ReplyDeleteIf you are from rural India you know how dogs engage in sex during their mating season. A bunch of male dogs tries to guard a pair of dog engaged in sex, with the understanding that they will get a turn and make sure no other dogs of the outside the mohollah can enter in the scene. The police dogs will bark louder at others who wants to jump in. The whole situation was just looking like that with the dogs replaced by Nithya followers - strange.
this rouge jayeshwara's original name is arut selvan. he is the ex healer who lives near ulsooru, bangalore. He got more close to Nithyananda after the sex CD was released for whatever reasons.

ReplyDeleteAs I mentioned in my earlier post, the situation is worrisome. Nithy's supporters seem to be getting agitated and are showing it in the streets. They have no clue how angry the general populace is. Some more incidents like this and Nithy's supporters will get lynched like the guy in the video almost got. You can judge the seriousness when the locals start targetting people in "religious" clothes. They never do that to genuine renunciants who are held in very high esteem. It is obvious that the people have had enough and have only contempt towards Nithy and his cult members.

A. We work all over the world. We have centres in 35 countries. We work in the US, Singapore, Malaysia and many other countries. We have many people who claim Swamiji's content, speeches and videos as their own and sell it; we wanted to protect ourselves from that. Secondly in the USA there are places where depictions of Ganesha and Devi's are considered pornographic and we do the Abhishekam. So these NDAs were created mostly to protect ourselves in the West. It might have been worded incorrectly, in fact I'm sure I've signed it but I haven't even read it. Also asking anyone to sign that document is not illegal, it is a holistic document, and we are not even lawyers, having the document is not illegal, the document is not implement able. Indulging in the activities would be illegal, but we'd like to state once and for all that never have we ever indulged in any activity that can be considered illegal or immoral in this ashram. We are simple people who only want to meditate (we doubt, you guys wanna
masterbate). This is such an onslaught on our lives, but hopefully this too will pass!
I have been charged Rs. 2000/- odd to buy the varadhamurthy. Was made to believe that its a boon giving God. Later thousands of call from Dyanapeetam literally forved me to do pada pooja for Nithyananda for which they charged rs. 25000 and flowers costume and sweets are extra that you need to carry.

You say Jesus was not enlightened but then, see nithy , even that ordinary Jesus prayed at the cross to forgive the people who put him on cross. We think Jesus was so compassionate, so loving very much opposite to what you are. The society needs "Jesus" and his teachings to be put in practice not a Mafia gang. If you dont change atleast now it will take many more lives down the road for you all to be atleast humane forget big things like Mukti/ Moksha.

What is it that we want and esure that public's enrage towards Nithy is just and fair.... with no ill-feelings towards Nithy or his inner circle folks, will yield far impacting results... just the way Gandhi achieved silently without losing focus and getting diverted.. till the truth triumphed.. shall we emulate... the same and bring Nithy's flag down by asking him to sign the NDA with this blog and raise another or hand over silently on his own to other suitable organisation - all of his Bidadi palace and the golden thrones....you need subtler defence and impactful results !!

He said that the episode had shaken the faith of many devotees. “We believe that Swamijis are next only to God, but this one episode has tainted the faith and belief of thousands of devotees. This one person has actually brought a bad name to the entire clan of Godmen,” said Mr Patel.
He added that he would not bend to any influence, pressure or threat from anyone to stop this movie. “I know there will be pressure on me to stop this movie, but I will not give in to pressure,” said Mr Patel, who will be directing the film himself.

This is blasphemy of the highest order and needs to be pointed out to the Hindu organizations. I have never ever heard about Lord Ganesh or a Devi being considered pornographic depictions in the West. There are so many temples dedicated to the above dieties and they seem to be operating fine without NDAs.

