Earlier today, the Ramanagara District Court came down hard and heavy against Mr. Gopal Reddy Sheelu, a.k.a. Sri Nithya Bhaktananda Swami, or simply A-2. The Court issued a non-expiriting non-bailable warrant for his arrest and cleared the way for the expedition procedures to begin. Not good for Gopal and his time behind bars is just a little closer.

Sec.105(B)(1) of Cr.PC reads as follows Where a Court in India, in relation to a criminal matter, desires that a warrant for arrest of any person to attend or produce a document or other thing issued by it shall be executed in any place in a contracting State, it shall send such warrant in duplicate in such form to such court, Judge or Magistrate through such Authority, as the Central Government may, by Notification, specify in this behalf and that court, Judge or Magistrate as the case may be shall cause the same to be executed.
The Report of the Superintendent of Police would show that, the 2nd accused is though having Indian Pass Port, as traveled to Orlando of United States of America.
It is made clear that, there is Extradition Treaty between India and Unites States of America. However, to process the warrant as against accused No.2 it required reasonable time to the Superintendent of Police, CID, Bengaluru.
Under the circumstances, the Superintendent of Police, CID, Bengaluru has made out sufficient grounds to issue Open Ended Date Warrant to accused No.2 Gopala Sheelam Reddy Alias Nithya Bakthananda.
Issue process accordingly without fixing a date. However for the purpose of convenience, call the matter on 30.04.2019.

DeleteThanks, Anon, for your view. Yes, it is frustrating, but we have to accept the pace of the HC that is in front of us. Not much that we can do to speed it up.
Yes, more trouble comes from the High Court of Karnataka than all the other courts combined. Even the honest judges are slow, and we wonder just how much respect it has for the Supreme Court orders of January 7th, 2017 that specifically stated that there should be no more delays.
In the High Court's defense, there were at least five appeals bundled into one appeal. And, that the Court knows that whatever verdict it gives, then the losing party will appeal it to the Supreme Court. It also knows that the media and the world is watching. So, it will be extra cautious to draft orders that will stand the scrutiny that will follow.
On the positive, we have come a long ways since the December 7th, 2017 order from the Supreme Court. Since then, Nithyananda and others have been chargesheeted. Non-bailable arrest warrants have been issued to Nithyananda and A-2 (Gopal Reddy Sheelum), and A-3 (Siva Vallabhaneni. Nithyananda has been missing since June 2018. Nithyananda has not been (to our knowledge) any where near his ashram. He has done his best to maintain control, but really, it is just a matter of time before he loses his grip, and his flock, no matter how brainwashed it has been, decides to flee. Some inner-core members like Sarah Stephanie Landry are no longer there. The Kumb Mela committee has banned Nithyananda and his cult from participating. And, we can't forget that Nithyananda keeps renewing his crown as the laughing stock of the spiritual world.
If Nithyananda is outside of the country, then he is in a vulnerable position with an expired passport. He will be at the mercy of the host country and will have to behave/treated as an illegal refugee.
And although Nithyananda might have cleared around $1.5 million from his latest batch of dumb-as-paint naifs with cash, it would appear that there is a cash crunch. It takes a lot of money to run his empire. The legal fees along are bleeding the 'empire' and the cult had to let go of several of its frivolous cases against the victims.
Hopefully, soon a the judge will issue his orders for the five appeals and that we will gain a victory. If not, then it will be appealed and the Supreme Court will hear the appeals and rule on the matter all in one hearing.

ReplyDeleteI am assuming the high court verdict may come sometime next week or the week after. The recent mass recruit in the ashram could be a plot to use the mass numbers as human shield when police come to search in the ashram. He is not there which is a different story.

Thank you for this blog. I saw this blog when I started researching about Nithyananda last year when one of my friend’s child was recruited. Dr. #Sona Kamat (#SonaKamat, #Kamat, #Dr.Kamat, #Dr.Sona, #Sona) from St. Louis is an agent of the Cult. She planned, housed and abetted my friend’s child’s escape inspite of knowing that the recruit had federal student loans just because recruit is a major. I, as a physician have advised the parents to report her to the Board of Healing Arts for her irresponsible and unprofessional behavior. There maybe an emissary/representative/recruiting agent in each city. All their names should be posted here to make everyone aware, especially agents who are in responsible professions/positions

According to the online centers section of Nithyananda's site Sona is the center coordinator for St.Louis. She is also on youtube claiming to materialize diamonds. Unless I am remembering incorrectly.. St.Louis is also the same place they were embarrassed on stage by a few professional magicians and also where one of the baseless cases against Aarthi Rao was filed many years ago.

Thank you, "unknown" and yes I was aware. It is part of a number of similar cases that culminated in the default judgement that nithya finally received in his favour in Michigan. They achieved that by making sure rao was stuck in India with her passport seized by the police, and then claiming in US court that all attempts to summon her at her US residence had failed. Naturally it would, as she is not there! This resulted in a poorly informed default judgement by the judge (which means that evidence admitted as true WITHOUT cross-examination). This fact is stated as is in the court records. This win is the same thing that nithya and team twist and falsely spread to their devotees and the outside world as a "half a million dollar judgement against rao" and "the US court accepted that the video was fake". They have gotten away with this bald-faced lie with no trouble. The cult is dumb as paint, and their leader is a repugnant shitstain, but their treasury is overflowing and their lawyers are v. sharp arrows. Those lawyers have shown time and again that it is disastrous to underestimate them. Whatever help you have planned, do it keeping that in mind.

The High Court of India's website states that on Wednesday, 16 January 2019 at 2:30 IST, that the presiding judge, Hon. P.S. Dinesh Kumar, will finally pronounce the long-awaited orders. There's five of them.
Since this is a high profile case, we are sure that the judge has scrutinized his orders very carefully and probably had his peers look over them. The party that does not prevail (most likely, Nithyananda, et al) will be sure to run to the Supreme Court with a desperate appeal. If true, then we hope that the defendants are denied a stay and that the non-bailable warrants for their arrests can be executed immediately.
Meanwhile, the Ramanagara District Court (the trial court) will have its next hearing the day after, on Thursday, 17 January 2019. To its credit, the Ramanagara Court only pushed the can down the road one week at a time as it patiently waited for the High Court of Karnataka to rule on the appeals.
Perhaps we finally caught a break in getting this trial stared and finished.

The orders are not posted yet, but the damage is done. The High Court of Karnataka, under Judge P.S. Dinesh Kumar, granted relief to Nithyananda and Siva Vallabhaneni's stay to their non-bailable warrants (NBW) for their arrests. The same judge also granted Nithyananda's motion to remove the officially appointed translator that took Lenin's statements. So, the Ramanagara District Court (the trial court) will have to appoint a new translator and record Lenin's statements again. It took Lenin two full days to record his statements last year.
The Court did rule favorably on the two other appeals. Siva Vallabhaneni's attempt to dismiss his charges because of a typo was not granted. Siva Vallabhaneni, a.k.a. Sri Sachitananda (A-3) will still have to go through his trial. Ranjitha Menon's motion to 'insert' herself into the trial and muck everything up was also dismissed.

