Part 3: Swami Nithyananda's Record at Healing

Swami Nithyananda's Quackery Clone Pales to a Comparison

When we last left you in our blog post from yesterday, "Part 2: Nithyananda's Record at Healing" (recommended to read before Part), poor Swami Nithyananda almost had his five-hour lunch served by a real cute female disciple disturbed in order to answer more questions about Swami Nithyananda's healing record. Fortunately, we agreed to do the interview around five o'clock when Swami Nithyananda was finished sampling all of his tasty treats.

I enter Swami Nithyananda's personal quarters. His hair looks like he's been sleeping, but he looks, well, very drained. Wow, thanks, there, Swami Nithyananda. Rrraugghhmmm. My translator in gruntnese says that means to make it quick. Say, isn't that a pair of panties on the floor? Sri Nithyananda, were you getting in touch with your female energies or were you 'shedding' some of those female energies? Raragrruama. Oh, my Gruntanese translator tells me he's really pissed now. Better go lightly.

OK, Sri Nithyananda, since you're a healing 'enlightened' master, do you prioritize giving healing to those that ask? Swami Nithyananda, you will say, "Yes" (in that standard Gruntanese), but guess what, I will say, "Not really." Sri Nithyananda during the opening ceremony for the Vedic Temple in Montclair, so you remember how there were about six handicapped people lined up in wheel chairs, etc. waiting for your healing? And, did you attend to them? "Arghhhh", you, Sri Nithyananda, say. (That means, "of course", in Gruntanese. You know, I was beginning to wonder where Swami Nithyananda learned to talk like a  nethanderal man, and then I remembered; A CLICK! It must be natural to him. He lived in a cave for nine months after claiming to be 'enlightened'.) Yes, Sri Nithyananda, I think you eventually saw those people... after making them wait hours and hours. Did you, Swami Nithyananda, do this to make them value your 'healing' session even more? Or, did you, Sri Nithyananda, so this to use them as 'marketing props', so everyone who came to the temple could see that you, Sri Nithyananda, real live handicapped people waiting to be 'healed' by you, an 'enlightened 'healing' master? Or, did you do it because you, Sri Nithyananda, know that your so-called 'healing' is a load of cow dung and that everyone will see firsthand that these people will have no change in their lives? Anyway, I hope that you, Sri Nithyananda, at least gave them a crossword puzzle or something to help them pass all that time. While I'm waiting for your answer, I think I will work on my crossword puzzle now. Sri Nithyananda, what's a nine-letter word that describes your operation? The first four letters are C-H-A-R and the last three letters are T-A-N. (Click Here to find out the answer. Come on, it's pretty good.)

And, Swami Nithyananda, what about your ashramites? Is their health pretty good? Sri Nithyananda, if they can stand and work, that doesn't mean that they are healthy. After all, you make them work! work! work! with no sleep! no sleep! no sleep! in order to build your empire in record time. Without having much sleep, are you, Sri Nithyananda, afraid that they might get sick or hurt? Oh, yes, you will take care of it. I remember that's a standard line down at the ashram. Did you take care of it after Sevakananda, Paramananda, and Bhatkananda had all those auto accidents? And, wasn't there some white guy in your ashram that worked so hard that he fell asleep at the wheel while driving a big truck on the freeway, much to the horror of his passenger from Ohio? Wow, Sri Nithyananda, I guess you're right. It would only take a miraculous 'healing' master to prevent them from having a serious or fatal accident. Just the same, I never saw a bunch of cars get dented so fast than visiting your ashram.

Now, that you, Sri Nithyananda, have taken care of that part of not having any sleep, how about the health issues of having sleep deprivations? After all, wouldn't it be nice to have healthy ashramites to represent an 'enlightened' healing master? Sri Nithyananda, you do recommend meditation and yoga?  Or, at least that's a way you, Swami Nithyananda, can draw people into your organization. So with all that sattvic (pure) food, meditations, and yoga, how come a lot of your ashramites got so overweight?

Swami Nithyananda. Hello. Swami Nithyananda. Do'h! Sumadhi again. I have one last picture. Oh, Sri Nithyananda, here's a very pretty picture of an ideal disciple of yours. She obviously pays a lot of attention to where her 'inner world' meets the 'outer world', in fact, that's probably why she's a lingerie model.

