was a Brahmachari of Ramakrishna Order of India. He left the Order after 4 years of his joining."

Ramakrishna Witness no. 5:
"...he became a novice at the Ramakrishna Mission's monastery in Chennai (formerly Madras) in southern India. He stayed there for 4 years, and then after a few months at the monastic training center in Belur Math near Calcutta, he left the Order and started living independently."

Ramakrishna Witness no. 6:
"Paramahamsa Nithyananda joined as a novice (brahmachari) in our Organisation/Order. But he left the Order after 5 years."

Ramakrishna Witness no. 7:
"He (Nithyananda) was a young monk of our order for several years before he left to start his own group."

Ramakrishna Witness no. 8:
"Nithyananda probably joined the monastery in Madras (Chennai) in 1994 or 1995... He attended the monastic training college in Belur Math in 1999 (or 2000), and left the Order from there within a few months."

Wow, Sri Nithyananda. All those testimonials look pretty convincing to us. If in the 'best case scenario' (that is best case, for you, Sri Nithyananda), you left the Ramakrishna Mission on January 2, 1999, that allowed for you to travel "the breadth of India" in 364 days. No wonder you, Sri Nithyananda, call yourself the 'jet set swami'. Let's see. You said that you traveled 70,000 miles and several thousand of those miles were on foot.  If you remember, Sri Nithyananda, on your current website, you say that, "He (Nithyananda) embarked on what was to be an arduous journey, stretching thousands of miles covered mostly by foot..." So, we could set the distance on foot to 60,000 miles, which even applied to the revised six (6) years of wandering (down from nine [9] years of wandering) would be impossible. So, Sri Nithyananda, we'll give you a break. Let's set the distance for 'on foot' at a low number of just 3,000 miles. That's about the averaged distance between the West Coast and the East Coast of the continental United States. If we divide 364 days into these numbers, you averaged about 192 miles of travel per day of which 8.25 miles were from walking, but we really think that you must have put on some jogging shorts on and ran that distance. Still it is nothing short of a miracle!

Of course, after all of that traveling, you, Sri Nithyananda, then had to have time to have all of those experiences such as encountering Mahavtar Babaji, bumping into an old bear while camping out in the forest, having that out-of-body-death experience at a cremation center in Benaras (Varanasi), meditating under a big bell at a Buddhist monastery, hiding from a man-eating tiger in the Himalayas, breaking your back and then healing it with your own hands after back-breaking ride in the back of an army truck from Tapovan, seeing bees make a formation of a giant honeycomb that stretched across the mountains, a distance of almost 200 feet (which makes the mountains unbelievably close, but these are your words), walking across the roaring rapids of a deep river with your eyes shut while miraculously not falling, and becoming 'enlightened' at the banks of the Narmada River in Omkareshwar. Just amazing, Sri Nithyananda. Now, we all can believe that you really are divinity to be able to do all of these things in one year or less.

But, wait, Sri Nithyananda. Several of the witnesses from the Ramakrishna Mission said that you did not leave the Ramakrishna Mission until sometime in the year of 2000. That would mean, Sri Nithyananda, that on your 'enlightened' day of January 1, 2000, you actually were still in some dormitory being a 'junior' at the Ramakrishna Mission in either Madras (Chennai) or the Belur Math / Mutt. Does this mean that any of these wandering stories, including your 'enlightenment' actually happened? Does this mean all these stories that you tell to everyone to make sure that they come and pay your very expensive programs are still true? Does this mean that all of those volunteers, ashramites, Ananda Sevaks (fulltime indentured laborers), and Ananda Samajis (big donors) have been cheated? Does this still make you a 'Paramahamsa'? Paramahamsa, ah, if we may still call you a, ah, Paramahamsa, Paramahamsa Nithyananda, are you, Sri Nithyananda, still legitimate? Say it ain't so, Sri Nithyananda! Does this mean that we will not be able to get easy and pain-free 'enlightenment' from you and all of those pricey multi-level marketing (MLM) programs you offer! Our world is coming to an end!