Vimalananda's case is pretty disturbing. I was able to gather some more information from the web but it seems to be a case of horrendous intimidation. And an eyeopener for anyone wanting to be a part of the cult and a scary thought for people left over in the cult. From what I have gathered so far:-
ReplyDeleteVimalananda has been accused of molestation between 2006 & 2008. He left the cult in mid-2009. The case was filed last month and Vimalananda arrested briefly(??). His passport has been seized as he is considered "flight-risk". His cell phone records were pulled out and the police did find some calls made to the girl's cell phone.
I am baffled:-
1) Why was the case filed so late? And that too, after the videos were leaked.
2) The girl has a cellphone. Is it common for 10 years old (especially in the Indian community) to have private cell phones.
3) Vimalanada might have made late night calls but we volunteers know how hard and how long we used to work when we were in the cult. Is is likely Vimalananda used to call to connect to the girl's parents?
4) Why is Vimalananda so silent? All I am hearing is from the cult's side. I wish I could hear from his side so that we all could have some clarity.
5) What was the need for the girl's parents to publicize this even if the allegations were true? The police in USA will be more than glad to handle this discreetly and yet mete out justice to protect the girl. Have the parents realized that by going public could damage the girl's future prospects everywhere. Are they aware how the kids could torment her? If anyone has been following the news recently, it was sad to read about how many kids committed suicide because of torments from peers. Usually, the Indian community handles these events discreetly. But the publicity makes me get a strong feeling that it is to scapegoat Vimalananda and to bully anyone else who would dare to expose NithyaNanga.
Either way, I point out to the cult members:-
1) If Vimalananda is innocent and this is a retribution case, then it is time to dismantle the organization and put all the members to jail and dispose off the properties.
2) Vimalananda is guilty and Nithyananda did not know about it:-What kind of an avaatara purusha is this who cannot even protect the little ones from his own organization from his own close confidants? What kind of mind reader or future reader is he? Did he not even realize the nature of people that he was supposed to have handpicked?
3) Vimalananda is guilty and Nithyananda knew about it: Why was the case not filed way back and that too discreetly to protect the girl? And on top of that he made advances towards Vimalananda (an alleged pedophile)...Holy smoke!!!!
I have told the existing members who are still in the organization arguing about Vimalananda's character:-It does not matter. The fact remains that Vimalananda was in the organization during the time of the alleged events and the organization needs to be taken to task as he was a member of the organization during that period(just like the Vatican is getting pulled for the recent child abuse events).
Hopefully, I hear from Vimalananda's side soon.

What is the real job of the CID – protecting criminals or protecting the truth?
Why this special animosity against Paramahamsa Nithyananda and his followers?
Isn’t this whole chargesheet a cover-up act for the fact that the CID is yet to find a single victim (real, not ‘anonymous’) for any of the charges against Nithyananda?
What is their real give and take with Lenin? In other words, how much are they getting in return for these criminal activities?
In a country where the law-enforcement agencies turn criminals, where are the innocent people to turn?
If this is not legally sanctioned religious persecution, what is?

Their lawyers make statements in their favor. Here you got bunch of stupids who are desperate to get away with this mess and trying every alternative. The police will in fact use their statements as arguments to drill them. Bhakta is like the greatest number ZERO. No matter how much big number you multiply by ZERO the result is ZERO. Its important for we people to have a Bhakta-type guy in Nithya's team. If Bhakta with his bald head strikes a rock wall, the rock will cry in pain - his head is stronger. These chaps are all supposed to be monks (have taken sannyas). Doesn't look that way with these ladies dress, using all cosmetics and so on. Sannyas means krichha-sadhan (tough life). This is all colorful. Do they use saffron chaddi and bra as well? Saffron Salwars exist in Dhonpith. Bhakta is definitely taking ghee massage these days of his bald head. Bunch of clowns trying to defend the fact they are robbers and sex offenders. Another joker on a video named "Guru Bhakti" will become Nithya soon. So far he is sitting on a costly couch, soon it will be a silver throne. The deal is Nithya has promised many of his folks money and krorpati status. They have become pet dog and slave of Nithya. Even if Nithya and others made a mess on their face they will say - ohh so sweet paayesam.

ReplyDeleteJust a word of caution. The Nithyananda cult organization is notorious for making frivolous and baseless complaints on other people's YouTube videos just to get them taken down. They are nasty folks. (though they themselves are very notorious for plagiarizing and making money off of other people's material). I have seen them do that to quite a few youtube videos.

Weird customs by a weird swamy. These rituals are only to fool the people. Dancing around a dead body exists in India but why should an enlightened guy do it? People who are grieving do it to come out of it. This weird behavior of Nithyananda looks like a drunk psycho.