Sri Nithyananda, welcome back. So, why did the ashramites get so super-sized? Oh, I remember now. They don't need to do any of that meditation and yoga stuff. They're already 'enlightened'. And, besides, you will take care of them... and doing service is much better than that beginner's stuff like meditations and yoga. So, that explains all those extra pounds. True, Swami Nithyananda, you do 'require' your ashramites to do Nithya Dhyaan, your standard meditation everyday, early in the morning... but the ashramites are never held accountable to do that... and when they just had three hours of sleep, getting up to do Nithya Dhyaan just doesn't seem that worth while when you just experienced the ecstasy of sleep deprivations. So, that's how you get all of your ashramites to have visions, just take away their sleep and then their body logic takes over their mind logic. Makes perfect sense to me. So, I'm getting an understanding, Swami Nithyananda, you let your ashramites get so overweight out of your compassion and love. For now, with your ashramites, there's definitely more to love. Crystal clear.

Then of course there is your golden boy, Swami Medhananda. Wow, Sri Nithyananda, Swami Medhananda is sure good at imitating you. Medhananda knows all of your stories and the same Osho jokes that you, Sri Nithyananda, also tell. Some think that he is the only one of your disciples, besides you, Sri Nithyananda, who is genuinely enlightened. Swami Nithyananda, do you think that instead of Sri Nithya Medhananda Swami, a better name would be Sri Nithya Mini-Meananda Swami? Maybe you can wait until his last documentation such as credit cards, driver license, passport, everything is changed over to his latest spiritual name, then you can change his name from Sri Nithya Medhananda Swami to Sri Nithya Mini-Meananda Swami? What do you think? That would be perfect in making sure that you, Sri Nithyananda, are really 'working on him'.

So, Sri Nithyananda, if Swami Medhananda is like your Mini-Me, do you think that it might be a good investment to perform some laser eye surgery so that Swami Medhananda is not wearing those thick coke-bottom-glasses? And, Sri Nithyananda, you really need to let Swami Medhananda see a doctor about his swollen feet that has that inflamed skin condition with peeling skin oozing with inflected blisters. Sri Nithyananda, I know that is probably why you require him to wear sandals and socks indoors everywhere. A lot of people think that Swami Medhananda's foot attire is part of an entitlement package of being enlightened. Yes, having Swami Medhananda wearing shoes and socks does add to both of your mystics. Brilliant idea, there, Sri Nithyananda. Swami Medhananda's footwear requirement not only keeps your reputation intact but also prevents anyone from getting the same disease that Swami Medhananda has. I guess that is called preventative healing. Good on you, Nithyananda. This way, those donations keep flowing and you do not have to spend a single dime on a doctor. That’s good business sense.

Follow your dharma. Use your common sense. Listen to your inner-conscience, and follow the Truth. Come out of this trap, and escape from this fraudulent cult.

  1. Now you have started to sound like a broken record; Where is all the fire???? You are just going on and on about the same stuff now and no substance. If you indeed are speaking the truth and have evidence to what you say, then what are you waiting for. Let the authorities know about these things and stop more people from getting carried away into the trap. Its cruel to let that happen!

  2. The stories here are so amazing. Though I heard many them before, some of it I saw, it is still an eye-opener to read them here. Please keep a copy of this blog including comments and all. It may become a great story book on the detailed account of an wicked cult leader and the followers.

I would like to know more about the story of the ashramite at Bidadi who was order to remain silent (no speaking at all) for over a year and later rewarded with the Nithy voice. I heard Nithy told this story a few times but still don't know he could really give another person his voice. I prefer my own imperfect voice any time! lol

  3. Om Namah Shivaya,

Hi Anon, Thanks for the post. So you think we're sounding like a broken record? Yes, you are right. We want to break all the records that Sri Nithyananda has claimed as 'truths' but are really lies to entrap others. Let me repeat, We want to break all the records that... OK, maybe there's some truth in your comment. I promise no more blogs about Nithyananda's 'healing' for at least another week. :-)

And you said, "Where is all the fire?" Well, usually it is best to say "Ready, Aim" and then "Fire". Although the American in me just wants to say "Fire" and forget all of those formalities.

Yes, awareness is the very first step to get prevent people from falling into this trap and getting those who have fallen into this trap out. I would be shocked if the authorities were not already monitoring Sri Nithyananda and his cult. Perhaps the FBI is reading this post the same time you are.

Thanks for the idea. I think a good blog post would be a resource page on how all law abiding citizens can give confidential tips about this cult and its practices. Stay tuned.

    Jai Maa.

  4. This cult is a tax cheat at best. It is not a non-profit religious charity as it claims. Religion is the pretext to ensnare sincere people into servitude, and generous donors into giving big money.