Sri Nithyananda, we don't know who to believe. All of the senior people from the Ramakrishna Mission and probably most of the junior people at the Ramakrishna Mission are very honest. Sri Nithyananda, you were a junior at the Ramakrishna Mission, correct? So, you should know. After all, there's been few as pure and inspiring as Paramahamsa Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda, and Holy Mother Sri Sarada Devi. They and their disciples live and breathe the Truth. And, you, Sri Nithyananda, you're a self-proclaimed 'Paramahamsa' that sometimes revises and embellishes your Truths, but the very fact that you identify as being a 'Paramahamsa' should count for something. And, you have all of those very enthusiastic followers, over 500 books published under your name, and almost 600 YouTube videos under the Life Bliss Foundation; why that makes you, Sri Nithyananda, also Truthful, correct?

Sri Nithyananda, what kind of strategy are you going to take to stop this idea that your wondering and 'enlightenment' stories are just that, stories? Wait, Sri Nithyananda, if you discredit all of these very earnest and sincere people from the Ramakrishna Mission and make a case that they are lying and therefore are liars, then you, Sri Nithyananda, might be able to keep your wandering stories, your 'enlightenment', your enthusiastic followers, your big donors, your indentured laborers, and all those cute room service ladies. Will you, Sri Nithyananda, say that these witnesses from the Ramakrishna Mission are jealous of you, because you are a living 'enlightened' master, and all these people at the Ramakrishna Mission have are just dead 'enlightened' masters? Well, those worldly people who identify with you as a physical being and have your picture on the malas (rosaries) that they have around their necks just might believe this. Will you, Sri Nithyananda, attack the Ramakrishna Mission and say that it is a 'dead' institution that is filled with hierarchy and bureaucracy just as you wrote in your book, "Glimpses of My Master Nithyananda", original first first edition, first edition, December 2005, on pages 165-166? Yes, Sri Nithyananda, this strategy is consistent to your previous badmouthing of the Ramakrishna Mission and other spiritual institutions that you lashed out in front of your ashramites while you were 'establishing' your supremacy. Yes, this would be a consistent path. To help you, Sri Nithyananda, remember all of those 'truthful' revelations that you said about the Ramakrishna Mission and other living masters, we'll dedicate a blog post just on that. Maybe, we'll make it a series, so it will be easy to email to the specific right people. Does that sound like a good idea there, Sri Nithyananda? Sri Nithyananda? Are you awake? Oh, drats. Sri Nithyananda, you went into samadhi again.

We know that you advertise January 1, 1978, but we also seen your passport document that says March 13, 1977. So, perhaps we're a few months early, not late. Yes, figuring out your birthday is a mystery of mysteries if you ask us. Perhaps we should just celebrate your 'enlightenment' day, that too lands on January 1, 2000. How convenient. We can watch football and then head down to nearest Life Bliss Center and hear some real creative stories, just like the one that 'gotta' away¹. So, we'll save the jayanti / birthday celebrations for another time.

Hey, Sri Nithyananda, did you know that Existence must have decided to celebrate your jayanti / birthday, we mean 'enlightenment' bash with a special gift? We mean that since you launched the Parallel Universe Blog and the Perpendicular Universe Blog, it seems that you've been blessed with a Mirror Universe of Truth Website. "What!?!" Yes, you heard us right, there, Sri Nithyananda. This is a Mirror Universe of Truth Website. It is not like those mirror universes in Star Trek. This Mirror Universe of Truth Website reflects not what you want the world to believe, but it tells the Truth. "Gribba Gribba!" Oh, we see. Our gruntanese translator said that we might be put into a orbit around some distant universe if we're not careful.

OK, Sri Nithyananda, we'll try to explain this concept to you as carefully as we can. See, a mirror reflects things as they are. A mirror doesn't bother what 'angle' to cast things, what kind of 'light' it needs to shed on the subject, it just reflects. A mirror is not interested in how much money someone has, what sort of value can they add to build someone's empire, or even what type of service this person would give while, ahem, delivering food to your personal quarters late at night. A mirror just simply reflects the Truth. It doesn't bother about worldly matters.

