With all those bright lights and onlookers, you just go out of your way to radiate compassion. No wonder you're so successful. Sri Nithyananda, is there a price for this success? "I make everyone pay. Is that what you mean my price?" Well, actually no, there, ah, Sri Nithyananda. That is not what we meant, but wow, that was a great self-disclosure. In fact, someone from Toronto just emailed us this story about you earlier today. Here, have a look:

A sweet story of compassion from so called Nithyananda monks oh sorry monkeys..

During his first visit to toronto there is a family who has a small little cute boy with life threatening cancer. Volunteers in toronto tried best to accomodate them for free for kalpataru programme as they did not have any money left and belonged to poor family. They had immense faith in Masters and that turned them to put a request to nithyananda organisation. Mr Bhaktananda...famously called as " ROWDY SWAMI" denied entry and finally the family with other volunteers help had to borrow money and let the family in for just a 2 second darshan. The boy could not sit for the whole day...and what the family just asked for two second darshan for free.....But The so called compassionate monks..oh again sorry monkeys charged 200.00$ for a 2 second darshan....IS THIS COMPASSION FOR NITHYANANDA ORGANISATION. The monks including Bhaktananda are monsters who only talk about money in each meeting, they are concerned about only numbers how much people paid for programmes. Rightly They are called as "ROWDY SWAMIS".

Please stay away from this rowdy swamis.....

Well, Sri Nithyananda, what do you have to say about that? "I wasn't aware." What? You, Sri Nithyananda, were not aware? Don't you give the impression that you know everything about everyone at every single moment? That all your minions wouldn't even think about killing a spider unless they have your approval (actual story)? So, how can you say that you, Sri Nithyananda, didn't know? Don't say that it was their 'karma'; you said yourself that an 'enlightened' healing master can change someone's karma just be moving his or her foot. We agree. We seen you change someone's karma just by moving your foot. Being kicked, and by such a stinky foot as yours, is not what we consider good karma, but it does change someone's karma. But, we digress. Sri Nithyananda, somehow we are not surprised by this antic, but are still sadden. It shows that you, Sri Nithyananda, have all the compassion of a sex starved boa constrictor.

You seem to want to squeeze the last drop of money, time, or life-force from everyone. Very cold-blooded indeed.  When will this nonsense stop?

Follow your dharma. Use your common sense. Listen to your inner-conscience, and follow the Truth. Come out of this trap, and escape from this fraudulent cult.

Hi there Paramahamasa Nithyananda. I see that your Parallel Universe of fantasy blogging continues to ignore reality with your latest post title "Ignorance is Not Bliss". We just wanted to have our five very simple questions about your life story answered that should be so easy for someone like you to answer in less than three minutes. [new to this blog?, please see post "Do the Math - Nithyananda's Enlightenment Timeline Doesn't Add Up"] But, oh, did you do this? "I don't know what those bloggers did." Nice try there, Sri Nithyananda. We know that nothing happens unless you give the orders directly from you to do so including filing false allegations accusing others of crimes they never did. Did you know, Sri Nithyananda, that if called to court, your little prank could earn your programmed liars many years in a federal prison? I'm sure you would make time in your busy schedule to come and visit them, because you have so much compassion. Perhaps the Anna Datta (head chef) is perfecting the art of cooking files into cakes right now.

Anyway, we really are not interested in your worthless threats. We are interested in our five questions:

1. What was the exact day, time, and year you, Sri Nithyananda, were born?
2. When did you finish your public education, e.g. Senior Secondary School (i.w. high school), Standards IX to XII? What year, what grade level, and how old were you?
3. What years (from when to when) did you attend the three-year polytechnic in Engineering? Did you graduate?
4. When did you leave home to start your nine-years of wandering? How old were you and what year was that?
5. Where (exact place) did you reach your final stage of enlightenment that you claimed happened on January 1, 2000?

Sorry for all of the repetition. Sometimes it takes several times before those who reside in the parallel universe of La-La Land can begin to see reality. There is hope though, if they stand on their heads and talk backwards, there's a chance that Truths can begin to seek in. That might be too much to ask for. Oh, by the way, our readers to have some additional questions asked. You will probably ignore these too, because they might upset your La-La Land tranquility. But, there just might be the chance that you're standing on your head now, so here's our reader's choice:

• How much money was colleted and what are the plans for the Shiva Lingas that were to be placed around your Vedic Temple in Montclair?

And, from Canada, we have some specific questions about stuff you, Sri Nithyananda, promised, collected, and never delivered:

1. Why money is collected in name of programmes called Nithyananda Youth Foundation when there is no such charitable organisation in Canada?
2. What is the a/c number and in which bank they have openend a/c for temple project?
3. What is the amount collected?
4. What is the blue print of the temple?
5. Where is the land in which temple is being built?

You see, Sri Nithyananda, the problem is this. If you're going to take the strategy of hiding behind Vedic Culture and build big, beautiful temples, with big, big, big deities, that's fine. And, if people can see you do that, it will be easier to cheat them, because they think you, Sri Nithyananda, are some big Holy man who would never do anything bad at all. But, your strategy can also backfires when you don't fulfill all of your promises or any of your promises at all. You see, these people believe in God much more than they believe in a con artist. And, when they feel that you cheated them via God or cheated God directly via them, wow, Sri Nithyananda, you might not get any Divali cards from them next year.