Actually. A smart judgement. It concedes a reasonable point to the defendants, despite no doubt being aware of how silly it is, while the main issue is sent right back to the local courts and there are no court holidays any time soon unlike in winter. Thus he maintains his duty to be "fair". It is too bad this came at the expense of a lot of time and pain on the whisteblower's side, and gave nithy time to strategise. Today will tell whether it was wisdom or something else.

We have not seen the order yet, and it is not visible in the High Court of Karnataka's website.

Accordingly, it leaves the door wide open for the Ramanagara District Court (trial court) to post an order demanding that both Nithyananda (A-1) and Siva Vallabhaneni (A-3) appear in court.
Hopefully, the High Court will not entertain another appeal if this order is passed and the two absconding criminals continue their behavior of mocking the law and don't show up.
Obviously, the Supreme Court order of December 7th, 2017 that states that no more delays is not being respected by the High Court of Karnataka. Sad.
In the long run, this is not a victory for Nithyananda, but only lengthens his rope a little further for a few more months.
We hope that justice occurs swiftly and locks up these criminals with maximum sentences to make an example out of them, so that other criminals with god-fraud aspirations won't think that they can get away with it without paying a big price.

DeleteI don’t think he is out of the country. He appeared for his hearing in the trial court in June. His passport expired on Sep 30’th. Foreign countries check to see if the passport is valid for at least 6 months from the date of entry to their country. Moreover, it appears that the renewal request came to the district SP of Ramanagara and he rejected it.

Here's an update. The Ramanagara District Court held another court hearing yesterday, Thursday, 23 January 2019. Only Siva Vallabhaneni (A-3) showed up along with the attorneys. All the other accused, including Nithyananda, were absent. The Judge wants a certified copy of the order before he will resume the trial. This is due diligence, and no doubt that he has read the orders online. So, nothing big happened yesterday.
But wait! The Judge wants to adhere to the Supreme Court's order of 7 December 2017 that specifically states that the trial should be disposed of EXPEDITIOUSLY. Yup, no delay tactics, which seems to be the trademark of Nithyananda's legal team.
With that in mind, the Judge has set EVERY Thursday, Friday, and Saturday set aside to bring the trial forward.
So, in theory, the pace of the trial should quicken unless of course, Nithyananda appeals again and a stay (time out) is granted.
Unfortunately, Lenin will have to give his deposition one more time. But, this should only take a week or less.
Next trial date will be Friday, 1 February 2019.

We may have to wait for another year or two, before his a$$ is completely behind bars like Asaram and ram rahim. After the trial court, he will have to run to high court and then to Supreme Court to cover his a$$. I am sure his finances were already drying up. Heard that, most of the attendees, from the recently concluded 21 day programme, are unaware of his absence. If they had known, many wouldn’t have attended. Programs like this in future, they will enquire and then sign up. It’s only matter of time before they dry up. His cult is trying hard to recruit and mobilize funds by quoting different initiatives. He wants to then use this money for legal, bribes and to meet the day to day expenses of the organisation.

We all know how the journalist, who broke the Ram Rahim story, was murdered in 2002. Ram Rahim was found guilty recently in that murder case(after 12 years). Such is the plight of our judiciary. When sh!t hits the fan, I won’t be surprised such tactics will come to the light again. Hope the witnesses are well protected and strong enough to pursue the case to it’s logical conclusion. Thanks for the comments. Here is what we know. Of course A3 and A5 are Siva and Ragini Vallabhaneni respectfully.
We also learned that Nithyananda (A1) has also filed the same motion.
IPC 205 is false personation. That's a legal term where someone pretends to be someone else and commits a crime, e.g. a fake pharmacist fulfills prescriptions for pain pills, etc. But, that does not fit the model here.
What Siva and Ragini Vallabhaneni and now Nithyananda have filed is a motion to be permanently exempt from having to be present at the trial. Supposedly, Ragini (A5) has cancer and cannot attend. Siva (A3) is taking care of her. And, Nithyananda (A1) is wandering and sick.
Previously, the presiding judge excused Ragini's excuse, but didn't buy the excuses from Siva and Nithyananda. However, the judge just might allow them to be absent as long as the trial can continue and makes them forfeit their rites to object to any of the procedures such as which evidence to allow, etc.
And, yes, the Court will need to appoint another translator for Lenin, and Lenin will then need to give his deposition yet one more time. This is a total time waster.
Regardless, the trial is moving forward and at a three-day-a-week clip, we should soon see some action.

Requesting to “permanently exempt” is ridiculous. He avoided the trial for 8 years and now he wants to be exempted permanently. This only proves how scared this sh!tananda is. My guess is Supreme Court will intervene at some point questioning the delay tactics and contempt of court of a speedy trial.

DeleteNithyananda has had plenty of time to plan his escape. He also has learned the lessons from his last bout of absconding back in 2010 not to use his cell phone or let anyone in his entourage use a cell phone. Just like Bin Laden.
But, yes, you are right. He is famous. It will be hard for him to hide. Once a new non-bailable warrant for his arrest is issued AND executed, then the CID police can get into high gear. Certainly with all of his video conferencing, etc., it would not be unforeseeable that his hideout is found and that he be arrested soon.

Today, the Ramanagara District Court is scheduled to issue its orders of whether to grant or deny the motions to permanently exempt Nithyananda (A-1), Siva Vallabhaneni (A-3), and Ragini Vallabhaneni (A-5) from attending the ongoing hearings. It should be noted that Ragini is allegedly purported to have cancer.
We don't know how the judge will rule on this issue. We do know that he is eager to continue the trial and does not want any delays as per the direction from the Apex Court. It also would be hard for him to give up a major 'threat' that would compel the accused to adhere to the law.
Under these circumstances, we could see the following possible scenarios:
1) The judge grants all three motions with a certain time limit, e.g. 60 days, and a forfeit for the accused to object to any of the evidence being presented.
2) The judge denies all three applications but does NOT issue non-bailable warrants (NBW) for their arrest. This will maintain the court's ability to have a threat in the pocket without creating an issue for the accused to run to the High Court and ask for another lengthy stay. Therefore, the trial, in theory, can proceed and the accused still could be summoned at any moment.
3) Grant the exemption motion of Ragini (A-5) and deny the exemption motions of Nithyananda (A-1) and Siva Vallabhaneni (A-3). This seems consistent to the judge's past rulings. The judge did not buy Siva's excuse that he had to stay home to take care of Ragini. We are not aware of any proof submitted to the court that Ragini is suffering from cancer.
Were are not aware of any additional motions that are before the Court, but if they are some and they are ruled on, then we will see them in the orders.