Sri Nithyananda, do you remember that fairy tale story about Snow White and the Seven Dwarfs?  Yes, that was a fairy tale that Walt Disney made famous in an animated cartoon. In that fairy tale, there was also this power-hungry old queen that had a big thing about looking youthful and the hottest thing in her kingdom. Does this sound sort of familiar there, Sri Nithyananda? "I am NOT a queen!" Oh, really, Sri Nithyananda? Do you remember the time that you dressed up in a silk sari in Mother's Day 2005 for all of the participants in acharya (teacher) training in Krishnalaya, California? Wow, you were sure a big hit with the ladies. Now we always suspected that you, Sri Nithyananda, wanted to crawl into a silk sari, but we never dreamed that you would actually wear one. Sri Nithyananda, do you remember how you gave a piece of your sari to all the ladies there, but what we really think they wanted was a piece of... perhaps we should write that here. Anyway, they really fell for that that you were just beyond all this he-she thing. Some of the guys at the training program thought that perhaps you, Sri Nithyananda, had become the embodiment of a he-she thing. Oh, well, different perspectives.

And, do you remember, Sri Nithyananda, the Inner Awakening (IA) program in Bidadi, when you came out sporting all of the 24K golden accessories, you know, like earrings and other girlie stuff?  Wow, that was quite some theatrics there, Sri Nithyananda. You even wiggled a little. It was kind of nice to see that you enjoyed all of that 24K gold, even if it was fetishly so. And, you did this all under the cover of being 'Devi' (Divine Goddess). Wow, Sri Nithyananda. After witnessing that, someone might think that you've turned into an imposter. A female imposter, that is. Why you even threatened everyone after your vampish 'Devi Darshan' antics with 'bad karma' unless they 'promise not to tell'. You remember, Sri Nithyananda, you made it as if it was 'our little secret'. Was this part of karmic law? Sri Nithyananda, we think that it might fit under Megan's Law.  Come to think of it, Sri Nithyananda, threatening people not to tell the Truth with bad karma is a bit of drag. In your case, you dressed it in drag. It's still a drag, though. Back to that queen.

Yes, that queen in the fairy tale Snow White had this magical mirror that would tell the Truth about how she was looking old and middle aged. As you can probably relate, the queen wasn't too happy about this. But, what to do? That was the Truth. Hey, Sri Nithyananda, speaking about getting around that middle-aged thing, you know, if you told people that you were not born in 1978, but instead you were born in 1948, then all of your worldly devotees who identify with you as being a material body would think that you really are 'enlightened'. They would say something like, "He looks like he's just in his forties, but really he is in his sixties! He must be 'enlightened'." And, that's all the proof you would need to convince them to donate whatever you need to your empire. We suppose that it might be difficult to go back and restate your birthday, but it's just an idea. After all, you were fairly convincing when you reduced your wandering from nine (9) years to just six (6) years. Even though that still didn't make sense.

Maybe you could still pull it off and say that you had a 'divine re-vision'. Sorry, we digress. In the same way that queen in the fairy tale had a magical mirror that reflected the Truth, you, Sri Nithyananda, now have a new website that also reflects the Truth, you know, the stuff you don't want to hear, but you need to hear, just kind of like the stuff in this blog. And, in that mirror of Truth, the Mirror Universe of Truth Website to be exact, reflects all of your fairy tales perfectly, as they are, as fairy tales.

In this new website, the Truth about all of your fairy tales is presented up front and isn't cluttered with lots of details or jokes that your brainwashed devotees never think are funny. By the way, does seriousness block the agna chakra (third-eye center)? Just a thought, for all of those who don't have time to meditate. Anyway, your devotees can now get the Truth about your fairy tales up front and one clean interface. They no longer have to navigate through all of the blog entries, and they can see your most famous and illogical fairy tales as a one-stop-shop. Just think how easy it will be for your devotees to email other devotees and say that these Truths about your fairy tales are just not true. Why, with a little effort and just the right words, they could stop all the Truths about your fairy tales in just one shot. Will you, Sri Nithyananda, let them give it a try?

Hi there, Sri Nithyananda. What's happening with your blog? You know, the parallel universe blog where everything gets turned upside down? You know, that blog that we wrote about just a few weeks ago in the blog article called "Nithyananda Starts a New Parallel Universe Blog = Fantasy Land". Oh, that blog. Here it is now:

We must admit, Sri Nithyananda, we had a lot of fun making fun of that blog. It was like a 20 mph fast ball, where the 'S' fell out of the word 'fast'. Yes, it had 'hit me' written all over it. In fact, it was like our personal piñata. (A piñata is a paper figure that is filled with candy and little toys. Children that are blind-folded try to hit and then break the swinging piñata to get access to the goodies inside.)