So, Sri Nithyananda, we know that you most likely hijacked all of their money and funneled it back to your ashram in India where you started all those big infrastructure projects like that big stadium. But, we thought we should ask you the readers' questions, just in case you were standing on your head.

For our Canadian readers, do not be discouraged. Luckily, you live in a free society that will not believe all the propaganda that Sri Nithyananda is 'enlightened' and that his word is divine. They will ask for proof, and if he fails, then Sri Nithyananda will be stuck in the center of trouble bubble. A good place to start asking the Canadian Government is the Canadian Revenue Agency. Even though Sri Nithyananda's bloggers missed a chance to answer our five easy questions, and therefore, make themselves look like they are trying to cover something up that you, Sri Nithyananda, dug yourself into. (For those of you new to these posts, read: Do the Math - Nithyananda's Enlightenment Timeline Doesn't Add Up and then our new readers will know why we want these five questions asked.)

OK, we'll answer your post, Sri Nithyananda, this time. But you need to answer our five questions next time.

Let's see, on your post, 'IGNORANCE IS NOT BLISS' (love those CAPS). Yes, Sri Nithyanada, we agree with you. Keeping people ignorant about all the money you collected and not letting them know what happpened is neither blissful to the people you cheated or is it blissful to you, and perhaps it isn't even blissful to the IRS or Canadian Revenue Agency. Your blogger accuses us of filtering everything out. We post most of what we receive. If we don't agree, we usually have our rebuttal ready and then we post both together. Seeing how you have not posted a single comment, let me repeat, you have posted ZERO (0) comments, we're a bit surprised that your blogger could even mention this point. But, then again, when someone thinks that they are 'enlightened' and is following the orders of a self-proclaimed god, they are set up for all kinds of distortions.

Let's take a look at your blogger's post.  Hmmm, we see that there is anger, issues, and dirty words. Yes, we heard this before from your blogger. More of the same. We get the ancient customs of dharma (righteousness), so your attempts to divide and rule fail again. If you're really interested in a lawsuit, please call us to court, and we'll tell everything we know including names, places, and activities. This is includes what you consider the sex crimes. We'll let the court decide. We will also file charges too. So, it could be very 'enlightening' process. We are ready. Just be sure your allegations have some merit, for if we can prove your side is lying about some serious stuff, the U.S. courts will not be amused. Let's leave it at that.

We see that your blogger did address your birth date as best as he or she could, and said:

"You ask specific questions about his birthday! Who do you think you are? What time were you born? Most of us don’t have a clue. It’s hard to get these records in America and in India, well Good Luck! Such minutia is just not important in India, hence the cultural difference. How Indians perceive things are different."

More divide and rule, Sri Nithyananda. We think that you, being an 'enlightened' healing master, could come up with a better way of skirting the issue. You provide conflicting times in your books, and must have had the time for your astrological reading that you brag so much about. But, Sri Nithyananda, we know that you know, and we'll keep on asking.

Then there's more of the same about justifying your overpriced programs and that it really is a bargain since the facilities received would have cost that much in the US. So, Sri Nithyananda, are you providing these people with a nice 3/2 bungalow? Are you familiar with anything called, Purchasing Power Index (PPI)? Yes, Sri Nithyananda, it would be nice to live in India and get paid in America. We think that you must have figured out how to do that. Genius.  It must be a comfy stay in the center of La-La Land.

Once again, there's more of the same about the lack of sleep. Sri Nithyananda, your blogger mentions one study that says that it is a good thing not to have not much sleep. Your blogger goes on about his or her personal life and say, and that he or she feels great with just five-hours of sleep. Fine, Sri Nithyananda. We're glad your blogger feels fine with just five-hours of sleep. Sometimes that's all we get too. Some people need more sleep than that, and they should have the opportunity to have that sleep.  Your blogger mentioned that 6.5 to 7 hours-of-sleep is healthy.  Yes, let them have that, nightly.

We have big problems when you, Sri Nithyananda, have your ashramites work late into the night or keep them with your long and pointless meetings and then expect them to be bathed and meditating a few hours later while you sleep-in in the mornings like a baby. Didn't you, Sri Nithyananda, once make your ashramites in India go without sleep for two weeks while you jolted to the U.S. in August 2006? Our informants told us that you, Sri Nithyananda, gave your ashramites an incredible amount of work to do, and told them they can only sleep sitting up right in their chairs or at right at their work stations, not in their bunk-beds? Wow, Sri Nithyananda, you sure do know how to get the most out of your workers. Have you ever thought about running human productivity seminars for 'enlightened' dictators?

Just so that you are aware, Sri Nithyananda, there's plenty of studies that show that less than six-hours of sleep is bad for you. Here's one done by Stanford University:

Sri Nithyananda, you don't treat your ashramites like animals, do you? Are you sure you don't treat most of them like donkeys and a special few like fluffy little bunny rabbits?

The real point of mentioning the amount of sleep and lack of it is the psychological damage that sleep deprivation can cause.  This is no minor point.  Just look. Google has over 40,000 listings for the key words, "sleep deprivation brainwashing"

Sri Nithyananda, all this talk about sleep deprivation is getting tired. Let's just agree to disagree, and if anyone dies or becomes mentally unstable as a result of your 'meditative' sleep deprivation, you, Sri Nithyananda, are on your own. We are glad that you, Sri Nithyananda, a self-proclaimed Paramahamsa, already have a lawyer.