DeleteWhat this means is that the trial is getting started again. Some time is needed to find a translator to retake Lenin's deposition, but it will happen. Hopefully, the Court will identify and retain a translator very soon.
The motions for permanent exemption to attend the hearings is still a ways off before an order is issued. But, since there are three dedicated days per week for this trial, this will happen soon. It looks as though the Judge has set for tomorrow, 15 February 2019 for all the attorneys to submit their papers and to follow up on getting a new translator.
As you might recall, the permanent exemptions are requested by Ragani Vallabhaneni (A5), who purportedly has cancer, Siva Vallabhaneni (A3), who claims is needed to stay home to take care of Ragini, and Nithyananda (A1), who is wondering aimlessly while ill but still well enough to make preposterous comments on YouTube. In the past, the judge only excused Ragini's absence. Let's see how it goes this time.
Interestingly, Siva Vallabhaneni now has a perfect attendance record. While all the other accused are absent, he is the only one there standing at attention. Perhaps he is motivated to stay out of jail. Sorry, time is not on his side right now. He just might be "out of luck".

DeleteThanks, anon, for your comment. Yes, we all know that Nithyananda is guilty. That he gamed the system. And, that he has used his money to hire the best attorneys (with no ethics) and to pay off certain people and institutions. And, although we would like a super speedy trial that brings immediate justice and closes the hellhole of Nithyananda and his empire, it just isn't going to happen right away.
From our observations, the Ramanagara District Court and this judge in particular have been exceptionally fair and apply the law evenly. Yes, the Apex Court gave clear direction that there should not be any more delays. Just the same, due process and time to allow opposition papers to be filed, etc. need to be factored in. This judge is doing just that. We will get to the heart of the trial by mid April (our best guess). It's important that within a judicial system that all the i's are dotted and the t's are crossed. Otherwise, a sloppy judicial process leaves the door wide open for an appeal, which could be overturned or at least delay justice.
The public prosecutor (PP) is appointed by the CID (police). It has 1000's of cases to manage. We are amazingly blessed that the CID's legal team has stepped up its game in the last couple of years in spite of having a case load that it cannot sustain. During the recent appeal in the High Court of Karnataka, the Advocate General of Karnataka came and argued on behalf if the police and against Nithyananda. The Advocate General the TOP prosecuting attorney, and when this person enters, the judges have to listen.
So, the CID has really did a lot of heavy lifting in this case, especially in the past two years.
Yes, we would like to put a jet on this case and see the cult unravel. It will. But, not without due process.

Yesterday, Thursday 21 February 2019, the Ramanagara District Court had another session. Nothing happened of exception. None of the accused appeared. Excused. The Court is still trying to identify and retain someone in the legal community that can translate from Tamil into English so that Lenin's deposition can be taken.
The Court set the next hearing date in one week. So, this coming Thursday, 28 February 2019, we will know if a translator has been identified.
In the meantime, Nithyananda through his Facebook profiles claims that there has been multiple poison attempts against him. Nithyananda also claims to be an alien. Really. Finally, Nithyananda is hinting that he will never be back to do 'in person' darshans to his followers. OK, we accept that last statement as a possible Truth. Stay tuned.

Nithyananda's life 'underground', where we hope he will be placed very soon, seems to match the despair, paranoia, and desperation of the final 'bunker' months of Adolf Hitler. Today, 2 March 2019, marks the ninth anniversary of the scandal breaking. We've made significant progress, and Nithyananda's cult is in the retreat. But, it has been a very long nine years with considerable pain to those that were right on the front line, specifically Aarthi R. and Lenin Karuppan. The barrage of harassment and fake legal threats continue. Somehow, these two heroes have held steadfast. We must support them.
Last Thursday, 28 February 2019, the trial court had another hearing. The good news is that a Tamil translator has been identified so that Lenin's deposition can be entered in the court as evidence (for a second time). The Court's next hearing will summons this person and see if he (we assume he) is available and willing to do so. The next hearing is scheduled for 7 March 2019. Progress. Albeit very slow indeed.

So, there's much work to be done before we can forgive her and modify our posts accordingly. But, the window is opening. Let's see if it brings in a fresh breeze or just a smokescreen to evade personal responsibility.

ReplyDeleteI discovered Swamiji via Sarah Landry (Ma Nithya Swarupapriyananda). I love Ayurveda and a lot about the Indian culture and aspects of Hinduism, so I really jived initially with what Swamiji teaches. I began watching his videos and connecting with disciples. They all made it so alluring! I attended two live workshops that broadcast live video events where we experimented with third eye powers (side note: some third eye powers are REAL, but you don’t need any guru or cult to help you activate. ReplyDeleteAnyway I really started feeling like going to IA. I’m dealing with multiple chronic illnesses, and it sounded like Swamiji could help me! I didn’t realize it, but so much of their tactics to “help” people overcome money blocks to get to IA are steeped in shame. I never felt like I was doing enough and felt shame for not being able to “complete” with patterns or blocks. Then I heard about the IA online/self-study program for $500, where you could put that toward tuition for an upcoming live, high-ticket program. I was told by a disciple that this would be a perfect step to prove I’m willfully persistent and would attract more money to be able to go to the live program. She really pushed me to make this decision. I decided to buy the program.
Long story short, the IA self-study online program is a bunch of BS. And it was never a go-at-your-own-pace program as advertised. I decided to email the program director and asked for a refund. I didn’t hear from them, so I emailed a second time. She responded and refused, saying to be “patient,” that they are in the midst of putting the materials together. I responded that I still want a refund and will reconsider buying the program when it is complete. To this day, over a year later, there still is no self-study program!!! I never got a reply. I had to file a dispute with my credit card company, which attempted to reach the the organization several times. After a long time, eventually I got my money back, but only after a fight.
The problem with the organization is I do believe it is a cult and they instill such deep and subtle layers of shame that you don’t realize it until it’s too late. The followers use cohesive control, micro-aggressions, passive-aggression, and lots and lots of shame tactics to get you to buy something. Even when I politely asked for my refund, which I had every right to do(!), I felt so much shame for this action “against” Swamiji. I felt I was letting him down and that I wasn’t good enough and that my taking back this money was, in essence, cursing me to never be able to attract a healthy income and never be able to go to IA and never attain anything I wanted in life.
I can relate to a lot of what Sarah Landry has gone through in what she said in her recent video and comments that Anonymous shared above. I still think she will learn more as time passes and when she’s had more distance from it all. She’s still quite gentle in how she talks about Swamiji and the organization. She hasn’t reached the point of feeling angry yet. It is a cult. Period. It preys on people dealing with trauma and low self-esteem. It doesn’t empower people when all they blather on about is the cure-all piece of advice to “Come to IA and meet Swamiji!” I’ve made so much healing progress on my own and following Ayurveda. I don’t need to personally visit a guru to “heal” me. I do believe there are true healers out there, but they don’t charge you $10K to see them and they don’t say you will only heal if you see them. And they definitely meet you where you are at in your journey and give you advice for what you can do on your own or suggest low-cost options. They don’t put your healing on an unreachable pedestal, and then shame you for not being able to “complete” and reach that pedestal, and they don’t encourage you to go into debt by taking out crazy loans to see them!