One takes a 'tiki' on his head/hair when taking sannyas. A viraja-yagya is a havan when one burns his own tiki in the fire and finally goes beyond sannyas ashram. After virajaa-yagya one takes shelter in very remote corner and goes absconding from any sannyas-ashram. He is all alone by then. He has to sacrifice his name gothra ashram disciples even guru and anything that he possessed in three forms sthul-sukshma-karan. This is the final stage of a blood and flesh man as per the shastra. He does not identify himself as any ***ananda anymore then. That's a rule.
ReplyDeleteThe meaning of death is different to different people. A person who has done the viraja-yagya (and that's only possible for a avadhoot) imagines his death as a matter of glory. A avadhoot does his own sradha-kriya when he comes to know that he has received his call. He has to do his shradh when alive. He doesn't care for others to do it for him. Drums are also beaten sometimes. There is no such social or religious rules of pomp during death for any ordinary fellow.
Thanks Anonymous for the youtube postings. How things have changed and how I have realized how fragile my mind is. Though I read extensively and felt that I have a good rational mind, I see how it can also be manipulated. If I were to see this before I left the cult, I would have thought that these were the acts of an enlightened master. Now when I see these videos, I have no doubt that Nithy is acting. As usual, it is utterly obnoxious for anyone on this planet to disrespect the parent's funeral. I am just waiting for some more insights into the cultural aspects of the traditions of Nithyananda's family or caste before I will draw final conclusions.

These are the latest and directly from someone who has been very close to the organization. These give the direct facts (with dates, names etc to the T). Just like the "Wandering" article on this website which shook me to the core and finally convinced me that Nithy was a crook, these articles are shaking me and showing me what a dangerous person this Rajasekaran is. We all need to coordinate, reach out to people and expose Nithyananda fully to the Indian people. I do not believe the Indian legal system will do much. These cases will only drag on and on unless the CID fasttracks them. But the Indian public (like the Jessica Lal case) once convinced that the guy is a danger to all will mete out to him the right justice and the Indian people may be simpleminded people but they are no fools.

Talk about poor journalism and this news clip has it all. Leading statements calculated to instigate(disciples are agressive, something to hide in the ashram,etc without any supporting DATA). The news clip seemingly justifys the beating up of the disciple - shouldnt those guys be put in jail for beating up an unarmed guy as well ? The news clip says the disciple assaulted the media and hence was justifyably beaten up by the locals. But later on it says he shoved aside the media person, to me it appears that he got pushed as he got too close to the car. Its opionanted journalism at its worst - I still am not clear what exactly happened
I remember in the early days, all the media was all over saying that the locals were so angry that they burnt part of the ashram. Now this TV9 reporter hints that the ashram set the fire itself - please decide one way and report it - and shouldnt the guys who burnt - its an act of rioting be found out and be put in jail as well ?

ReplyDeleteSo that was a Kali aavatara? Oh my gosh! I recollect my good friend's experiences in the last Yogam tour. In one of the places (Columbus or New York), at the end of the program, when the volunteers were dancing, Nithy was urging his female volunteers (including Ranjitha) to get on the dance floor. When they did not, Nithy himself got on the dance floor and showed them the dance of Krishna Lila, Shiva Darshan and Devi darshan. Most of the devotees were mesmerized but my friend was not. She is a seasoned spiritual praticant for a very long time. She has a very great spiritual guru and has been to many spiritual places and even met many great yogis and Lamas. She said that Nithy first showed Krishna avatara in Lila dance, then whispered something to the DJ, who changed the music to Shiva Thandava dance. Nithy then showed his Shiva avatara dance after again the whisper. DJ changed music to Devi one and Nithy showed the Devi avatara. My friend has seen many occult practices in India and Tibet and is very familiar with the essences of these "possessions of body". She said that the show convinced her that Nithy was a fraud. First, it cannot be a public display as it is a very esoteric and secret practice. Second, it is an elaborate process and even the "possession" or "descension" is a retracted process taking a long time. Anyone following the Dalai Lama and how he fled to India on the advise of the Oracle will attest what an esoteric practice it is. She said that there was no way for anyone to get the aavatars just by the flick of a finger as Nithy was showing and no way that Nithy could change between Krishna, Shiva and the Devi avaatars in a few minutes as the consciousness that they represent are significantly different. And to top this, after showing the avatars, Nithy runs out of the group towards Ranjitha and hugs her. Of course, the group is awed about seeing the show but my friend noticed all this and smelled things fishy. She quit the cult right then.