Any group that uses volunteer labor extensively while charging outrages price for its programs cannot qualify as "charity". It is more a scam than a charity.

Please write any story that comes to you. I mean I heard some stories form somewhere else before - not to imply that you are repetitious. Please write repetition and all. Some folks still don't get it.

Thank you very much for this blog.

  5. I agree with Jai Maa...there is NO substance to all of this crap that you are dishing out about Swamiji..anyone can gossip and it sounds like sour grapes...jealously will get you nowhere...if you are so bent on bending him then NAME NAMES ETC. are you a chicken? or are you just out to have a popular website blog ??? Seems to me that a person who is "supposed to be having all of this illicit sex" is very busy and would't have time...and I don't think that "all" the people that have been around him for years would put up with "just being around him:" for the sake of it ! Let' see it YOU have the b____s to post this note....

  6. Om Namah Shivaya,

Hi anon, thanks for the post. Yes, I agree that the allegations of Sri Nithyananda taking advantage of his female devotees is going to get emotions up. Just the same, we stand behind our the evidence of what we have seen. As stated before, if called to court, under penalty of perjury, we will not only name the names of all of the ladies we known who have been in Sri Nithyananda's private quarters alone for an extended period of time, but we will also name the names of those that made the arrangements. Sorry, we will not post these names online.

Since I have been accused of being a 'broken record' there's other comments just on this subject at this post:

Do the Math - Nithyananda's Enlightenment Timeline Doesn't Add Up

It is interesting that you mentioned the words 'sour grapes' and 'jealousy'. We bet the buttons on our pooja shirts that this is what Sri Nithyananda is saying to his 'inner circle' to try his best to discredit us. We have seen a lot of other tactics, and will save those for a future blog post.

And, finally, I close all my comments with 'Jai Maa'. so, when you say that you believe 'Jai Ma', do you mean that you believe me? That's reassuring, but I kind of doubt it. Please read carefully. Take care.

    Jai Maa.

  7. Well now it's getting interesting, with these comments being allowed. A debate is always fun!

To be fair, I used to visit the ashram, and have personally spent an hour or two in Swamis room. And I then came out with a big smile on my face. Which probably led people to wonder what happened behind closed doors, yes? Well, NOTHING happened. Either work was discussed, or else I sat there while the ashramites were discussing other matters with him.

Haven't you ever spent long hours in female company alone and still kept it platonic? Or is your social life so lousy ;)

    ReplyDelete
  8. Om Namah Shivaya,

Hi Ms. Tickle, Glad you think blog is interesting enough to join. We welcome you. To answer you honestly, yes, my social life is really lousy. In spite of all the cute ladies abound, I missed my chance to capitalize on my proximity to an 'enlightened' healing master, and somehow I managed to cling to my vows of fidelity instead. Now I know what those ashramites mean when they say, "I missed!" ;-) Oh, well. Better luck in my next life.

On a serious note, yes, there were plenty of platonic proximities where male devotees worked late and alone with female devotees and nothing happened except for a lot of work and perhaps some pretty delicious tea. And, even though I don't know who you are, I don't doubt that there were plenty of platonic relationships that Sri Nithyananda had with other females such as yourself. The very fact that other ashramites witnessed your meeting is a good sign. Three might be a crowd, but it leads to transparency.

There were other times, however, that the late night sessions with Sri Nithyananda just did not add up... and there was suspicious behavior... and then some very strong evidence which I will withhold unless it is pried out of me via a court date. (I guy has to look forward to some kind of date, you know.)

We also uncovered some strong points that Sri Nithyananda's stories don't really add up. Nine years of wandering done in four and a half years is key. But there are other stories. Please see this blog's October and November Archives for more details about Sri Nithyananda's stories that just don't make sense. So, we now strongly question Sri Nithyananda's validity and motives with several of these long and lonely meetings with attractive ladies. We just don't buy into his 'enlightened bill of goods' anymore.

Maybe there is an explanation for all of this... but for now, I'll trust my senses and evidence that I have, and will stand by that all the way to the courthouse.

    Jai Maa.

  10. Hi there,
I was never involved with Nithananda, once met a disciple in Chennai who was a very nice fellow and who gave me an energy healing I enjoyed. A friend of mine is considering more involvement with Nithyananda and I am trying to make sense of it all. Seems like this blog is more for insiders? Is there a way to get some more facts or more personal experiences of people feeling mistreated, not enlightened despite being proclaimed enlightened etc.?