I would be very hard for us to ever forgive Sarah Stephanie Landry. She has made very public outrageous lies against us and other victims. She has even made death threats about how our heads will be cut off. Yet, there is hope. Perhaps if she ever sincerely apologized and retracted all of her evil deeds and made a concerted effort to undo what she did, then we could forgive her. We look forward to that day.
Much like Heinrich Himmler left Hitler at the very end, Sarah Stephanie Landry 'left' Nithyananda's cult. It appeared that her visa was not renewed, surprise, surprise, after publicly attacking the immigration officials with her assault of social media viciousness, she waited and waited and waited in Canada as her visa, which never was approved. It seems that the avatar's magic power is deeply limited and cannot be applied to obtaining visas, as Nithyananda is now struggling for asylum and is technically without a valid passport.
We digress. Ms. Landry and all her hiding makeup seems to have no remorse for what she did. She did not 'wake up' but by twisted fate of her own doing was denied back into the hellhole of Nithyananda's ashram. We view Ms. Landry as still being a little psychopath and doesn't deserve the any grace at this point. Her poison still has impact. But, she did get lucky. We welcome the day that she truly wakes up and is remorseful for what she did. But, we are not holding any hope that day will ever come.
Healing is a tricky topic. On surface, it seems all good. Who naturally doesn't want to see people healed and help them heal? But, then there's the karma. Some people have karma to burn and if that is taken away, then someone else gets burned. Healing through healthy living, pranayama, ayurveda, etc., all good. Healing with no karma transfer. This is the right path. If others want to do 'healing', which has karmic transfers, then these 'healers' better know how to burn off that karma. Sadly, Nithyananda doesn't teach this to his initiated healers. Nithyananda probably doesn't know how to do this. Sad. DeleteThanks, Anon, for the comment. U/Sec 205 of Cr.Pc stands for "Under Section 205 of the Criminal Procedure Code", which is a law that allows the judge to excuse the attendance of the accused. Therefore, Nithyananda (A-1), Siva Vallabhaneni (A-3), and Ragani Vallabhaneni (A-5) do not have to appear for the witnesses' depositions. The rest do. They might file an exemption for the day not to appear, which has a high probability of being granted.
It seems the judge is not demanding appearances of the accused after the last spat of appeals that delayed the case for over seven months. The judge seems to take the strategy that the only way to bring this case forward and to final verdict is to 'humor' all of the accused's requests not to appear. By doing do, the court avoids all issues and any possibility of an appeal, which could derail the case even further.
Do these criminals deserve to sit and watch as evidence against them gets piled in? Certainly, yes. In most criminal cases, this is exactly what would happen. But, these criminals have money and lawyers and a track record of making a mockery of justice. So, the judge seems to be taking a pragmatic course to make sure that the day where a final verdict is read comes sometime this year.
By now, the judge, like the rest of us, has probably resided that Nithyananda will not appear ever. And, that a verdict by absentia is the best we'll get.
But, let's see. We have been pleasantly surprised before.
This Monday, 22 April 2019, the trial kicks in to several-days-a-week mode. It probably will take a month to introduce all the evidence into the court for the real heart of the trial to begin.
At lass, progress is made. We will get our justice soon. Maybe before the start of summer, but we wouldn't count on it. Patience.

2) Request her to first go there and experience that life for 2 to 3 years in the ashram. If she can survive that long, then she can take the drastic step of donating all her assets which could have been her hard earned money and possibly inherited from generations.
Whatever the case, it’s just sad to hear this. Hope good prevails over evil. If there is some divinity and something or someone called god, he should take care of this conman.

I thought she is beyond that stage of persuasion. If there is any minute chance of her, listening, then don’t even think of even looking at that shitty place even on YouTube or on his website or in the dreams.

With all the evidence that even the cult cannot bury and after ten months of Nithyananda only able to appear via video conference while making weird statements that his is an alien that is living in the center of Earth and will never return to his ashram, and as his criminal trial progresses forward, there are still vulnerable souls that can be sucked into such lunacy. We are surprised that with judgment as poor as she has that she would even consider going to his ashram, give the criminal cult all her assets, and take up sanyassin, that she has any assets at all. Wealth does not bring wisdom. And, if all these assets were handed to her like Trump's children, then she will not be able to hold on to them for very long. Amazing.
If your friend is well down the path of being brainwashed and sucked into a hell unimaginable, then our only advice would be to have her wait until the trial is behind Nithyananda. The strategy could be that if Nithyananda is truly an avatar, as he claims, and god-of-just-about-anything, then this criminal matter would be just child's play to turn it around and make it go away. Of course, that is not going to happen. But, if she can wait until the trial is over, which seems to be on course of a guilty verdict against the fake godman within the next six months, then she *might* be saved.
Regardless, you have an uphill battle to fight to save her. You will need to be strong. The cult is very desperate now. What is left of Nithyandanda's brainwashed minions is lashing out in full ugly mode (we received some true nastiness recently), but it knows that it is losing and that they have no hope. Like a sinking ship, the bow is 45 degrees out of the water. Even those that jump in a lifeboat now will be sucked under under the tow of the ship plummeting to the sea floor.
To make matters worse, those that are trying to escape have their options cut. The cult holds passports and makes sure that it has plenty of blackmail 'evidence', usually in the form of pictures of having forced/encouraged sex, to keep those behind the gates 'loyal' to the end. (We suspect that these ugly photos comprised most of the content in the pen drives that were once in possession of the murder suspect, Sangeetha.) And, yes, there have been plenty of people who died under mysterious circumstances (we suspect murder) at the ashram. Usually, these victims 'mysteriously' died after they spoke out against the cult. Such a sickening hellhole.
So, please make every effort to prevent your friend from wrecking her life beyond repair. It sounds like she needs a lot of help regardless.

I came back to check the updates and I admit I have to take a bow to this admin. It's now 9 years since the video surfaced and with the victims either jailed or harassed or their lives in shambles, I was not sure how much more they all could take it. But they seem to have persisted. I hope to see the day they all celebrate when justice prevails.

I joined,started following , day by day I found the concept inside is quite different than they teach outside via video . Outside they teach completion, jnside they will tell leave completions just surrender to the word or work of master, it is thousand times effective than completion. Just keep following what is needed and they will also tell you are worthless, expendable and can be told to leave place anytime if you are not able to Perform in given task.
It do happen when they see you got much involved and became sympathizer of their mission and seems seeking some Role up in group, they may say for janma(lifetime) you are searching for avatar.. Do you want to miss him like this or keep completing means stay and work for mission of lifetime

ReplyDeleteMy case was I got attracted by life there felt its good escape and essence of life as well but reaching there and working there made me feel that I am as cheating myself as other had cheated me before.I also found ppl living there are full of bullying and desperate for many reasons and without doing research on topics or giving valid explanation talking and spreading a lot of facts. Other than this , in mission where you are given food and shelter, in return you have to fight with enemy of Swami whoever they are political ,activists or competitor like Sri Sri, jaggi vasudev , other Hindu guru like ramdev, foreign based guru, yoga studio etc for promoting power based Hinduism.
I luckily left, I wanted to see how much problems of my life got solved. When I came out and went for training in Institute , they told me I am under high level of stress.
So later I analysed my condition and found staying there in war kind environment and getting not worthful guidance,creating more mental enemies , believing avatar and spreading untested words and getting cheated by the group were also cause of the stress
I say getting cheated, because later I found a Balasaint video cheating public by materializing diamond, but he is just hiding diamonds in fingers. And that kinds of people we're believed as super divine and possible duplicate of Swami onnuda .
Further the group were claiming they are only group can bring eye power back to blind kids via blindfolded activities but I found Sri Sri group (faceboook)in mass level and others few in Russia(YouTube) are also doing similar activities.
People go to these place to learn handle the success or failure of life,and get into mission by believing the claims I prefer Sri Sri place better as there is very less suggestions and claims in air than this ashram and there is no Balasaint claiming materialization and getting caught on video.