Spot on. Yes, that's life in your parallel universe. And, about that steamy topic about sex in the Ashram, (Hey, Sri Nithyananda, you can make a great TV series out of that, and once again raise some money for your charity.  You do love to practice charity, right?  Say, is Charity your new room service girl?) Once again, if we're called to court, under oath and penalty of perjury, we'll tell everything we seen and know with names, dates, and details. We do know that you, Sri Nithyananda, model your ashram after Osho (Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh), and we all know what he stood for. The only difference between you and him is that you layered your model with a veneer of holy dhoti cloth. But underneath it all, same thing going on.

OK, Sri Nithyananda, in your blog's next post, try to answer those five, simple chronological questions. Otherwise, we're going to have a really easy time making fun of you. Not that we have to make any effort as it is now.

Wow, Paramahamsa Nithyananda, do you believe in parallel universes? You know, Sri Nithyananda, just like the sci-fi horror movies where something is truthful exists in the real world but in a parallel plane it becomes lies? Where something that express dharma (righteousness) becomes adharma (unrighteousness)? Where something is based on reality becomes garnished in La-La Land fantasy? Where something that was light and humorous becomes heavy and dull? Where something is written respectfully becomes caste as 'filthy'? "You should never question an 'enlightened' healing master. We work on a different plane." Yes, we agree, with you Sri Nithyananda. You work on different planes. In fact, here's the proof. As everyone knows, our blog is:

OK, Sri Nithyananda, we accept that copying is the most sincere form of flattery, and we now officially feel flattered that you took the time and resources to help counter the influences that our blogs have caused and officially recognized that we have some serious questions and they need to be answered. So, could you, Sri Nithyananda, please answer these simple questions on your parallel universe blog so that we all have a very good idea where you stand and we no longer can guess or speculate? Don't worry, there just simple chronological questions with no tricks up our sleeves, promise. Can you, Sri Nithyananda, and your dedicated blogging team answer these questions:

Sri Nithyananda, answer these questions will be very helpful. We already mentioned some of these issues in a previous post on October 28, 2009, "Do the Math - Nithyananda's Enlightenment Timeline Doesn't Add Up", and well, we know that all true Paramahamsas are embedded in the Truth, so now that you have an official blog to voice your views on our blog, we would like to see a post address these specific, chronological questions. That shouldn't be too hard, unless of course you lied, and then you wouldn't be a true Paramahamsa that can charge all those outrageous prices for your workshop seminars. So, by answering these questions, Sri Nithyananda, your validity and marketing get a boost. And, if we're wrong with any of these calculations, we'll say, "Sorry." Promise.

And, Sri Nithyananda, could you please include the exact time of your birth? We're a bit confused. In your book, The Formless in Form, page 5, you wrote that you were born on 12:32 a.m., January 1, 1978. But in your other book, Glimpses of My Master, Nithyananda, first 'first' (original) edition December 2005 on pages 87-91 that you were born on January 1, 1978 at 0:30 (12:30 a.m.). I know, Sri Nithyananda, we're splitting hairs over just two measly minutes. But, why we really want to know the exact time of your birthday is that we can replicate that astrology chart that you said was done when the astrologers refunded all that cash to your family because they predicted that you would be a bona-fide sanyasi (monk). Since you didn't display this chart anywhere, like the Ramakrishna Mission displays Paramahamsa Ramakrishna and Swami Vivekananda's astrological chart, we thought we could do the same. That way if anyone had any questions, you could just add a link to our blog and then all their answers about whether or not you were 'the real McCoy' of a Paramahamas would be answered.

OK, Sri Nithyananda, we wait for your replies. In the meantime, we thought we would do a trans-cultural exchange and comment on your commentaries. Don't worry, Sri Nithyananda, we'll give you lots of back links that will help you in your search engine ratings.

Your post: Work IS meditation. Some don't get it!

Our reply: Well, we see that your blogger dude didn't add quote marks around his "a***"stericks, so we accept that we never said anything in that way. Well, thanks for letting us all know how you sell the fact that your slaves are really meditating and not just working all the time. You said that "I am surprised you call yourself an insider and are not aware of the daily meditation, yoga, puja/homa, chanting that all ashramites do." Yes, we are aware. In your LA ashram, not much happening except for work, work, work, and the person that had to start the sparsely attended 'guru pooja' in the morning. In the evening, some will make time (or actually have enough time in their busy schedule) to catch the Nithyananda version of arti at the Montclair Vedic Temple. Our insider experience in Bidadi Ashram, the morning version is usually well attended since there were coupons handed out for attendance. If someone missed the morning Nithya Dhyan Meditation in the morning, then that person got no lunch. Kind of reminded us of pigeons pecking for pellets in an animal experiment. We don't know if this practice is still continued or not.

And, yes, we agree, coming to the Ashram as an ashramite is hard work. Don't expect much sleep. We personally know people who didn't sleep for days at the ashram and one contact even fell asleep while driving the big Nithyananda commercial truck. Luckily, there were not accidents. That could have been the ultimate samadhi for many people.