    ReplyDelete
  11. So it seems like there are only guess about illicit sex going on. No strong evidense. The thing to focus on is however the big picture where innocent people are lured into the cult in the name of spirituality, meditation and yoga for a better life and end up devoting all your time and money into promoting and marketing for the organisation. It just consumes you and your life and the lives of your dear ones. All religious and other holidays are marked with special Satsungs that keeps you occupied and away from dear ones and their needs. The family becomes zombie like and each and every moment painful. The way they urge volunteers to hand out fliers at any public gathering and sweet talk potential victims into it is just too much. The volunteers are encouraged to beg, borrow or steal to attend the classes and made to feel guilty and worthless if they cannot. I wonder what other psychological manipulations they would come up with in order to make the dream of a "vedic temple" in NYC by 2010 a reality! Of course, as they joke, New Yorkers have thick vallets so why not dig in for a slice of the "big apple". Anyways, Nithy and his cult is unscratched and they are flourishing well on Uncle Sam's dollars and other generous donations. I bet they are planning on another round of "donation hunt" next year as well.

  12. Om Namah Shivaya.

    PART I:

Wow, looks like the Nithyananda's henchmen are running out of ways to do a counterattack.

Sri Nithya Anon, let's analyze your post. You start out with "Are you a monk?" (We corrected your grammatical errors and your sloppy typing through the grace of blogging etiquette.) So, since you have no argument based on any merits of your own, you create a mythical straw man to 'beat up' and try to labels the authors of this blog as being that straw man. You have expressed the typical cult mentality of the 'us' vs. 'them' approach. And, in your little sheltered world of Nithyananda behind the gated community of the ashram or within the walls of the temple, this strategy actually works amongst your crowd. But, sorry, it doesn't work here. Nobody is brainwashed here.

Just the same, perhaps I should cut you some slack and realize that you made that statement based on the knowledge of Nithyananda monks, which are troubling. Take Sri Nithya Ajara, a.k.a. Arun Prasant, for instance. This man not only divorced his wife, with Swami Nithyanda's blessings, but then went and womanized with many other ladies, which caused even more divorces. We know that the other ashramites in Los Angeles held a party at the ashram to celebrate Sri Nithya Ajara's 'liberation'. According to Ajara's brother, Bhaktapriya, who is also a monk/priest for the cult of Nithyandna, said that during Ajara's court appearance for the divorce, the lawyer for Ajara's wife suddenly had the urge to have a cup of tea. This left Ajara's wife without legal representation. She was thoroughly screwed. This was supposedly Swami's (Nithyananda's) 'energy' working, and all of you, cult members were very happy for this. Of course, Sahajananda gave a different version of the story, but you know which one we believe.

Further to document Ajara's lack of credibility is that anyone who has worked with him knows that behind that mask of a 'sweet face' is a very vindictive person full of illegal schemes to get back at people. We couldn't think of a more dangerous (as well as accurate) person to represent the cult of Nithyananda. Even Ma Nithyananda Snehamayi, the Bay Area City Coordinator, has learned just to ignore Sri Nithya Ajara, and Ajara has tested her limits of tolerance more than just once. Perhaps your guru, Sri Nithyananda Swami, would not have had all these truths come out as fast as they have, had it not been for Sri Nithya Ajara's willfulness and total lack of discipline of disobeying direct orders from your swami. Why Ajara is still allowed to be in your organization completely defies logic. But, that seems to be a reoccurring theme with your cult.

Then you, Sri Nithya Anon, go off to say if it is my job to post stories (actually they are truths) about your cult leader, Sri Nithyananda Swami, and that I must hate him and that I stalk him. Wow, you sure are polarizing, but then again, when you don't have any sound arguments and you have that cult mentality of 'us' vs. 'them' we mentioned earlier, this is what we can expect. OK. I will still answer your concerns. It might seem like this is all I do all day long and all night long. But, just like you, I am a graduate of the Sri Nithyananda Sleep Deprivation Program (NSDP) where I can do lots of work with little sleep. But, unlike you, I do pranayama (Vedic breathing exercises) which allows my mind to be strong and resistant... so I can still think clearly and do all of this work... in just a fraction of time. We really should thank Sri Nithyanda for all that practical experience. It is paying off.

To be continued in the next comment...

    Jai Maa.

    ReplyDelete
  13. Om Namah Shivaya.

    PART II

    Continued from the comment above.