Yes, Sri Nithyananda, your parallel universe blog gave us these posts, "Nithyananda Starts a New Parallel Universe Blog = Fantasy Land", "Nithyananda's Parallel Universe is Ignorant, Therefore Not Bliss", and inspired our latest post "Backpedaling Keeper of Revised 'Truths', Nithyananda, Required to Embellish His Story (Again)". We think that anything of substance that we posted instantly became weightless in your cult's parallel universe blog. In fact, it looks like you ran out of things to say. Sri Nithyananda, did you get tired of the same old character assaults, cling to fantasy land, remedy the Truth by taking some brainwashing cult-indoctrination programs of yours? It's been over two weeks, and nothing new. You still haven't answered our five (5) simple chronological questions about your time line. Why anyone with fingers on their hand should be able to answer these five simple questions. When will you do that, Sri Nithyananda? "Grabbal Gabble." Oh, our gruntanese translator said that means you don't want to talk about it. But, sorry there, Sri Nithyananda, we do want to talk about it. You see, if you can't even answer those five simple chronological questions about you and your 'enlightenment', then we might begin to think that you made all of these stories up. Then you, Sri Nithyananda, really do offer a fantasy world.

So, does this mean, Sri Nithyananda, that we are not going to hear anything more from your cult's parallel universe blog? Is it destined to float the Universe of Truth like some space junk from the Soviet Sputnik? At least, Sri Nithyananda, you should clean up after your mess. That's good for the environment.

Wow, we see that you used the same strategy of typing our address of 'nithyananda-cult' and at the last minute you do the 'bait and switch' to 'culture'. Why isn't that using the quote one of your followers gave to the Los Angeles Times when pressed some hard questions about your cult operations?

Is our tiny little blog pressing hard questions at a real-genuine-truth-laden Paramahamsa? Nah, it couldn't be true. At least Sri Nithyananda, you chose a skin that was different than our friend Jody Radzik Guruphiliac Blog. That's an improvement. And, we see that you're not accepting any comments. That is very safe, Sri Nithyananda. But, all the viewers will think that you're not able to stand up strongly to the Truth or even defend it. They will then come to our site, and make comments about your site from our site. This attracts new viewers and adds legitimacy to our site, which is lacking in your site. So, in a way, you, Sri Nithyananda, are really helping our blog. Thanks.

Anyway, Sri Nithyananda, we think we get it now. Are you taking the strategy of hiding behind the true-and-tried method of 'Vedic Truths'? And, then hoping that some of these Vedic truths rub off on the perception of your cult? And, Sri Nithyananda, while you go 'straight-up-and-down' with some Vedic Truths of your liking, then do you make a sharp left-turn into the realms of your cult? Why isn't that bending the Vedic Truths into your direction? Could someone call that bait-and-switch, co-opting, or just plain propaganda? Sri Nithyananda, do you really think that gullible people will fall for this? Oh, we see, Sri Nithyananda, this strategy has worked for you in the past, and that by 'going straight' on some selective Truths and then turning a sharp left turn into La-La Land makes this the perfect Perpendicular Universe Blog. Potential followers think they are traveling a safe and straight path, and then swoosh a sharp left turn leaves them way out in left field.  Amazing.

Your post: Significance of Energy Beads

Our reply: Yes, you are correct there, Sri Nithyananda. Some items are able to conduct and the hold energy such as rudraksha seeds, sandalwood, tulsi (basil) seeds, silk, gold, silver, etc. Yes, that is the 'straight-up-and-down' truths that your Perpendicular Universe Blog states. We agree.