Your concept of "Work is Meditation" (which we assume you also communicate that work brings 'enlightenment') reminded us of this statement:

Arbeit macht frei

is a German phrase meaning "work brings freedom".  Yes, this statement was adorned on the Nazi Germany concentration camps. Our history books said that era also focused around a charismatic leader who liked to censor any criticism about himself.

And, all of that work being done all of the time without proper rest if done under the wrong leadership, would cause some serious brainwashing. This is the techniques used in lot of cults including Jonestown, Osho, the Mason Family, Shining Path, etc. Why wasn't sleep deprivation one of the techniques that the CIA was using on 'high quality' suspects in Guantanamo that was questioned if it was deemed as torture or not? So, we hope that Sri Nithyananda really has it right and monitors all those ashramites so they do not become mentally instable.

Anyway, I'm glad your blogger was able to write some nice things about getting rid of the fatigue layer by lack of sleep and working, working, working away. I just wander if all that work really is meditation and if they are really doing all of those other things, then why did so many of the ashramites get so bulky? We also have accounts of 'enlightened' followers threatening suicide. That doesn't sound very good to me. But, we're open to your points.

Your post: Incorrect information about Sanyasis on nithyananda-cult.blogspot.com

Our reply: Yes, we took an educated guess of the total of people who were ordained 'sanyasi - first level', you know, the folks wearing orange kavi (strip of holy cloth) cloth. We know that through the years there's been a lot of followers who were ordained on this level and then thought that Sri Nithyananda's brand of 'enlightenment' wasn't for them, so they left. This was particularly true in Nithyananda’s Bidadi Ashram. At one point, Sri Nithyananda got tired of the defection rate, so he made those 'ordained' sanysin (monk) go through a trial basis where they wore yellow (not saffron) kavi (strip of holy cloth) until they were officially 'ordained' and looked like they would stick around.

Some orders like the Ramakrishna Mission usually waits six to eight years before initiating someone into sanyasi (monk), for they want to make sure what person they get. Sri Nithyananda, a man in a hurry, ordained many, and some have actually stayed. Since we don't have access to the Nithyananda Foundation's statistics, we'll gladly post the number of people you want to give us as those who were officially ordained as 'sanysis' (monks). We honestly don't care. Our point then and our point now is that most of these people who were ordained were not qualified due to being married and other society obligations. In LA, there were several married couples that have been separated due to sanyasi (monk) initiation. Some seem very happy with the arrangements, others do not. In one occasion in July 2006, Sri Nithyananda pitted off one spouse against the other during the sanyasi initiation. One spouse wanted to become a senyasi (monk) the other wanted to remain a family life. In front of everyone, Sri Nithyananda constantly questioned the 'hold out' person whether it was 'Yes' or 'No' for that person's spouse to become a sanyasi (monk). If that person answered with 'Yes' there went the family. If that person answered with 'No' then the spouse would be non-forgiving. It was the most 'unspiritual' manipulation demonstration that Sri Nithyananda was abusing his powers and breaking up families. Regardless, we feel that it is wrong to break up families, but we cannot stop you. We'll just point it out, and express our opinion.

Your post: One common question: Why are the courses so highly priced?

Our reply: Your prices seem to be a bit distorted. We don't know how much your charging for the Life Bliss Program these days. At one point, it was $250.00 for the two-day program. Now, you say, "$100.00". OK, we'll accept that. We knew that in 2008 that in the Montclair Vedic Temple that Life Bliss Programs that charged $250.00 were only receiving a few (average around seven) participants. The market did not support the Life Bliss Program at $250.00, so if you dropped the price to $100.00 for the two-day program, that makes sense. After all, this is your 'feeder' introduction program, so it makes sense to do it at a lower costs. The most recent offering of the one-day Kalpataru Program in the U.S. was at $250.00 up from $150.00 which you quoted. That's a huge distortion. Will you then be offering a $100 refund to everyone who paid $250 for this program? That seems fair for over charging the participants. Your figures for accommodations of $60.00 per day is slightly out-of-alignment. If that was a decent hotel room, that would be fair. In actuality, a hanger-sized room of wall-to-wall bunk beds is a human fire hazard masquerading as a 'dorm'. Overcrowded prisons are not that bad. We hope that there are no casualties. The other cost-break-down seems just as distorted. Sri Nithyananda is not operating these courses at a loss. The big pay-off comes when people pledge a yearly 'donation' of ten percent of their gross income. We know that there's a lot of pressure to commit to that at the end of the program. And, the tours conducted, does that include the world famous 'graveyard' tour? We still feel that this is overpriced and just shows the lack of transparency that Nithyananda's organization has.

Your post: Nithyananda Cult Blog - Total Nonsense!

Our reply: My, oh, my. There is a tone on this post. Yikes. That blogger must have not had enough work, we mean meditation, that day. You say that we use 'filthy' language, but we see the 'cr@p' word. Perhaps you meant to write 'carp'? Because something sure smells fishy with Sri Nithyananda's operations. We guess when all else fails, try to discredit the Truths by character assault. Holy red herring. (Another fishy aspect.)