In his application, Sri.MM Advocate has contended that, the counsel for accused No.1 has all of a sudden fallen sick in the late night and he has been hospitalized and undergoing surgical treatment. Hence, requested to defer the examination of CW1 beyond 2 weeks from this day preferably to a date some time immediately after summer vacation. Reputing the same learned PP has submitted that, no grounds are made out to adjourn the matter. Admittedly, there is directions from the Apex Court to dispose of the matter expeditiously. However, learned PP has submitted that, considering prevailing circumstances especially the health of Sri.ERGN Advocate for accused No.1 it is proper to defer the examination of CW1 after summer vacation. Accordingly, being satisfied with the reasons, the application filed U/sec.309 of Cr.PC is hereby allowed. The examination of CW1 is hereby deferred till next date. CW2 by name T.M.Vishwanathan present. Sri.MM Advocate for the accused has submitted that, CW2 being the 2nd complainant at the earliest point of time has lodged complaint in Tamil language and hence, Translator is required. He has also requested the court to defer the chief examination of CW2 on the ground that, the accused requires time to get the assistance of Translator so as to know the contents of 2nd complaint which is in Tamil language. Countering the same, the learned PP has submitted that the Tamil version of the complaint is already translated to Kannada and same is available in the file and any inconsistencies made out in the evidence of CW2 will come to the aid of the accused if proved. That submission is well founded. It is relevant to note that, the matter is of the year 2014 and hence, it is just and necessary to proceed with trial. If CW2 is subjected to the process of chief examination, no injustice would cause to the accused. Look at how fast the case is progressing. Next hearing is scheduled for May 27’th. The counselor for accused has fallen severely sick on the night before and undergoing surgery in the hospital. I am wondering what kind of sudden illness causes surgery? A broken hand or leg? Intentionally broken? This b@stard is making such a mockery of the justice system. The whole system has to feel ashamed. If the high court or super court has any shame left, they have to act and give a strict order to the lower court that trial has to end with inn15 days. Till such order this case will go on and on and on. An order of open ended date to “dispose expeditiously” is not going to work.

He says Jesus as avatar as he resurrected dead to life but this group gives no damn to Jesus .

Let me clarify: All I was saying was all these links have been blocked by FB's spam filter ever since the devotees reported them, so it won't work. I realized this sometime last year when trying to type them out on messenger, and I spoke to people who corroborated that and showed evidence for it.

One of event was highlighted on Facebook that few disciples cheated few other disciples on some scam and those ppl lost a lot of money and complained about , accused kept asking for akashik reading via power of gurukul students for the complaint upon him but they didn't listen and severely threatened them tagging on fb post.

It is need to mention, many kids from chinmaya school got very good marks above ninety five percentile it's appearing in news feed of social media as well , so do from other schools .
But I am yet to see, his holiness kids breaking or making any record in these exams, showing power of downloading questions and answers and help themselves in real world outside the ashram.

You might have seen a post of adiyogi image with nithyananda older image, years back around. Claiming, this image, idol is inspired from his face.
They even tried to match jawline also and storied it as sculpture was making his face which then converted into Adiyogi! !
You will feel that end of all day work, chanting and emotional pleasure turn s in to full-time fulfilling his nuances or create nuances for promotion of project like above or other .
So followers and disciples could together live in high and show keep going like that .
What I mentioned was a post a year back before Adiyogi inauguration , it was posted on wall of several devotees. Many of my friends asked me about it then I came out and found its terrible to define any spiritual activities afterwards.
You will definitely learn how to be confident while dealing with religious ppl, and how to serve some theory to them , feed them a bit ..but if you stay, you have to be part of their nuances , one of surprise I already mentioned :

Both Nithyananda, the asura, and the followers of such an asura, are responsible for their actions and will reap the worst of karma.
Much like parasites the infest the digestive tracks of termites, one allows the other to exists. Paramahamsa Ramakrishna (a TRUE Paramahamsa) often referred to this relationship of deluded followers of a false guru like a snake that could not digest the large frog it had in its mouth. Both will suffer.
For instance, Nithyananda in recent years has taught his dark siddhi practice to certain followers, who then in turn tried to unleash dark practices towards those that are against Nithyananda. These misguided followers reap the bad karma of horrific deeds while Nithyananda also reaps bad karma for teaching such ungodly practices, much like the top crooks benefit from a Ponzi scheme but those on the bottom of the Ponzi scheme try their hardest to peddle the toxic practice.
It is not the hatred of another guru but the obligation to stand up for Truth and Dharma and to place such low vibrating organizations out-of-business. As we can all see that Nithyananda and his thugs have ruined thousands of lives wholesale. It is past time to put an end to these crimes.

The delays in this case are OUTRAGEOUS. India's justice system has a LOT to answer for. It's all just so vile. This man is stinking rich so it seems he can do what he wants in your country!! Can you please elaborate more on this? I experienced foreign energies at the Inner Awakening and especially whenever we invoked the powers I would see spirits in the "alchemy products" like stones or mirrors. I felt an immense power that would take over my body and make my body shake uncontrollably but soon started questioning the source of all these powers. I believe in God and I went there to get the englightenment I was promised. I am so disappointed as I over the years I became very confused cause many a times saw the disciples leave the ashram and even some people that took Sannyas in my group quit without really explaining why. I have not been feeling the same since IA. It is as though my body is not capable of feeling aliveness which I felt so much there anymore. What is the solution? How can I feel normal again? I sometimes feel the only solution is to go back but then again not sure if the energies that reside there are really of Light and purity. Please please please help.