But wait, Sri Nithyananda, here comes that sharp left turn. Sri Nithyananda, what kind of energy can be held in those beads? Can a glass not hold milk, beer, or even poison? So, what type of energy is being put into your energy beads? Is this the same graveyard energy that you perform when you take your followers to midnight graveyard tours? Or the same energy you use when you do a fire ritual with red chilies, human hair, and marijuana seeds? Or is this the same energy that is being stored when someone chants one of your modified mantras where the Lord's name is replaced with your name or your name is slipped in there, giving the mantra a 'new' vibration? Sri Nithyananda, we don't know if we really want that type of energy around our necks. And, why Sri Nithyananda, such a great emphasis with the outer world? Isn't that just another form of worldly materialism? Shouldn't true seekers of the Divine just chant uncorrupted mantras and let the inner vibrations activate the divinity within them? And, come one, Sri Nithyananda, did the rishis or even Ramakrishna attach their pictures to these energy beads? Are you making your followers attached to your material body? [See your post "pt 3, Attachment to Nithyananda's Enlightenment?: Nithyananda's Ashramites & Inner-circle of Nithyananda"] Don't you know that seekers can get stuck there? Oh, we see, you want people to be stuck to your image and praying and then paying just to you. That's part of being in a cult. The personality cult of a cult guru. That sounds very familiar to Reverend Jim Jones did, and definitely something that Osho did. Why Sri Nithyananda, your following perfectly in their footsteps. Great left turn. Very sharp!

Your post: Namaste - The Vedic Greeting

Our reply: Yes, Sri Nithyananda. That was a perfectly safe 'straight-up-and-down' Truth about 'Namaste'. Folded hands and humility. We agree with you totally. Nice touch. And, you, Sri Nithyananda, sound so humble filled with humility. We agree, that those are nice traits to have especially when you want to appear to be something different than you are.

Ah Oh, here comes the sharp left turn into the Perpendicular Universe. Sri Nithyananda, do your followers greet each other with 'Namaste' or 'Namaskar'? We cannot ever recall that. Sri Nithyananda, did you teach your cult followers to say "Nithyanandam"? Is there any references of "Nithyanandam" in any of the Vedas? Why is "Nithyanandam" a totally new greeting that is unique to only you and your followers? Why, Sri Nithyananda, pardon us for being so blunt, but we smell cult. Your post: Chakras - Wheels of Energy

Our reply: Yes, Sri Nithyananda, that's a nice summary of chakras (energy centers). Your blog post is crisp, clean, and even has a nice mystic illustration. Very professional. Very straight-up-and-down Truths. But, wait, what's that at the very end? You place a link to find out more about chakras and then attend your two-day introduction program that participants can learn about chakras, meditation, and how to get hooked to you. Oh, Sri Nithyananda, we were hoping that you were not going to turn sharp left on this one. But, you did. Yes, that link doesn't just go to your Life Bliss Program, but goes right to your home page. We suppose then the unsuspecting person can really learn about what restricts chakras with greed, envy, lust, ego, fantasy, inability to accept reality, etc. Yes, your website really does make a good social laboratory. Don't worry, Sri Nithyananda, in a future post, we'll spend a whole blog post about how the 'Life Bliss Program', you know, your two-day workshop on chakras and meditation and how you then 'turn sharp left' and recruit followers from that. We hope that this is not considered fraud. Let's get on to your next blog entry, shall we?

Your post: What is the significance of Kumkum (Sacred Vermillion)?

Our reply: Yes, Sri Nithyananda, placing the kukum (red powder that has turmeric) on your forehead helps the energy flow through the agna chakra (third-eye center), and yes, that is the origin and significance of why Vedic seekers place a little bit on their agna chakra. Turmeric is a wonderful spice. Glad the Rishis discovered early on the benefits of this wonder root.

But, wait, there Sri Nithyananda, wouldn't it be even better if your followers practiced some meditation that would focus on the agna chakra? Wouldn't it be helpful if they lied down on their side and then stared through their agna charka into their upper big toe and then 'looped' this energy for 21 minutes? So, Sri Nithyananda, isn't it best to go into the inner world and not be dependent on the outer world stuff? Or, Sri Nithyananda, is it easier to peddle 'outer world' stuff? We noted, Sri Nithyananda, that someone can purchase online or at your temple your special blend of kukum, why it even comes with some wax! Why the wax, Sri Nithyananda? Oh, we get it, cult followers apply the wax first and then the kukum. That way, someone can get that huge oversized red glob of kukum right between their eyes. But, then again, with a layer of wax in between the chakra and the kumkum, does someone really get the benefit of the turmeric or is this just for show? We have to admit, Sri Nithyananda, with that huge red mark, white cloths, and energized beads that have your big smiling picture, that adds to a certain look, a certain mystique, a certain air of mystery... straight out of a cult. No chance in getting a job anywhere in the world, even Starbucks, looking like that. Oh, there's the sharp left turn. We were waiting for that.