Sri Nithya Anon, please let it be known that we do not hate Sri Nithyananda. Yes, we are very disappointed in his actions, and we would like him to stop or at least reform himself. As it is now, he's headed down a destructive path for others and especially himself. As Lord Krishna proclaimed in the Bhagavad Gita:

    Demigod-worshippers go to the demigods.
    Ancestor-worshippers go to the ancestors.
Those who utilize ghosts, go to the ghosts.
And my devotees go to me (and are not born again).
    (9.25)

And, judging by Sri Nithyananda's fire ritual record, looks like he's going to the ghosts. But, he still can save himself from himself, and not drag down the whole ship. He's built an amazing infrastructure and is a gifted speaker. If he stops all this greed, exploitation, and dark-tantric practices, he probably could do real service to the Divine. Let's hope Sri Nithyananda goes this route. That would be best for all.

Then, you call us 'stalkers'. Well, I guess this is probably the best name you can come up with to people that can bring up all the genuine truths about Sri Nithyananda. Personally, it has been almost two years since we saw him. So, it is kind of hard to be a stalker when you never been physically close. Admittingly, we look from time to time on your websites to see where he's at and who is he trying to brainwash, but we don't give him that much attention. Oh, yes, I've watched a YouTube video about 'Memory', that was very scary and full of brainwashing techniques. But, I don't think that counts for stalking... so we'll just leave that as more name calling on your side. Perhaps you can come up with something more original next time.

Then, Sri Nithya Anon, you make some feeble jab of having a 'sour love affair' with your cult leader, Sri Nithyanda. Once again, we're back to cult mentality of the 'us' vs. 'them' approach. Here, you, Sri Nithya Anon, try to blame the victim as if we couldn't handle being exploited by this psychopathic liar any more. Nice try... but interesting words you used about a 'sour love affair'. One of our contributors to this blog had his marriage completely destroyed by Sri Nithyananda. This marriage, like Sri Nithya Ajara's marriage, is destroyed, and they are officially divorced. So, Sri Nithya Anon, is divorce a good thing for some spiritual leader to promote? I don't think so. Most people could say that it is a 'sour' thing. So, there, you actually spoke some truth. Perhaps Sri Nithyananda should be known as the "Divorcing' Guru among his many exhalted credentials.

Finally, you end your comment with some lame taunt, something you would expect from a seven-year-old-in-a-sandbox, "post that, big boy!" (Once again, we took liberties to correct your grammar.) Wow, we don't know exactly how to respond to that. I must admit if anyone looks like Bob's Big Boy, it would be Sri Nithya Ajara, but with all of Sri Nithyananda's newfound chubbiness, he's coming up fast.

We hope that one day, you Sri Nithya Anon, will grow up and get out of this cult. Perhaps even you might appreciate these truths. Best of luck to you.

    Jai Maa.

  14. Someone need file suit against this Divorcing Gurus to expose him for what he really is.

He emphasis so many times about "No Divorce" in his organization. At the time, I was bothered by his "No Divorce" rule may force some women to stay in abusive marriages.

    ReplyDelete
  15. And ofcourse these are the ones that are legally divorced. What about so many others who are married but have totally drifted apart from each other because of one person being a staunch follower of Nithyananda. I know of many cases like that where wives/husbands are more closer to other devotees in the org while their own relationship with their spouse is going down the drain. For the ones really into the cult, it will eventually end in divorce.

    ReplyDelete
  16. Heh. You skewer "Nithya Anon" for his grammar when your whole blog is replete with grammatical goofs and inconsistencies - including your own very smug reply!

    - It's exalted, not 'exhalted'
    - It's admittedly, not 'admittingly'

    Etc.

    Talk about double standards.

"Why do you look at the speck of sawdust in your brother's eye and pay no attention to the plank in your own eye?"

Gonna post this? I didn't think so.

    ReplyDelete
  17. Om Namah Shivaya,

Thanks for the grammar corrections. I knew I would have some fault, and I knew that one of Nithyananda's henchmen would be taking lots of time and looking under a microscope to find fault. Congratulations. You didn't disappoint.

I now can really feel the love that Nithyananda fosters from his cult. Your love is kind of like the warm and gushy feeling one gets when they have indigestion, an ulcer, or something.

For the record, you are right about 'exalted'. I meant to write that... blame it on spell check, but I'll take the responsibility. Now, 'admittingly' is a word, because I looked it up. 'Admittedly' is admittedly more common, but I liked how 'admittingly' sounded, so I chose that.

Now, if you kindly divide my mistakes per words used, and then divide Sri Nithya Anon's mistakes per words used, you will see that I have a much lower density of mistakes per word than your friend, OK, he's my friend too, Sri Nithya Anon. So, once again, you brought more attention to yourselves, your mistakes, and your loving attitude that this cult fosters.