We tried to explain to everyone, but have failed to reach impact. Nithyananda uses dark siddhis. His early 'enlightenment' rituals used to occur in graveyards (to overcome fear - as he claimed). He uses red chilies in fire rituals to cultivate dead souls into his arsenal. In Los Angeles, he could not obtain any human flesh to put in his fire ritual (usually wrapped in cloth to conceal what he is dropping into the fire), so instead, he had all the ashramites cut off locks of their hair and dropped a whole plate of hair into the fire (July 2007). This worked and obtained his desired results.
In his 'enlightenment' ritual, Nithyananda then fuses one of his captured souls to a paying victim like yourself. This 'soulmate' then makes its host (victim) change his or her thoughts and other actions based on thought control. This is one of the reasons it is so hard to get Nithyananda's brainwashed followers to be open to any reason or logic. They are stuck.
The good news is that this unholy union will disappear after about three years if no 'refersher' ritual is conducted.
Victims could speed up the process and cleanse themselves by chanting cleansing mantras. Note: Nithyananda's mantras that insert his name for the Divine's name will only make life worse for you. There are plenty of cleansing Sanskrit mantras available on YouTube. Pick one that resonates with you and chant many round of that mantra EVERY day. (Note: our job is not to initiate people. You need to do that for yourselves or find a TRUE guru who will. - we recommend that you try to do it yourself as not to get cheated a second time.)
Some of you might have that WTF feeling after reading the above. Quite natural. But, here's just a quick note of truth:
Sometime Nithyananda's soul-matching process sometimes goes horribly wrong and one of his captured souls runs amok on its victim. In 2005 at the teachers training in Northern California, one lady crawled under her bed at the dormitory and screamed uncontrollably with convulsions for days. Her husband had to go and pick her up. Another victim in a 2008 teacher's training in the L.A. Temple (on or around May of that year) tried to kill himself by jumping off the balcony of the hotel he was staying at. The head ashramites at the time, Bhaktananda, Sahaj, and Medananda had to forcefully drag him to the back offices of the temple and try to get Nithyananda to do some remote 'switching'.
In Nithyananda's unpublished book (he pulled it at the last minute) "Swamiji as We Know Him", there are letters from devotees that are just scary. One of them from Sri Praba explained how his then-wife, Ma Praba would shake uncontrollably and speak in tongues. At one point, Sri Praba recounts how he kissed his then-wife and she replied in a deep and gravelly voice, "I am not your wife!" At the time, Sri Praba thought that it was 'Swami's Energy' working on his wife. Yes, an energy. But a very dark and sinister energy.
We have pictures of Spookiji from his second US tour in 2004 dancing around with different ladies, etc. In these pictures, it looked like dust particles were on the camera's lens. Then we noticed that these particles were different on each picture, so they couldn't be from dust. We zoomed into each picture and found that these 'dust' particles looked like orbs found on ghosts sites on the internet. We will posts these and let you decide.
Just the same, we are certain that Nithyananda will use his dark siddhis to make his victims feel euphoric at the time. This is NOT enlightenment. No more so than eating magic mushrooms or doing other drugs. Very wrong. Very tamasic.

There are lots of statements to what 'enlightenment' really is. The comments above are certainly true, and we agree with them.
For most of us, ourselves included, we are born of this world and start to follow a worldly path of attachments to family, spouses, careers, home-ownership, etc.
The trick is to crowd Divine (or God) into your life and still maintain these worldly relationships without being impacted by them. For instance, it is wrong for someone to abandon his or her family and quite his or her job to pursue living in an ashram or do service for their (fake) swami. That's what Nithyananda encourages. In the name of 'renouncement', Nithyananda enslaves his followers. This so-called renouncement creates lots of suffering and the victim become dependent.
Instead, someone who is connected with God sees the Divine in everyone and every situation. They are not affected by the wordily strife but embrace these situations because they are not in it. This enlightenment process is much like a water lily rises from the mud or a true paramahamsa or swan is able to find food in the depths of the much without being impacted by the mud. But both the water lily and the swan do not try to move away from the mud. No easy task, but once someone gets a glimpse of this, then they can love their families more and deal with the grind at work and daily living without losing site of God. Soon they will gravitate toward other like minded people (satsung) at temples, etc. WHILE still maintaining and nurturing their family relations and sustaining themselves WITHOUT dependency on other humans, only dependency on God, through our best efforts and best thinking as a natural conduit. Yes, we need to give our best to let God or Divine be able to work through us. Give to get. Laziness = fail. Not using our intellect = fail. Looking for an easy route = fail.
There is no fast track to enlightenment. No guaranteed solution. But, we do recommend that people practice kindness, do some type of prayers on a daily basis, adhere to nonviolence (including a vegetarian diet), do some pranayama, and surround themselves with caring and God-loving people. This will begin the process that $15K fee and three weeks will not achieve. Guaranteed.

His recently blah blah, he understand his shortcomings, so going fully legal. It's not guru disciples but it's different contract based relationship, where powerful person uses greed, fear etc to keep other under contract.

Back to the so-called Paramahamsa Vishwananda. He visited Nithyananda in Nithyananda's L.A. ashram sometime in 2006. Of course, he had his harem of attractive lady followers fawn over him just as Nithyananda had his flock closely at hand. One of them was a double agent! On or around early 2010 right about the same time Nithyananda had his scandal break, Vishwananda had his own scandal and he flew the coop before any legal action could be taken against him. (Such a brave and holy man.)
Somewhere in our archives, we have pictures of the two self-proclaimed Paramahamas greeting each other and admiring each other's harem. Of course, these photos were promptly removed from Nithyananda's website as not to tarnish Nithyananda's holy reputation.
Yes, we try to keep all posts here truthful. If you see a correction that needs to be made, then please GENTLY call it out. As long as the mistake is made with good intentions and not part of a deliberate act to spread disinformation, then please be kind to the commenter. Many former brahmacharis (monks) have reported about Vishwanada's abuse of yogic powers and homosexual interaction with them against their will. Vishwananda is a very powerful homosexual and tantric guru. It is scary to know that heterosexual young men are manipulated by Vishwananda, so they start serving him in his homosexual ways. Just our suggestion for this blog and maybe you are already working towards it: Try to get Nithyananda on the FAKE BABAS list which is maintained by the All India Akhara Parishad, headed by the president Mahant Narendra Giri. For the first time the parishad has released a list of fake babas in the year 2017 to improve the image of gurus and has updated it probably 3 times after. Reach out to the president via the Bade Hanuman Ji Temple in Allahabad. I have read that Nithyananda was supposed to be added to the list but the akhara which provided him the Mahamandaleshwar title was strictly against it. Here is a short passage from the article:

It is also known that Vishwananda paid 30.000USD to Santosh Das from the Sri Satua Baba ashram in Varanasi to use his connections within the Vaishnava akharas to buy him the Mahamandaleshwar title. They became friends in the year 2012 when Vishwananda visited his ashram. The story about the Mahamandaleshwar initiation was shared with all devotees of the ashram via their internal Telegram group in Shree Peetha Nilaya (Springen/ Germany).
These aksharas provided the Mahamandaleshwar titles to both gurus:
- Mahanirvani Akhara (or simply Nirvani): NITHYANANDA (in 2013)
- Nirmohi Akhara: VISHWANANDA (in 2013)
It shows that the All India Akhara Parishad which consists of 13 akharas is not too powerful or organised yet. They have let 1 akhara decide even though the other 12 akharas might have been for adding Nithyananda to the list. I think the All India Akhara Parishad needs to implement a voting system, if arguments arise as it did about Nithyananda. Since Hinduism is still not too well organised, I think it is a good idea to support the All India Akhara Parishad which also should have a website. They try to cleanse the guru system. You are welcome to comment on that, I might be wrong and there might be other organised bodies of which I am not aware of.