The blooger dude's comments show the commitment to this cult, and we'll respect that as much as we can. We just want to say that we have several contributors who were 'insiders' and know refute these claims. Could we please ask where are the funds for the Shiva Lingams that were promised and people contributed real money towards? And, yes, there's all kinds of pressure to change someone's name to the Nithyananda name especially if someone lives in the ashram. We have in our inbox the ultimatum that anyone receiving a Nithyananda name must change it legally within three months and show proof of this legal change or else the Nithyananda Foundation will take away the name. Just a reminder, six of the original twenty-five 'enlightened' followers have left Sri Nithyananda and no longer think his 'enlightenment' is worthy of his certification. We do give credit to Sri Nithyananda's marketing arm making something so horrible look almost attractive on paper. Bill Gates would be jealous. Oh, yes, the blogger dude wrote, "What's your problem whether he sits on a 24K gold throne or a diamond studded one? What do you know about the rich Vedic tradition...?" Yes, we all know which one of the two words "rich Vedic" Sri Nithyananda has emphasized.

Our reply: Well, it is interesting that you can bring up images of followers under Sri Nithyananda's leadership back to a more simpler and happier lifestyle of people like the Sherpas in Nepal, and the Inuit in Greenland and the Northern Canada. I admit that I do not know much about the Sherpas in Nepal, but I do know that the Divine Mother is big in Nepal, so perhaps She is looking after them and that they are genuinely happy. Perhaps it might be helpful if the blogger talked to Sri Nithyananda Dheera, who we have a lot of respect for. Sri Nithyananda Dheera lived with the Inuit and has some great stories of Inuit domestic violence and alcoholism. Sri Dheera witnessed one the son chasing the elderly parents with a knife in a slow motion-drunken-stupor while threatening to kill them. Regardless, anytime an organization tries to 'bring back' the values of a ‘golden age’ or an utopian society, we smell cult. This is exactly what Jonestown claimed to be doing, and we all know how that ended. Regardless, we appreciate your engaging tone, and we feel that we could better explain why Nithyananda and his organizations is a cult. We look forward to debating this with more depth.

Your post: The futile exercise of judging masters

Our reply: Yes, we are in agreement. It is a futile exercise of judging True masters, and true dharmic practice to expose fake maters who are not only diluting / hijacking the work of True masters, but causing so much pain of breaking up families, robbing people of their idenities, ending careers, causing divorces and separations, swindling people of their savings, etc., and offering preciously little in return, e.g. fake promise for enlightenment.  Understand, this is not spirituality.  This is fraud. Although there are current masters that we don't agree with 100 percent, we don't allow comments that judge these spiritual people. We see that these masters are offering good to society, and we'll just 'let them be'. But those that operate out of deceit and cheat people, we will expose. Just like calling out a wolf in sheep's clothing, Sri Nithyananda and his cult practices need to be exposed. Innocent sheep are being slaughtered and scattered. The work of Sri Nithyananda is not Divine and awareness needs to proliferate before more victims fall into his trap.

I have been following your posts for sometime. I must say that you give the impression of being an ex-"insider" who knows more than he is saying. Be that as it may, I do not find any solid evidence of any kind to back up your contentions being put forward, and your conclusions appear to be contirived. I have been a devotee of the mission for the last 5 years and have never seen the kind of abuse and tyranny you speak of. The volunteers at Bidadi and LA whom I met (and continue to meet) are happy. Some amount of disciplining and harshness is part of the Guru-Shiksha parampara, maybe you should not over-stress it without specific evidence. In any case, a sadhna or spiritual journey is undertaken by each one for his own development, be it linked to empire or not. If people find the benefits coming to them, they stay, otherwise they leave. Its like the lamp that lights your path on a dark night. What do you see? the lamp (its colour, make etc) or the path? What do you respect more - the lamp or its light? Nithyananda has always said that if you have found your inner Guru, by all means follow him and go beyond the form of the Master. I do not want to get into involved spiritual wranglings. The truth he expounds is part of ancient wisdom, he is a powerful catalyst who can makes its relevance apparent to each one. Does it really matter who said it first - he or Osho or Ramakrishna or whoever? Don't we need only the light?

I don not know if you will publish this. Its my hope that you will...

Thanks anonymous for the post titled “What Fraud?”. We appreciate your seeking to understand and openness of dialog, and we will certain try to reply with the same respect that you have shown for us. We are glad that you are happy, and we acknowledge that you see others being happy and involved with Nithyananda’s order. We also recognize your point that it doesn’t really matter where someone gets their spiritual ‘nourishment’, whether that be from whole wheat bread or dahl (lentils), as long as they are able to grow. Yes, on one surface, we have to agree that it seems not worthy of disturbing happy people who are getting, as it seems, spiritual growth. If Sri Nithyananda were a spiritual teacher that taught with some purity, then we would wholeheartedly agree. We would close up shop and never bother with this blog. Even if there were points that we disagreed with that Sri Nithyananda did, as long as he held up the basic tenants of dharma (righteousness), we would recognize his grace and only receive our support.

Yes, you are right, we are insiders, and there are several of us. We came to Sri Nithyananda with trust, and to use your analogy, we have no issue with the lamp. But, we do have issue with the light that illuminates from this lamp. Instead of pure light, we found poisons gas, and therefore, we feel we must warn others and try to get those that are near this dangerous ‘light’ away. Yes, this does not make us very popular with those that under the ‘bliss’ of this lamp. At the end, it will be their choice to experience this deadly ‘light’ or not, but at least they can base their decisions after from hearing our findings, as unpleasant as it might seem to them at first.