Yes, there is merit in your words, but it doesn't tell the whole picture. Various people got pulled in for various reasons. Some had spouses that ran to Nithyananda's feet. When faced with a divorce, they chose to follow, at least for a while. Others had family members such as parents who sucked in their children. Remember how Nithyananda made all the just-turned-18 and about-to-turn-18 daughters all sit in front during one of his lectures? What if these young girls were called to do seva (service) in Nithyananda's personal quarters after hours? What then? They are now trapped. Others got sucked in to donate large sums of money to sponsor a deity in a so-called Vedic Temple. What could be better service than to sponsor a statue of Divinity in a new temple? These are all traps.
So, let's not blame the victims entirely. Nithyananda and his inner-circle cronies laid out a dastardly, multi-tiered cult trap. This wasn't the work of an opportunistic conman, but an organized criminal syndicate. Let us uncover Truths to help those that are still stuck come and use their intellect and be able to discern. Brainwashing is real. It is a mental illness. Let's treat this illness with healing love and sympathy, not with isolation like a leper camp in the 18th century.
Just the same, we need to keep the Truths in the open so that people can see and not fall into the trap in the first place. Back in 2003 through 2009, there was very little indeed that exposed the Truth about Nithyananda's fraud. That has changed, and the numbers of potential victims has dropped. But, the job is not over. Nithyananda's warmed over Osho-me-too speeches and promises from brainwashed marketeers like Nithyananda Dheera offer a promise that most people really would like to believe is true.
For those that are contemplating and tempted by Nithyananda and his false promises, we offer them this advice. Take time, lots of sweet, unhurried time, to get to know Nithyananda and his Mission before jumping in. The brainwashed followers and cult criminals will tell you differently. They will say that you have to act now or you will miss. This should be a red flag. Get to know your guru first. See how he or she acts in private. Don't just fall for the sweet words. Radiator water is also sweet. Animals who are not able to recognize its poisonous nature lick it up with enthusiasm. The results are harrowing.
Instead, equip your mind with the armor of True Masters. Anything from the Ramakrishna Mission is going to be good. Reading The Gospel of Sri Ramakrishna and The Complete Works of Swami Vivekananda is a good place to start one's spiritual journey. With sincerity, knowledge, and utilizing one's full intellect (not your emotions), a true seeker will not fall into Nithyananda's cult trap or any other cult.

Divinity cannot be purchased at any cost. It is to earned out of tireless work. This has got nothing to do with religion; its independent of the faith. When one promises victory in spirituality in a stipulated time, it is obvious that the guy is fake. People who fail to understand this are either ignorant of basic stuffs or must take the blame at least partially on themselves. Performing dogmas of ones own religion can no way be be an act of socializing. However religion has more or less become a way to socialize in western world, and, the reason is 'busy life'. The moment religion becomes a way to socialize its diluted, and crooks like Nithya will pop in. Nithya is not the first guy to rally with a bunch of non hindus and calling them anandas; this has happened before and happened in US. Nithya will fall that's for sure and some other guy will take on after sometime. There will be victims again, but a different class of people. Hindus back in the US or other parts of the world need to understand this and perform their religious duties in their home - it does make them safer and still abide by their values. Throwing a single piece of flower at Lord's feet and throwing a lakh of flowers all has same value; God is not pacified by one's strength of wallet but just by total surrendering. Make your home a temple and pray the way you feel comfortable; do not fall in trap. Hinduism is a complete story, there is no loser in it. No other religion gives that hope, nothing to worry at all; everything is predestined. He who brought you here will give you salvation if he wants; don't go to a shop for salvation; beg it from Lord.

Yes, I practiced Nithya Dhyan regularly and have practised all the Chakra and other meditation techniques ( I have attended LBP, NSP, YSP, Kalpataru etc and many other programs).