Various ex-devotees of Vishwananda have reported black magic attacks, as they called it (also rape cases or general criticism). This should be a big warning to every spiritually interested person. Such gurus are very dangerous, since they misuse their position/ abilities and hurt the last faith and trust the people have put in god.

Yes, leave it to good ol' Bhathananda Swami to get the criminal case placed on track again.
His latest hearing came up last Monday on the same day as Nithyananda and A3-A6.
Instead of pushing the can down the court hall for another four or five months, the judge is demanding that the next hearing starts in one week. That's this Monday, 1 July 2019. This could be BIG trouble for Gopal. If it is big trouble, then there will be shock waves reverberating down all of Nithyananda's organization, especially with the other accused, including the big fraud himself, Nithyananda.
We will find out more very soon and see that the true intentions of the new judge really are.

Some good news.
Four civil lawsuits against Lenin Karuppan have been dropped this week. Some of these were nine years old! We suspect that Nithyananda's money machine is running dry and doesn't have enough bribe-ready cash to keep empty lawsuits active in the courts.
The losing plaintiffs (the cult members who 'initiated' - in name only - these harassment lawsuits that have been dropped) include:
Anjula Jackson (despised witch)
Vinay Venkatarraman (left the cult long ago)
Rajeswary Kunasekaran (left the cult long ago)
Lori Alice Espersen (very confused lady who is mentally weak)
Sorry to say that these lawsuits are only the tip of Nithyananda's legal attack stinkberg, but we will take any relief at this point. Perhaps justice is finally being served.
Once again, the amount of abuse and punishment Lenin, Aarthi, and Vinay (as well as others) have been significant. True kudos to these warriors that have withstood all injustice and still stand tall.

The case filed against Nithyananda by SRI Nithya Supriyananda is part of a harassment strategy from the cult. Brother and sister, Ma and Sri Supriyananda, are from a scheduled class; Dalits. The recent (2015) amended laws in India were set to protect these class from the institutionalized harassment that these people endured for centuries. The laws require that anyone harassing someone from this class be imprisoned immediately and to be held without bail. Only the thinnest of evidence is needed to convict someone of a crime against the scheduled class.
It should be noted that most judges do not like to throw out these cases against the scheduled classes in order to protect themselves. By quickly dismissing a case regardless of how weak it is, only sets up scrutiny against the judge and the court house itself. One which it would seem the court would rather half-heartily entertain the case and push the can down the road rather than be under a critical microscope.

Although the spirit of these laws is to protect Dalits, Nithyananda's attorneys jumped on the chance to further harass the victims. In the case of Lenin, three criminal charges were brought against him by the loyal brainwashed agents of Nithyananda, Ma and Sri Supriyananda. Each case had a different slant that could apply different laws independent of the court's findings. Each case claimed that Lenin said insults against their class and tried to rape Ma Supriyananda and threatened/acted out violence against both Ma and Sri Supriyananda. The story only varied to ensure that one dismissal of one case wouldn't jeopardize the other pending cases.
The first false case filed against Lenin to exploit these 'Untouchable' laws that was filed in the Bangalore Court was dismissed. The second case filled in the Ramanagara District Court has gained traction, but seems to be on the slow path. The third false case (this one) was filed strategically in Kolar, even though the alleged crime didn't happen any where near Kolar. Nithyananda knew that it was out-of-range of Lenin's faithful legal counsel, and sure enough, Lenin had to hire a new attorney at great expense.
Although the Kolar case was on a slow track, Lenin's legal counsel successfully filed a petition to the High Court of Karnataka (this case that you see) and stayed (stopped) the case filed in Kolar. Yes, it didn't go away, but it has been put on ice indefinitely. It's no longer a threat.

This person is SRI Nithyananda Gnanananda, a.k.a. Mr. Noble. At one point, he was the chief acharaya for Nithyananda's order. He characteristically lectured and further entrapped victims into the cult. When Nithyananda was not available, most certainly Mr. Noble was lecturing for him.
SRI Nithyananda Gnanananda, a.k.a. Mr. Noble, was trained to become a dentist and was one of the early ashramites back in 2003. We first met him in 2004. Mr. Noble also had quite a reputation of being a ladies man. So much so that he got tagged as being the dentist that only drills at night.
Shortly before Nithyananda announced his short-lived coup as being the 293 Pontiff of the Madurai Aadheenam, Sri Gnanananda stripped off his kavi cloth (but this time in public) and announced that he has left the cult in order to get married.

Of course, Nithyananda and his cult were none too happy with the defection and disclosures. The cult still had Gnanananda by his b@lls (as the cult often tried to figure out ways to blackmail people and lined everything up in advance.) The cult particularly took issue with the disclosure that Nithyananda paid in 2012 about one crore INR, which is about $150,000.00 USD, in legal fees each month. (A fine and holy way to spend people's donations.) Although the burn rate must have certainly gone up, that is still a big chunk of cash that never stops. That's about $1.8 M every year, or $12.6 M to date. Regardless, the cult was out for damage control and revenge. So, in 2012, the cult forced Mr. Noble, a.k.a. Sri Nithya Gnanananda to file a demination case against Lenin for spreading the very words that Sri Nithya Gnanananda wrote and said. Since Sri Nithya Gnanananda is a weak, confused, and scared little Noblebody, he went along with the plot. Yes, as grandma once said, "a dog that would carry a bone would dig one too." And, Mr. Noble has his share of digging, particularly at night.
Of course, this lawsuit was filed once again in faraway Kolar. This was a guaranteed solution to rack up more legal expenses and travel expenses (plus time) for Lenin. (As you recall, the cult has filed all over India against the victims. The furthest case was filed in Varanasi with the sole intent to harass the victims with new expenses, travel, and time.)
This lawsuit also served the intent to shut Mr. Noble up and now make him pay for his own lawsuit. At one crore a month, the cult knows that legal battles are not cheap.
As with the Supriyananda case, Lenin's legal counsel successfully petitioned the High Court of Karnataka and obtained a stay against further proceedings. Yes, this case is now in ice.
Although these are small 'victories', they are just pieces of the harassment hailed at them and the other victims.
True victory will not happen until Nithyananda and his thugs are in prison with little or no chance of parole.