To address some of your points, yes, we agree this statement:

And, that has happened. Already six of the twenty-five followers who received Nithyananda’s first batch of ‘mass enlightenment’ have woken up and left. As the light of Truth hits the collective years of programming combined with the loyalty these followers shown by ‘donating’ their savings and years of service, there will be conflict. Their minds were in comfort zones, and now they are being questioned. This is true ‘churning’, and it is not just some humiliation that needs to be ‘swallowed’ as ego submission to the master. This struggle is their very beings fighting for existence.

The subject of your message was “What Fraud?”. Although we feel that we have been very clear in our past blogs, we welcome the chance to highlight what we consider to be fraud that Sri Nithyananda has done. First, we feel that Sri Nithyananda by borrowing other people’s works and claiming them as his own violates a standard of ethics. A true enlightened master would never plagiarize. There’s a red flag right there. Then, Sri Nithyananda uses his claim that he has ‘written’ all of these truths as a way to strengthen his claim that he is indeed enlightened. Red flag number two. This is much like the way that Sri Nithyananda has embellished his stories about himself, which we feel most if not all are fabricated. Red flag number three. The easiest ‘story’ to prove as being false is Sri Nithyananda’s claim of wandering for the nine-years that supposedly happen from 1995 to the January 1, 2000.

In defense of Sri Nithyananda’s claim for these nine years, one of his supporters commented in the Guruphiliac Forum, that Sri Nithyananda actually ‘wandered’ from 1994 to 2003, to account for the nine years. Well, if Sri Nithyananda’s wandering included ‘obtaining’ enlightenment, settling in his body in a cave for nine months, setting up his first ashram by the Kaveri River, moving his ashram to Bidadi, and in July 2003, arriving to the U.S. This just does not add up. We have sincere doubt to all of other Nithyananda stories, which include but not limited to carving a statue of Osho as his first act of enlightenment, graduating from a polytechnic school, his 360 degree meditation experience which still allows him to see from behind, etc. We really would like to believe Sri Nithyananda, but sadly, none of these stories make logical sense, and Sri Nithyananda’s validity of being grounded in sathya (truthfulness) is deeply in question.

Going back to Sri Nithyananda’s borrowed teachings, we also found a common trend of all of these ‘Truths’ to have certain embellishments added to them. Red flag number four. These embellishments consist of self-serving themes such as ‘only an enlightened master (him) can lead you to enlightenment’, ‘true devotion an the enlightened master will lead you to see a white bird as being black’ (ironically this seems very true to what actually does happen under Nithyananda’s sway), ‘never questioning anything about an enlightened master’, and ‘unclutching from all social relationships, careers, and families and then aligning oneself to the master’. If Sri Nithyananda was a software company, he would copy another company’s product and then add his own virus to it, and then sell it as his ‘own brand’. You might say that these Truths are universal and could be shared. That is a point. Mind you that other spiritual missions, in order to keep the knowledge of their past masters alive, need the revenues from the sale of these ideas, which Sri Nithyananda, has borrowed almost line-for-line.  So, it could be said that Sri Nithyananda is draining these masters' resources. In addition, it seems that Sri Nithyananda does not use these Truths to help people grow, but uses them to ‘capture’ new recruits for either financial contributions or labor. We find this very troubling.

We also found that Sri Nithyananda claims that he can give mass ‘enlightenment’ and gladly sells that to his ‘devout’ followers through a series of expensive programs. Yes, we would all love to be enlightened. No doubt. Troubling to see that six of the first twenty-five close followers that Sri Nithyananda made ‘enlightened’ have left him for they no longer claim that Sri Nithyananda’s certificate of enlightenment was valid. The remaining 19 followers seem to have worldly problems or at the very least have symptoms of worldly problems. Red flag number five. Selling mass ‘enlightenment’ that is not valid.

Another deeply troubling aspect of Sri Nithyananda seems to be the source of his siddhis (powers). There have been countless stories of ghosts and preciously few stories involving divine deities. Placing non-sattvic (non-pure) items in fire rituals such as human hair, marijuana seeds, and red chilies also points to a less than pure divine practice. Leading followers in cemetery tours late at night makes, in our opinion, no doubt that Sri Nithyananda’s source of power is from the graveyard and not from the Divine. Red flag number six. So, what can someone do with all this power? Masquerading dark forces as a Divine presence will have huge karma. Sri Nithyananda might be able to give lots of people very ‘unique’ experiences, which might lead them to believe that Sri Nithyananda really is that ‘divine’ force. This is sad, and we’ll call it fraud. It is our collective experience that Sri Nithyananda’s practices leads to a ‘solid’ and ‘real’ experiences of something that is beyond logic, but results in absolutely no knowledge. This is akin to ‘feel good’ and ‘hallucinogenic’, but zero growth. Even more troubling is that Sri Nithyananda seems to cultivate 'loyalty' and 'gratitude' upon peole who have experienced his sidhis (powers). Addiction to these types of experiences are a disaster to spiritual growth and adds dependency to his followers on Sri Nithyananda.