And, Sri Nithyananda, on this blog post you mentioned:

"When this chakra is blocked, one sees the world through a mask of his/her own ideas and conditionings (this mask is called ego). This stops them from seeing things the way they are. Flowering of the agna chakra refers to the process of waking up to the reality, breaking from the clutches of ego, enlightenment."

We have to admire your sense of reality there down in the fantasy-filled world of La-La Land at your ashrams. Where else can followers disown their family, end their careers, quit their education, give up their savings, change their name and identity, farm off their kids, divorce their spouse? Wow, all this happens when someone moves into the ashram and has all that social conditioning removed. So, Sri Nithyananda, if anyone wants all of this, then all they need to do is just place some kukum on their agna chakras and hang out at one of your temples or ashrams? And, yes, in no time at all, the transformation will simply just blossom? Brilliant, there Sri Nithyananda. You're sharp. Sharp left turn that is.

Your post: Fasting - a Healthy Practice

Our reply: Yes, there, Sri Nithyananda, you're right again. Straight-up-and-down. Fasting twice a month is common practice in Vedic culture and has certain benefits. We notice that you like to choose Pradosham, but other common days include Ekadasi, full and new moons, etc. And, giving a seeker's tummy a chance to rest helps clean the system and allows energy to be given to other parts of the being. Spot on.

Speaking of healthy practices, Sri Nithyananda, do you allow your followers a chance to rest properly? You know, get six or perhaps six and a half hours and sometimes maybe even seven-hours of sleep? Sri Nithyananda, do you know the ill effects of sleep deprivation? Of course you do, we covered these topics with your parallel universe blog twice now. You can read them again at "Nithyananda Starts a New Parallel Universe Blog = Fantasy Land" and "Nithyananda's Parallel Universe is Ignorant, Therefore Not Bliss".

But, since you seem a little slow, there, Sri Nithyananda, we'll quickly review some of the ill effects of sleep deprivation. Did you know, Sri Nithyananda, that according to Wikipedia, sleep deprivation can cause mental instability, irritability, cognitive impairment, memory lapses or loss, impaired moral judgment, hallucinations, ADHD symptoms, impaired immune system, risk of Type 2 diabetes, increased heart rates, risk of heart disease, decreased reaction time and accuracy, tremors, aches, growth suppression, risk of obesity, decreased temperature. Why Wikipeida even has a cute little image to illustrate these facts.

Sri Nithyananda, is the fact that sleep deprivation in your ashram one of the reasons why some of the ashramites put on so much weight? Is this the type of spiritual 'experience' that you provide them such as hallucinations and impaired moral judgment?

And, did you know, Sri Nithyananda, in laboratory animals, sleep deprivation can cause death? Do you still say that your ashrams are laboratories for the spiritual world? What will happen, Sri Nithyananda, if someone died in your ashram due to sleep deprivation? Will you make a second corrupted holiday called Maha Parinirvana Day 2.0?

And, Sri Nithyananda, did you read the portion about sleep deprivation being a form of torture? With mental instability? Lucky thing for your ashramites that they are with a genuine Paramahamsa who considers himself bigger and badder than Ramakrishna, Ammachi, Swami Vivekananda, and perhaps even Jesus Himself. Otherwise, your sleep deprived followers, under the wrong guidance, could be exploited. Criminal.  Wouldn't it be disappointing to hear that your ashramites were sleep deprived and also starved?  What next, a bed of nails?

So, back to the fasting twice a month, Sri Nithyananda, do you really think the benefits from fasting make up for all of the losses from sleep deprivation? We hate to say this, Sri Nithyananda, but we think that the benefits from fasting after you sleep deprived all your followers is like putting icing on some cardboard and then trying to pass it off as cake.  Yes, that sharp left turn of yours takes the cake!

Although we must confess, that it could perhaps look rather tasty for anyone who didn't know what is really going on underneath all that icing. Sri Nithyananda, you're not just all about appearance and setting some impression, are you?

Follow your dharma. Use your common sense. Listen to your inner-conscience, and follow the Truth. Come out of this trap, and escape from this fraudulent cult.