By the way, I didn't even bother to look at your post for mistakes, for it didn't phase me as important.

And, yes, you poor brainwashed cult members, there really isn't much that you can do to make me upset. Try as you might. (OK, that's kind of a fragment, but I did it on purpose; just to see if you would get upset.)

Please do at least one meditation per day. It will help you relax and not be so uptight. You might be even able to recruit new members if you look calm and peaceful too.

Please keep on sending your comments. They make wonderful fodder. We all have enjoyed your thoughtfulness.

    Jai Maa.

  18. Posting comments or not is not under their control. It depends on the order given by Nithyananda. So please excuse the angry Nithy devotees.

Its the cult mentality that is driving them. They are under illusion. Engulfed by Nithya Maya, it will be difficult to see the truth.

  20. During the Montclair Vedic Temple opening ceremony in November 2007, several ashramite ladies proudly said they removed thier mangala sutras (a golden thread married Indian ladies wear on the neck) for Nithy's weekend meditation program, and never put them back on.

Are these ladies and their husbands remain as happy sannysins (renounciates) slaving for Nithy?

These people gave up a lot. What happens when they realised that Nithy is a fraud? It must be very hard if one of the partners sees Nithy for what he really is and the other doesn't.

* * IMPORTANT * * After submitting a comment, SCROLL DOWN to see if your comment was submitted or not. Sometimes it takes two or three submits before your comment is submitted. Thanks for your efforts.

Thanks for your interest in posting about the Cult of Nithyananda. Please note, that low quality and incendiary comments will most likely not be posted or if posted, they may be altered. Comments should refrain from profanity (bad words) and using manipulative methods to convey your points. Comments should focus on the fraud and cult practices of ‘Swami’ Nithyananda.

In detail, this blog is about the abuses and fraud of ‘Swami’ Nithyananda and his cult. We want your comments to focus on this. Comments that tie in the cult of Nithyananda with other abusive cults or spiritual frauds such as the Lord of Destructive Cults, Osho (Bhagwan Shree Rajneesh), known womanizer and mental torturer, Sri Sri Ravi Shankar (Art of Living), convicted sex criminal, Swami Premananda, King of Mass Suicide, Reverend Jim Jones (Jonestown Massacre / The People’s Temple), village idiot and convicted child-molester, Sri Sri Selvam Siddhar Swamiji, a.k.a. Dr. Commander Selvam, mass-murderer Asahara Shoko (Aum Shinrikyo), cheap, plastic avatar, Bhagavan Kalki (Kalki Deeksha Movement / Oneness Movement; [O.M.] et al.), Jaggi Vasudev (Isha Foundation) (who overtime has fallen from good to very bad & uses dark siddhis), the epitome of greedy evilness, Scientology with its deranged nutcase founder, L. Ron Hubbard, etc. will usually get a pass. Although we do not want to deny your personal experience or beliefs, negative criticism about other gurus including but not limited to Amma, Satya Sai Baba, Maharishi Mahesh Yogi (Transcendental Meditation [TM]), Paramahansa Yogananda (Self-Realization Fellowship), etc. would be best on other forums; not here. Criticism or comments that go against Paramahamsa Ramakrishna, Swami Vivekananda, Ramana Maharshi, Jesus Christ, Lord Buddha, Lord Mahavir, and world-recognized religions will probably never see the light of day. This is not an anti-guru or anti-religion blog. This is an anti-cult and anti-fraud blog focusing on our direct experience with the self-titled ‘Paramahamsa’ Nithyananda Swami.

* * NEW * * : You must respect the victims that have come forward. They have withstood false criminal charges, lawsuits, death threats, criminal intimidation, and heaps of humiliation. There's been no gain and lots of pain. The victims that have come forward don't need any more stress. Therefore, anything more than the first name and last initial of a known victim will not be posted 'as is'. Either it will be changed or deleted outright.

We welcome polite critics of ourselves and our blog. Comments that are pro-Nithyananda as long as they are written with the intent to have discussion, dialog, and understanding. For an excellent style, search for comments in blog written by then-supporter (but now defector) “Swamiji is God” (which Nithyananda is not). If you write in that style and intent, your comment is almost guaranteed to be posted. Pro-Nithyananda comments that are incendiary or damage-control propaganda will be: 1. Ignored (not posted) 2. Posted and ridiculed 3. Altered and ridiculed.