Luckily right from the beginning I was gaurded by unseen forces to maintain a distance and hence never ended up by being a full time ashramite. I have read all the engish books, listened to most of his discourses, attended all his programs, been on trips and was an Ananda Samajite too.
Now, if Nithyananda has atleast written one book on his own , he would not have been what he is today, leave alone enghtenment. As some of them have already mentioned, everything has been carefully taken from Osho and re- printed in the name of nithyananda. Right from the beginning this cult has been giving problems to Brahmacharis/brahmacharinis. Being a regular visitor to the ashram, I know so many cases where they are tortured to the core and then sent out if they dont fall in tune with them. Talk to someone who attended Nithyanandam early 2008 and find out how a Brahmacharini was handled by Ayya in Ananda sabha. That batch ( most of them were organisers)is a witness of what this cult is. But then this cult is super smart to cover up things under the guise of "Kutarka and vitarka". So people were made to believe what ayya told them to cover up the whole thing. Now, look at Vimalananda's case. Do you know the background, do you know the reality ? They are just bad mouthing him now in such a way that the new members think him to be a villain.This is a cult. They just wanted to make huge money in the name of spirituality. They treat people like race horses and doormats - just use and throw. Please dont try to support this cult without knowing anything. There is no way one can write a philosophy in a subject unless he/she is technically well versed with the subject. Techniques are finally forgotten but that's a difficult walk one has to take to be a philosopher. Have you asked yourself the following question? You wanted to move ahead with spirituality, so you went to a master. Similarly, Nithya wanted to move ahead in the same direction, whom did he learn things from. Who is Nithya's guru? Are you aware of it. It is a certainty that Nithya has no guru. He is sort of svyambhu - one who calls himself guru without going to a guru. Keep in mind that even Adi Shankaracharya had a guru whom he met during Narmada parikrama, even if he was able to memorize vedas and explain it at the age of four. We have put this question several times here on this blog, no answer came. Nithya is without a true guru parampara - we challenge it. As a little proof (and there exists load of more and can cite if a debate happens) watch the video of the death ritual. One can never chant a purnahuti mantra while setting fire to a dead. The purnahuti mantra is mend for completely different purpose. Mantras are not bunch of sanskrit it means something whether one knows it or not. Even we can argue why the sanskrit language is made of 50/51 letters and no more or less. We are aware of things. However he was chanting it because its a common one which can be recited by any one with little knowledge of rituals, to give others a feel he is confident with the way a funeral goes. The only one who can be so versed with funeral procedures is a priest who works in a cemetery. He does things in his own way - that's not hinduism sanatan dharma. If you believe the following sloka from Gita you know that one without proper training in Shastra cannot excel. It's impossible - many tried but finally got caught up. A siddha can't do the way Nithya did.

One who does not abide by the rules of shastra and does things on his own way, can't have any siddhi, no happiness, and has no direction.
If anyone who drinks and sleeps with women is a tantra siddha, then the biggest tantra siddhas are at strip bars. What siddhi Ramkrishna have then?
The powers of Nithya that people speak of are those that magician PC Sarkar possess. PC Sarkar doesn't call himself Paramhamsa.
The bunch of bull crap that Nithya chants in the beginning of every program saying 'vande guru paramparam' is just to make sure and cover up the fact he has no guru. A sadhak is not identified by the names of Shankaracharya. Adi Shankaracharya is the first guru of Dashanami sampraday to which all gurus today belong - nevertheless a sadhak is identified upon revealing the names of his last four uttar-gurus; Nithya can't name them. You are not identified by saying your origin is from Adam and Eve, you say your parents, grand parents, great grand parents name.

I attended 2007 nithyanandam but did not really notice anything weird. The only thing I found odd was, he said, the universe runs in his hands but he needed a stick to walk and a driver to drive his car. I would think for a guy who holds the sun and the earth in his hands can easily carry his own weight.
What happened in 2008 nithyanandam?

It was just like any other political rally, you were only trying to defend yourself and nothing more. You were just vommitting your venom. Something tells me, eventually it will be mob which will stone him to death. Yes this SOB is still completely arrogant and day by day more people are waking up, like my aunt from Chennai who was still following him till recently. Finally with all the antics of the ashram and Bhakta and so on, she realized something is not right and she has thrown her mala, Nithy pics etc in of those dirty overflowing garbage bins outside her house. An orthodox Hindu here. Strongly object to every body including the media referring to the term "Saint" or "Sant" for addressing Nithya. The sentence -"Saint Nithyananda's sleaze video was exposed" or things of that kind makes no sense. A saint has absolutely no reason to indulge in sleaze acts. So one who does that is NOT a saint. Whether he is criminal, we'll have to wait for court's verdict. But Nithya is - NOT A SAINT. STOP calling him like that. Being a saint is a state of mind, its NOT A STATE OF DRESS.