This source of his siddhis (powers) ties directly into the claims that Sri Nithyananda has made about being God himself. Since he practices graveyard spirituality, how can he possibly claim that he is (or was once) 1. Lord Krishna, 2. Devi Meenakshi, 3. Lord Subramaniam, 4. Lord Ayyappa, 5. Lord Shiva, etc.? How can Sri Nithyananda justify replacing Lord Shiva’s name with his name in holy mantras? We feel that this is Divine identify theft and is red flag number seven.

Similarly, who could doubt that healing practices are not something good? After hearing stories about Sri Nithyananda healed his back after breaking it on a truck ride, etc., who wouldn’t want to reach out and be healed of all those diseases we carry or have our love ones healed? Unfortunately, we have experienced first-hand plenty of times Sri Nithyananda's healing did not work. Even more damaging were his excuses that followed. Marketing himself as an enlightened healing master is at best questionable. We consider this red flag number eight.

Then, there seems to be practices of Sri Nithyananda that nicely fit in the realms of a cult and certainly not in Vedic traditions. These include sleep deprivation, public humiliation, required legal name changes, etc. These collectively break down a follower’s free will and mind to become submissively subservient only to Sri Nithyananda. In addition, we have witnessed his techniques to break up families and play people off against each other. These divisive methods of achieving ‘spiritual growth’ and label it as ‘churning’ or ‘master is working on you’ is manipulative, and these practices are as far away from anything that resembles spirituality as we know it. Sri Nithyananda tricks people into thinking that they are getting spirituality, but instead they get a cult. We consider that fraud. That is red flag number nine.

One of the most quick and effective ways to break up families, replace people’s identity, obtain their savings, and indenture their services, skills, labor, and lives in one clean swoop is to give them sanyasi (monk) initiation. Sri Nithyananda has given out perhaps hundreds of sanyasi (monk) initiations to people who are not qualified for it or have obligations in this world that would preclude them from this practice. To a true enlightened master, giving out sanyasi initiation is no joke; it requires dedication of the master’s life in this life and beyond. Sincere masters often wait years to ensure that the person is qualified and has no other conflicting obligations. To Sri Nithyananda, giving sanyasis initiation it seems to be one more mass method of as an ‘end’ to achieve his ‘means’. Red flag number ten.

Finally, we have seen Sri Nithyananda’s other side. His private side. Yes, in public, Sri Nithyananda talks a very good talk, and seems convincing with his sincerity. In private, however, we have found a very different man. There seems to a strong inclination towards power (wanting to have his own country, as an example), strong desires for wealth, especially gold, and a flair for the private company of attractive ladies. If Sri Nithyananda markets himself as a renunciate, celibate monk, and holy man that is above all these worldly trappings and worthy of being declared as God himself, then it is with great sadness and deceit that the true nature of Sri Nithyananda has been revealed. Red flag number eleven.

To recap, we find all of these red flags (and we’re sure that there are more that our readers will add to this already lengthy list) to point toward a massive, well planned, and organized fraud. Be very clear, Sri Nithyananda’s followers do not benefit spiritually. Sri Nithyananda gains all the worldly benefits and everyone collects huge karma from such a scheme. Such acts gives a bad name to spirituality and tarnishes the hard work of real masters.

Now, some of you might think that if the Sri Nithyananda’s followers are happy to be part of such a scheme, then we should just leave things alone, and let Sri Nithyananda do what we feel is fraud without bothering anyone. That would be easy, and we would have probably experience more personal productivity than bothering to point all these inconveniences out. Yet, we cannot do this. To see what we consider as flagrant fraud, and to turn our backs and look the other way, is not in accordance to dharma. This is much like ignoring the crimes of a drug dealer. The drug dealer has a similar product and people have seemingly ‘good’ experiences from the dealers products, so why not? Well, when others get pulled in and when anyone tries to quit the addiction, they find themselves sadly robbed of everything, their lives, health, money, careers, families, everything. We feel that this is wrong, and we will not tolerate it. Yes, this is what fraud is and what it does, and we are quite convinced that Sri Nithyananda is guilty of this crime. We hope that he stops committing this fraud and starts a vitreous life and inspires others do to the same.

We hope that you now have a better understanding of why we are building awareness to what we perceive as a huge problem.

Part 1: Reporting Nithyananda's Fraud to the FBI & IRS

Paramahamsa Nithyananda, didn't you just make some big legal threat against someone, but haven't followed up yet? Did you forget to pay the piper? After all, you have all that money. How much could the services of a piper cost? "Aaarrrrrugh." Oh, I see, my Gruntanese translator said that you're thoroughly  annoyed right now. Sri Nithyananda, we would like to enlighten you about... "AAARRRRRUGH!!! How can you possibly 'enlighten' me!?! I'm PARAMAHAMSA Nithyananda, the 'Enlightened' Healing Master among other honorific titles!?!" Easy, there, Sri Nithyananda. Since you are surrounded by yes-saying-minions that you have thoroughly brainwashed, we just want to let you know that there is something in the U.S.A. that no one is above, and that's the law. "What!?! I'm above everything!" Well, not in this case, Sri Nithyananda. "AAARRRRRUGH!!! AAARRRRRUGH!!! AAARRRRRUGH!!!" Oh, oh. My Gruntanese translator says we better go lightly.