On this day, A3, A4 and A6 are present. A1 and A5 are absent. EP's are filed. It is submitted by the learned counsel that, A5 is suffering from cancer, exemption application is preferred U/sec.205 of Cr.PC., Reasons being satisfactory, the same is accepted. So far as A1 is concerned, it is submitted that, on account of Chathurmasa Observation, A1 is unable to appear before the court. Therefore, EP is filed.
However, it is submitted that, after the completion of Chathurmasa Observation A1 shall appear before this court. In view of this submission and with fond hope that, A1 being personally present, shall co-operate with the trial, the EP is hereby accepted. It is submitted that, U/sec.205 Cr.PC application filed on behalf of A1 is pending for disposal and that, A1 has no objections to record his evidence in his absence. These submissions are worth considering provided that, the accused No.1 shall appear personally before this court and shall mention the same before this court so as to avoid further ambiguity in this case. CW1 is also absent on this day on account of his ill-health due to alleged food poisoning.
It is pertinent to mention herein that, this court is called upon to complete the trial at the earliest, the parties are hereby directed to co-operate with this court so as to comply the directions of Hon'ble Apex Court. At this stage, the learned PP submits that, unless A1 appears before this court or unless the personal appearance of A1 being dispensed with, the trial cannot be proceeded with and therefore that, the IA's to be filed U/sec.273 Cr.PC is answered.
In reply to this, the learned counsel Sri.MM and Sri.ERGN submit that, unless the application filed U/sec.205 of Cr.PC is answered, the application U/sec.273 Cr.PC cannot be filed on behalf of accused. In view of the above said rival submissions, this court has gone through the provision of Sec.273 read with Sec.317 of Cr.PC and also Sec.205 of Cr.PC.
It is needless to mention herein that, Sec.205 of Cr.PC being incorporated under Chapter 16 of Cr.PC, can, in the opinion of this court, be press into service at the stage of commencement of proceedings before the Magistrate.

ReplyDeleteThat as of now, the matter is reached the stage of trial before this Sessions Court. Therefore, question of commencement of proceedings does not arise at all. That the present proceedings being before Sessions Court, as pointed out by the learned PP it is no good for the accused No.1 to prefer exemption application U/sec.205 of Cr.PC. It is also needless to mention herein that, Sec.273 and 317 Cr.PC being fall under the Chapter 23 of Cr.PC which deals with general provisions as to enquiries and trials, the same can be invoked by accused No.1 so as to get his appearance dispensed with.
However, filing of such applications, as per Canons of Law rendered by the Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka and also by the Hon'ble Apex Court, cannot be press into service by the accused on all dates of hearing, during the trial.
It is pertinent to mention herein that, as per the submissions of learned defence counsels, the accused No.1 does not dispute the identity in the event of any witnesses refer the accused in the course of their examination. Except these oral submissions and reasons in every application, no other material, unlike accused No.5, is adduced in this behalf by accused No.1.
Therefore, this court feels it necessary to hear accused No.1 in this behalf and to record personal say of accused No.1 if any in this behalf in the ends of justice. Therefore, the following directions with observations. ORDER
That for the reasons afore mentioned, the accused No.1 shall appear before this court personally and shall co-operate in the matter of commencement of trial as this court, as per Canons of Law rendered by the Hon'ble Apex Court and also by the Hon'ble High Court of Karnataka, cannot entertain the exemption applications filed either U/sec.273 or U/sec.317 of Cr.PC on all dates of hearing. For appearance of accused No.1 by 21.08.2019.

That's less than 120 days away. We've already started the countdown.
Of course, it will be held in a location 'to be announced'. Baited breath.
OK, one way to look at this is that Mr. Nithyananda has the confidence to hold his first Paramashivoham after one year. The last one was an online event where he conducted it while hiding. Although there were 'takers', it didn't go so well, as we conclude. There was no follow up after that. And, even the Nithyananda marketing machine couldn't sell another one. Word-of-mouth from the milked followers told the true story.
So, Nithyananda, who certainly has run out of pocket change and worst yet, relevancy to his (once) devout followers (who are dwindling as each day passes) is desperate to keep his remaining flock within the fold. So, much so, that he will say just about anything (and has) to try to keep himself relevant and those now dusty pada pooja sets from going into the trash (where they belong).
Let's see what happens when he actually starts to collect money for this grand event and see if the cult offers rain checks. Stay tuned.

DeleteI too feel Nithyananda will escape as the judiciary and the govts are too incompetent in this case. It has been over 10 years and the case is still more or less in its infancy. The SC has ordered it to be completed quickly, but to no avail. As someone suggested the only way to bring him to justice is through public forums. He has been making ridiculous claims lately, hold that against him. The Kannada groups attack peace loving people for speaking in Hindi, yet they are silent on this fellow who has abused Kannadigas in the past. Wonder why ?

They should have waited patiently with the tapes and collected 100s of ex devotees stories of fraud and abuse and THEN together they could have destroyed nithyafraud in one day. Sorry, we're not buying it.
First, the link showed alleged screenshots but not the source in which they came from. There is no verification whatsoever. In addition to that, we typed some EXACT text, placed quote marks around the text, and did a search for it on Google. Nada. No results even came close. So, if she really did write this and it is not a cut-and-paste job, then she either deleted it or placed it in some far corner of the web universe that was off-limits to intrusive Google (highly unlikely).
Second. Sarah Stephanie Landry still has an active Facebook handle by her cult name, “Ma Nithya Swaroopapriyananda”. Only a small disclaimer in her ‘about’ section that says, “I made this page when I was a member of the Nithyananda Organization, which I have left. This is a place where I share what interests me.”
No apology. No advice on how to get out. Nothing. She lured hundreds if not thousands of people to Nithyananda’s camp. She is ‘busy’ hawking her handcrafted jewelry with precious stones. Yes, she is very precious indeed. But, we admit that she would look fitting with sapphire studded custom handcuffs.
Third. She has not removed her contentious petition on change.org, which is entitled “Stop the Attack Against (sic) Swamiji”. Full of lies. More lies. And outright lies. No one of any decency could write this. No one who has any conscious could keep this post up. No one with a brain could believe this libel. Yet, there it is with over 11,000 signatures and growing. We cannot wait to file a lawsuit against her, obtain a huge judgment, and then levy her Etsy account. Yes, we have the video of her and her mother spreading cult lies, so we will also make her mother a defendant. They can split their attorney’s fees right down the middle. Let’s see if they enjoy abject poverty together.
So, we are of the opinion that Sarah Stephanie Landry, a.k.a. Ma Nithya Swaroopapriyananda, should enjoy no protection, benefit of the doubt, anything. Denied full and in part. She needs to be very public with involvement, remove her contentious material, and cooperate fully with the authorities that will lead Nithyananda safely behind bars.

Expanded all the comments. Expanded all the long comments. And, nowhere did we find that Ms. Landry told the truth and about Nithyananda’s camp. Did you send the right video?
The closest form of an apology from Ms. Landry is: “When I was in art school, art was my life. When I was into One In God, that was my life. When I was into Nithyananda, that was my life. Now, I'm trying to be more diplomatic and open to everything without again jumping into the deep end of any system or belief.”
To her credit, Ms. Landry did allow honest comments that were critical to the cult. One person, David Steckbauer, shared how she was suicidal after leaving Nithyananda. He thought that Nithyananda had the monopoly to Divine, but his inner-voice was telling him to get out. We’re glad he did. (It’s worth finding and reading his comment.)
So, please tell us where we can find that Ms. Landry actually warns people that Nithyananda runs a cult. A sinister one at that. It is NOT in this video.
As you might recall, in addition to some very nasty libel, Ms. Landry has given us death threats. She has a lot of explaining to do. As far as we are concerned, she can do all the explaining she wants in front of a judge and jury.