Many people are outraged rightfully of the fact that Nithyananda and his inner circle of cheaters and thugs including but not limited to Bhaktananda, Sadhananda, Sachitananda, Medhananda, Pranananda, etc., have disgraced religious sentiment, cheated people from their beliefs and material possessions, and act in an organized way to ensure that rape and sexual assault occurred to many. Even worse, there is not even an iota of remorse and reconciliation from these criminals. Their actions continue to offend. Their is no hope that these poor beings will mend on their own.
As wicked and evil as these people act under the cover of their organization, let us not advocate for violence and 'mob rule'. We do not support those remedies on this blog to even those low-lifes.
Instead, do keep awareness high to yourselves and for others to know how rotten these people are and how deceitful they are in their methods. Knowledge is a weapon that will allow others to think straight and not to be deceived. Do support the CID Police team and authorities in the U.S., Canada, etc. They need more evidence and more witnesses ready to testify. They do not need more crimes and threats. Nithyananda and his organization already has the monopoly on those. Let them keep it to themselves. Do not build bad karma through unrighteous acts. But, do build good karma by coming forward and exposing these crimes through peaceful, legal, and non-violent ways.

ReplyDeleteI just read in one report the following sentence by the judge ministry, which is relevant in the recent PR attempts by Nithy's fellows (Bhakta et al).
"Criminal proceedings cannot be turned into a 'press conference' where any allegation, preposterous as it may be, can just be spouted."
The recent Tiruvannamalai event was the latest attempt at a public press conference disguised as a "satsang". Nithy seems to believe that the more outrageous the lie, the more people will believe it.
[Note: I am not insinuating that Nithy is a rapist - that needs to be proved in a court of law. But the truth about the video and its contents is apparent to anyone with half a brain cell.
Also note, that that quote above about press conferences applies to Lenin as well. It just shows the state of the legal system in India.]

ReplyDeleteFrom what I read on this site and the standup site, Nithy celebrated his b'day in Tiruvanamalai. I read that people are upset with his temple visit and some anti-Nithy guys are upset at the number of people who are supposed to have attended his celebrations. I am still waiting to read factual news.
First of all, it is no big deal to get 10-20,000 people in India to attend functions. Everyone knows that it is easy to pay some poor and get them to attend. This kind of "padding" is done in most of the political rallies. I haven't watched Nithy's (it is tough to watch him as I am tired of his lies) but is it possible that the same method was employed?
Second, let us face the facts. Nithy will always have some followers who will breathe with him to the last. Cults are known for that.
Third, I see Nithy's followers active in commenting on any article in the newspapers. They are spreading misinformation like hell.
Fourth, I see that Nithy has gone on the offensive. He is confidently claiming that the video is morphed in public.
Fifth, I read that Ranjitha too has a filed a case against Lenin today and is claiming that the video is morphed.
SOMETHING IS COOKING.
Honestly, I am concerned for Lenin. Taking on a megalomaniac and a diabolical organization will stretch him to the full. We all need to assure him that we are with him at this critical juncture. I am considering my own ways of tackling this Nithy menace (I don't want to publish it here as Nithy's cult followers read this site regularly).

Nithy's website says that there were 23,00 devotees at thiruvanamalai and there was a procession on the streets of thiruvannamalai. Nithy himself was running for his life and there were about thousand odd who were brought/bought from Bidadi village.

However, the way things are going, and Nithya is trying out all ways to bowl out Lenin, it seems one fine day Nithya will pull out a paper from his chaddi in the court which says he is married to Ranjitha and Ranjitha will complain Lenin was filming their Suhag-Raat. And then again another fine day Ranjitha will say that she was in trance when she declined her presence in the video before the magistrate and Nithya's soul was out of the body during that time due to the obvious reason, so Nithya doesn't know anything about these statements.

This conference of Ranjitha is just a stupid thing as she is declaring that Lenin filmed them; which is equivalent in the sense of mathematical logic that she was in the video. If she is certain that she wasn't there, then Lenin can't film her. Lenin just placed the camera, he did not know to morph - he's a driver. And if Lenin was such a guy to morph a video, then he would have worked with Microsoft and not stay in the Brothel house of Bidadi. Thanks Ranjitha for your intelligent explanation.