OK, Sri Nithyananda, we'll lighten up a bit. Sri Nithyananda, do you believe in transparency of your organizations? "Be very clear. I am a self-realized, and self-proclaimed, genuine, bona fide, and certified Paramahamsa! I do not answer to anyone, and all of the gods that I say that I'm not an avatar of, they answer to me!" Oh, dear. This might be a long night. Sri Nithyananda, yes, that might all be true, especially in the eyes of your devout following, but here in the United States, everyone is equal in the eyes of the law. Even Richard M. Nixon found that one out, the hard way. "I am not that crook!" Sri Nithyananda, that was almost the quote from Nixon. But, in the United States, no person is above the law no matter how high they have claimed to levitate. "I AM NOT A CROOK!!!" There you go, Sri Nithyananda. That is the correct quote of Richard M. Nixon.

Anyway, Sri Nithyananda, if there seems to be a lack of transparency and some, shall we say, some irregularities, there's a due and fair process to help ensure that every thing is kosher. It does not mean that you are 'in the wrong', but it helps shed light, and perhaps could even correct things that are in a gray zone, but need to straighten up before things go really wrong. Therefore, Sri Nithyananda, I would like to take a moment and let our readers know of some resources where they can get that process started. "WHAT!?!" Yes, you heard me, Sri Nithyananda, I just want to post a few resources so that our concerned readers will feel better and at ease to know that you and your organizations have had the proper guidance to be a legitimate contributor to society. "RRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAUUUUUGGHHHHHHHHHZZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!" Oh, Oh. My translator in Gruntanese says that was a sound you never want to hear. I better put on this football helmet and extra thick kneepads. Today, I thought we would give some resources on how to report you and your organizations to the FBI and the IRS.

I wish his ashramites would get this kind of rest from time to time too.

GENERAL GUIDELINES:
If you would like to initiate some investigations and transparency for Sri Nithyananda and his organizations, it is very important that you be fully grounded in satya (truthfulness). Only report information that you know is absolutely true, and that you have personally experienced. When giving the information, it is best to document these points to the best of our ability:

1. When? Give the time and dates as close as you can.
2. Where? Give the place and locations. Don't worry if this happened outside of the United States, but if it did, say so.
3. Who? Give the names of the people involved.
4. What? Be as specific as possible. Best if you have details such as check numbers, amounts, additional names, etc.

Poor information: Don't give hearsay info such as "My best friend’s brother had a girlfriend and this person said that..." That is weak and not helpful.

Good information: "I personally experienced on September 11, 2007 that Nithyananda said at the Ashram in Duarte, California said to me and these people around 8:00 p.m..... and the amount of the money was $3,000 U.S.D. with check number 588, etc."

Confidentiality: You really need to give your full contact information to the US Government. Your report will have much more credibility than just an 'anonymous' tip with no personal information. Most likely leads that do not have this contact information are discredited. The U.S. Government does an excellent job of maintaining privacy, so there's no reason to worry. You could request along with your information that you remain anonymous so that you do NOT face retaliation or retribution if your identity is exposed (which is unlikely). Your privacy will be fully respected. Guaranteed.

Nationality: Do not worry if you are a U.S. citizen, U.S. Resident, or even a foreigner residing in or outside of the U.S. The U.S. authorities have overseas branches. Let them decide if your information is relevant or not. That's their job. It is best to come forward and give this information when possible. It will be helpful.

The most important piece of identification information is the Employee Identification Number (EIN). Be sure to include it for each organization reported.

If you are not certain which of Nithyananda's organizations to name in the 13909 Form, then send duplicates forms for each organization that is in question. For instance, if during the Mission Training 2007, you were promised to receive acharya (teacher) training, but were told to do menial service without the option for a refund, then you might want to fill out two (2) forms for both 1. The Life Bliss Foundation and 2. The Nithyananda Foundation. Although the information will be the same, it will help the IRS in sorting out which organization should be investigated. Do not worry. It is the same people with the same leader. The IRS will be able to figure it out.

You will need to fill out one (1) 13909 Form for every organization reported. For instance, if you fill out a complaint against the 1. Life Bliss Foundation, 2. The Nithyananda Foundation, 3. Nithyananda Dhyanapeetam Temple & Cultural Center, you will need to fill out three (3) separate forms.

For the one Nithyananda organization that does not have an EIN number, that is the:

Nithyananda Vedic Temple of Oklahoma City, OKC, OK USA

The IRS recommends that you still fill out a 13909 Form and state that this charity does not have an EIN number.

In section 5 of the IRS Form 13909, under "Submitter Information", you might want to check the box that will make your information confidential, specifically, check the box next to: "I am concerned that I might face retaliation or retribution if my identity is disclosed." Your information will remain confidential.

Sending instructions are on the IRS 13909 Form. You may send it via hardcopy through the postal service or as an email attachment (recommended) to the given email address, which is on the form.

You might want to write additional information to the IRS on a separate document. Be sure to include your contact information and the charity in question, including the address, and especially the EIN on all supporting documents.

IRS Reward Possibility: You might be interested to know that there is an IRS reward that you could qualify for.  To be eligible you will need to fill out and sign the IRS Form 211 "Application for Award for Original Information" and male that separetly to the Whistleblower Office.  You may obtain that form from this link:

Multiple Copies to Other Agencies:  Once again, it is highly recommended that you send a copy of all IRS documents to the FBI.  You might also want to keep a copy for your own records.
